Gjoni 1
1 Në fillim ishte Fjala dhe Fjala ishte pranë Perëndisë, dhe Fjala ishte Perëndi.
B'resheet ·In the beginning of the beginning· was ha D'var ·the Word·, and ha D'var ·the Word· was with God, and ha D'var ·the Word· was God.
2 Ai (fjala) ishte në fillim me Perëndinë.
The same was in the beginning with God.
3 Të gjitha gjërat u bënë me anë të tij (fjala), dhe pa atë nuk u bë asnjë nga ato që u bënë.
All things came to be through him and without him nothing made had being.
4 Në atë ishte jeta, dhe jeta ishte drita e njerëzve.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 Dhe drita shkëlqen në errësirë dhe errësira nuk e kuptoi.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 Qe një njeri i dërguar nga Perendia; emri i tij ishte Gjon.
There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John [Yah is gracious].
7 Ai erdhi si dëshmitar, për të dëshmuar për dritën, që të gjithë të besonin nëpërmjet tij;
The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him.
8 ai nuk ishte drita, por u dërgua për të dëshmuar për dritën.
He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light.
9 Ai (fjala) ishte drita e vërtetë, që ndriçon çdo njeri që vjen në botë.
The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.
10 Ai (fjala) ishte në botë, dhe bota u krijua me anë të tij, por bota nuk e njohu.
He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him.
11 Ai erdhi në shtëpinë e vet dhe të vetët nuk e pranuan,
He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him.
12 por të gjithë atyre që e pranuan, ai u dha pushtetin të bëhen bij të Perëndisë, atyre që besojnë në emrin e tij,
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name:
13 të cilët nuk janë lindur nga gjaku, as nga vullneti i mishit, as nga vullneti i burrit, por janë lindur nga Perëndia.
who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 Dhe Fjala u bë mish dhe banoi ndër ne; dhe ne soditëm lavdinë e tij, si lavdia e të vetëmlindurit prej Atit, plot hir e të vërtetë.
Ha D'var ·The Word· became flesh, and tabernacled among us. We saw his shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God·, such shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God· as of the one and only Son of the Abba ·Father·, full of grace and truth.
15 Gjoni dëshmoi për të dhe thirri duke thënë: “Ky është ai, për të cilin thashë: “Ai që vjen pas meje më ka paraprirë, sepse ishte përpara meje””.
John [Yah is gracious] testified about him. He cried out, saying, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.’”
16 Dhe ne të gjithë morëm, prej mbushullisë së tij, hir mbi hir.
From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.
17 Sepse Ligji u dha nëpërmjet Moisiut, por hiri dhe e vërteta erdhën nëpërmjet Jezu Krishtit.
For the Torah ·Teaching· was given through Moses [Drawn out]; grace and truth came through Yeshua Messiah [Salvation Anointed one].
18 Askush s’e pa Perëndinë kurrë; i vetëmlinduri Bir, që është në gjirin e t’Et, është ai që e ka bërë të njohur.
No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad·, he has declared him.
19 Dhe kjo është dëshmia e Gjonit, kur Judenjtë i dërguan nga Jeruzalemi priftërinj dhe levitë për ta pyetur: “Kush je ti?”.
This is John [Yah is gracious]’s testimony, when the Jews sent priests and Levites [Descendants of United with] from Jerusalem [City of peace] to ask him, “Who are you?”
20 Ai edhe e rrëfeu, edhe nuk e mohoi, dhe rrëfeu: “Unë nuk jam Krishti”.
He declared, and didn’t deny, but he declared, “I am not the Messiah [Anointed one].”
21 Atëherë ata e pyetën: “Kush je, pra? A je Elia?”. Ai tha: “Nuk jam!”. “Je ti profeti?”. Dhe ai përgjigjej: “Jo!”.
They asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah [My God Yah]?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” He answered, “No.”
22 Atëherë ata i thanë: “Kush je ti, që t’u japim përgjigje atyre që na dërguan? Ç’thua për veten tënde?”.
They said therefore to him, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
23 Ai u përgjigj: “Unë jam zëri i atij që bërtet në shkretëtirë: drejtoni udhën e Zotit, sikurse tha profeti Isaia”.
He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of MarYah [Master Yahweh],’ as Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] the prophet said.”
