Gjyqtarët 19
1 Në atë kohë, kur nuk kishte mbret në Izrael, një Levit, që banonte në pjesën më të lartë të krahinës malore të Efraimit, mori si konkubinë një grua nga Betlemi i Judës.
And it was in the days those and [was] a king there not in Israel and he was - a man a Levite sojourning in [the] remotest parts of [the] hill country of Ephraim and he took for himself a woman a concubine from Beth-lehem Judah.
2 Kjo konkubinë kreu një shkelje të kurorës kundër tij dhe e la për t’u kthyer në shtëpinë e atit të saj në Betlem të Judës, ku qendroi katër muaj.
And she was angry towards him concubine his and she went from with him to [the] house of father her to Beth-lehem Judah and she was there days four months.
3 Burri i saj u ngrit dhe shkoi te ajo për t’i folur zemrës së saj dhe për ta kthyer në shtëpi. Ai kishte marrë me vete shërbëtorin e tij dhe dy gomarë. Kështu ajo e çoi në shtëpinë e atit të saj; sa e pa, i ati i së resë e priti tërë gëzim.
And he arose husband her and he went after her to speak to heart her (to bring back her *QK) and servant his [was] with him and a pair of donkeys and she brought him [the] house of father her and he saw him [the] father of the young woman and he was glad to meet him.
4 Vjehrri i tij, i ati i së resë, e mbajti dhe ai qëndroi tri ditë me të; kështu hëngrën e pinë, dhe e kaluan natën aty.
And he took hold on him father-in-law his [the] father of the young woman and he remained with him three days and they ate and they drank and they spent [the] night there.
5 Ditën e katërt u ngritën herët në mëngjes dhe Leviti po bëhej gati të nisej, por i ati i vajzës së re i tha dhëndrit të tij: “Ha diçka që të mbahesh, pastaj shkoni”.
And it was on the day fourth and they rose early in the morning and he arose to go and he said [the] father of the young woman to son-in-law his sustain heart your a morsel of bread and after you will go.
6 Kështu u ulën bashkë, hëngrën dhe pinë njeri afër tjetrit. Pastaj i ati së resë i tha burrit të saj: “Të lutem, prano ta kalosh natën këtu, dhe zemra jote të gëzohet”.
And they sat down and they ate [the] two of them together and they drank and he said [the] father of the young woman to the man be willing please and spend [the] night so it may be good heart your.
7 Ai u ngrit për të ikur, por i vjehrri nguli këmbë aq shumë sa që ai vendosi ta kalojë natën aty.
And he arose the man to go and he urged him father-in-law his and he turned back and he spent [the] night there.
8 Ditën e pestë ai u ngrit herët në mëngjes që të ikte; dhe i ati i së resë i tha: “Të lutem, ngrohe zemrën”. Kështu u ndalën deri në pasdite dhe që të dy hëngrën.
And he rose early in the morning on the day fifth to go and he said - [the] father of the young woman sustain please heart your and delay until declines the day and they ate [the] two of them.
9 Kur ai njeri u ngrit për të ikur bashkë me konkubinën e tij dhë shërbëtorin e tij, i vjehrri, i ati i së resë, i tha: “Ja, ka filluar të erret; të lutem kaloje natën këtu; shiko, dita është duke mbaruar; kaloje këtu natën dhe zemra jote të gëzohet; nesër do të niseni herët dhe do të arrini në shtëpi”.
And he arose the man to go he and concubine his and servant his and he said to him father-in-law his [the] father of the young woman here! please it is sinking the day to become evening spend [the] night please here! to decline the day spend [the] night here so it may be good heart your and you will rise early tomorrow for journey your and you will go to tent your.
10 Por ai njeri nuk deshi ta kalojë natën aty; kështu u ngrit, u nis dhe arriti përballë Jebusit, që është Jeruzalemi, me dy gomarët e tij të shaluar dhe me konkubinën e tij.
And not he was willing the man to spend [the] night and he arose and he went and he came to opposite Jebus that [is] Jerusalem and [were] with him a pair of donkeys saddled and concubine his [was] with him.
11 Kur arritën pranë Jebusit, dita kishte kaluar tërësisht; shërbëtori i tha zotit të tij: “Eja, të lutem, të hyjmë në këtë qytet të Jebusejve dhe ta kalojmë natën aty”.
They [were] near Jebus and the day it had gone down exceedingly and he said the servant to master his come! please so let us turn aside to [the] city of the Jebusite[s] this so we may spend [the] night in it.
12 I zoti iu përgjegj: “Jo, nuk do të hyjmë në një qytet të huajsh që nuk janë bij të Izraelit, por do të shkojmë deri në Gibeah”.
And he said to him master his not we will turn aside to a city foreign who not [are] of [the] people of Israel they and we will pass on to Gibeah.
13 Pastaj i tha shërbëtorit të tij: “Eja, të arrijmë në një nga këto vende dhe ta kalojmë natën në Gibeah ose në Ramah”.
And he said to servant his (come! *QK) so let us drew near at one of the places and we will spend [the] night in Gibeah or in Ramah.
14 Kështu shkuan tutje dhe e vazhduan udhëtimin; dhe dielli perëndoi mbi ta pranë Gibeahut, që është pronë e Beniaminit.
And they passed on and they went and it went for them the sun beside Gibeah which [belongs] to Benjamin.
15 Aty u kthyen për të hyrë dhe për të kaluar natën në Gibeah. Kështu Leviti hyri dhe u ndal në sheshin e qytetit; por askush nuk i priti për të kaluar natën në shtëpinë e tij.
And they turned aside there to go to spend [the] night in Gibeah and he went and he sat in [the] open square of the city and not anyone [was] receiving them the house towards to spend [the] night.
16 Pikërisht në atë kohë një plak po kthehej në mbrëmje nga puna e tij në ara; ai ishte nga krahina malore e Efraimit dhe banonte si i huaj në Gibeah, por njerëzit e vendit ishin Beniaminitë.
And there! - a man old [was] coming from work his from the field in the evening and the man [was] from [the] hill country of Ephraim and he [was] sojourning in Gibeah and [the] men of the place [were] Ben-jaminites.
17 Me të ngritur sytë, pa kalimtarin në sheshin e qytetit. Plaku i tha: “Ku po shkon dhe nga po vjen?”.
And he lifted up eyes his and he saw the man who was traveling in [the] open square of the city and he said the man old where? are you going and from where? are you coming.
18 Leviti iu përgjegj: “Po shkojmë nga Betlemi i Judës në drejtim të pjesës më të largët të krahinës malore të Efraimit. Unë jam që andej dhe kisha vajtur në Betlem të Judës; tani po shkoj në shtëpinë e Zotit, por nuk ka njeri që të më presë në shtëpinë e tij.
And he said to him [are] passing we from Beth-lehem Judah to [the] remotest parts of [the] hill country of Ephraim [am] from there I and I went to Beth-lehem Judah and [the] house of Yahweh I [am] going and not anyone [was] receiving me the house towards.
19 Megjithatë ne kemi kashtë dhe bar për gomarët tanë dhe bukë e verë për mua, për shërbëtoren tënde dhe për djalin që është bashkë me shërbëtorin tënd; nuk na mungon asgjë”.
And [are] both straw as well as fodder there for donkeys our and [are] also food and wine there for me and for maidservant your and for the servant with servants your there not [is] lack of any thing.
20 Plaku i tha: “Paqja qoftë me ty! Megjithatë më lejo të kujdesem për çdo nevojë që ke; por ti nuk duhet ta kalosh natën në shesh”.
And he said the man old peace [be] to you certainly all lack your [is] on me only in the open square may not you spend [the] night.
21 Kështu e çoi në shtëpinë e tij dhe u dha ushqim gomarëve; udhëtarët lanë këmbët, pastaj hëngrën dhe pinë.
And he brought him to house his (and he fed *Qk) the donkeys and they washed feet their and they ate and they drank.
22 Ndërsa po kënaqeshin, disa njerëz të qyteti, njerëz të këqij rrethuan shtëpinë i ranë portës dhe i thanë të zotit plak të shtëpisë: “Nxirre jashtë atë njeri që ka hyrë në shtëpinë tënde, sepse duam ta njohim!”.
They [were] making good heart their and there! [the] men of the city men of sons of worthlessness they surrounded the house beating violently on the door and they said to the man [the] master of the house old saying bring out the man who he came to house your so we may know him.
23 Por i zoti i shtëpisë me të dalë jashtë, u tha atyre: “Jo, vëllezërit e mi, mos u sillni në mënyrë kaq të keqe; ky njeri erdhi në shtëpinë time, prandaj mos kryeni një poshtërsi të tillë!
And he went out to them the man [the] master of the house and he said to them may [you] not O brothers my may not you do evil please after that he has come the man this may [you] not house my may not you do the disgraceful folly this.
24 Ja ku janë këtu vajza ime e virgjër dhe konkubina e këtij njeriu; unë do t’i nxjerr jashtë, poshtërojini dhe bëni atë që mendoni; por mos kryeni kundër këtij njeriu një turp të tillë!”.
Here! daughter my the virgin and concubine his let me bring out please them and afflict them and do to them the good in eyes your and to the man this not you must do [the] thing of disgraceful folly this.
25 Por ata njerëz nuk e dëgjuan. Atëherë ai burrë mori konkubinën e tij dhe ua nxori atyre; ata e njohën dhe e përdorën tërë natën deri në mëngjes; e lanë të ikë vetëm kur filloi të zbardhë dita.
And not they were willing the men to listen to him and he took hold the man on concubine his and he brought [her] out to them outside and they knew her and they abused her all the night until the morning and they let go her (just as came up *QK) the dawn.
26 Ndaj të gdhirë kjo grua erdhi e u rrëzua para portës së shtëpisë të njeriut pranë të cilit rrinte burri i saj dhe mbeti aty deri sa u bë ditë.
And she came the woman to [the] turning of the morning and she fell [the] entrance of [the] house of the man where master her [was] there until the light.
27 Në mëngjes burri i saj u ngrit, hapi portën e shtëpisë dhe doli për të vazhduar udhëtimin e tij; dhe ja, konkubina e tij rrinte shtrirë te porta e shtëpisë me duart në pragun e saj.
And he arose master her in the morning and he opened [the] doors of the house and he went out to go to way his and there! the woman concubine his [was] falling [the] entrance of the house and hands her [were] on the threshold.
28 Ai i tha: “Çohu dhe eja të shkojmë!”. Por nuk mori asnjë përgjigje. Atëherë burri e ngarkoi mbi gomarin dhe u nisën për t’u kthyer në shtëpinë e vet.
And he said to her get up so let us go and there not [was one who] answered and he took her on the donkey and he arose the man and he went to place his.
29 Me të arritur në shtëpi, kapi një thikë, mori konkubinën e tij dhe e preu, gjymtyrë për gjymtyrë, në dymbëdhjetë copa, që i shpërndau në gjithë territorin e Izraelit.
And he came to house his and he took the knife and he took hold on concubine his and he cut in pieces her to bones her into two plus ten pieces and he sent out her in all [the] territory of Israel.
30 Kushdo që e pa këtë tha: “Nuk ka ndodhur kurrë dhe nuk është parë asnjë herë një gjë e tillë, qysh prej kohës që bijtë e Izraelit dolën nga vendi i Egjiptit e deri sot! Mbajeni parasysh këtë gjë; këshillohuni dhe flisni”.
And it was every [one who] saw and he said not it has occurred and not it has been seen like this from [the] day came up [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt until the day this set for yourselves on it take counsel and speak.