24 Dhe ata që qenë dërguar, ishin nga farisenjtë;
The ones who had been sent were from the Pharisees [Separated].
25 ata e pyetën dhe i thanë: “Atëherë pse ti pagëzon, kur nuk je as Krishti, as Elia, as profeti?”.
They asked him, “Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Messiah [Anointed one], nor Elijah [My God Yah], nor the prophet?”
26 Gjoni iu përgjigj atyre, duke thënë: “Unë pagëzoj me ujë, por midis jush është një që ju nuk e njihni.
John [Yah is gracious] answered them, “I baptize in water, but among you stands one whom you don’t know.
27 Ai është ai që vjen pas meje e më paraprin, të cilit unë nuk jam i denjë t’ia zgjidh lidhësen e sandaleve”.
He is the one who comes after me, who is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I’m not worthy to loosen.”
28 Këto gjëra ndodhën në Betabara, përtej Jordanit, ku Gjoni po pagëzonte.
These things were done in Bethany [House of affliction] beyond the Jordan [Descender], where John [Yah is gracious] was baptizing.
29 Të nesërmen, Gjoni e pa Jezusin që po vinte drejt tij dhe tha: “Ja, Qengji i Perëndisë, që heq mëkatin e botës!
The next day, he saw Yeshua [Salvation] coming to him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
30 Ky është ai për të cilin unë thashë: “Mbas meje vjen një burrë që më ka paraprirë, sepse ishte përpara meje!”.
This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who is preferred before me, for he was before me.’
31 Unë nuk e njihja, prandaj erdha të pagëzoj me ujë, që ky t’i zbulohet Izraelit”.
I didn’t know him, but for this reason I came baptizing in water: that he would be revealed to Israel [God prevails].”
32 Dhe Gjoni dëshmoi duke thënë: “E pashë Frymën duke zbritur nga qielli si një pëllumb dhe ndenji mbi të.
John [Yah is gracious] testified, saying, “I have seen haRuach [the Spirit] descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.
33 Unë nuk e njihja, por ai që më dërgoi të pagëzoj në ujë, më tha: “Ai, mbi të cilin do të shikosh se zbret Fryma dhe qëndron mbi të, është ai që pagëzon me Frymën e Shenjtë”.
I didn’t recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, ‘On whomever you will see haRuach [the Spirit] descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes in Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness].’
34 Dhe unë pashë e dëshmova se ai është Biri i Perëndisë”.
I have seen, and have testified that this is the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·.”
35 Të nesërmen Gjoni rrinte përsëri atje me dy nga dishepujt e vet.
Again, the next day, John [Yah is gracious] was standing with two of his disciples,
36 Dhe, duke i ngulur sytë mbi Jezusin që po kalonte, tha: “Ja Qengji i Perëndisë!”.
and he looked at Yeshua [Salvation] as he walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
37 Dhe të dy dishepujt dëgjuan atë duke folur, dhe e ndoqën Jezusin.
The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Yeshua [Salvation].
38 Por Jezusi u kthye dhe, kur pa se po e ndiqnin, u tha atyre: “Ç’kërkoni?”. Ata i thanë: “Rabbi (që e përkthyer do të thotë “mësues”), ku banon?”.
Yeshua [Salvation] turned, and saw them following, and said to them, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·” (which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), “where are you staying?”
39 Ai iu përgjigj atyre: “Ejani e shikoni”. Ata shkuan dhe e panë ku banonte ai, dhe ndenjën atë ditë bashkë me të. Ishte rreth orës dhjetë.
He said to them, “Come, and see.” They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon.
40 Andrea, vëllai i Simon Pjetrit, ishte një nga ata të dy që e kishin dëgjuar këtë nga Gjoni dhe kishin ndjekur Jezusin.
One of the two who heard John [Yah is gracious], and followed him, was Andrew [Manly], Simeon Peter [Hearing Rock]’s brother.
41 Ky gjeti më të parin vëllanë e vet, Simonin, dhe i tha: “E gjetëm Mesian që përkthyer do të thotë: “Krishti””;
He first found his own brother, Simeon [Hearing], and said to him, “We have found the Messiah [Anointed one]!” (which is, being interpreted, Moshiach ·Anointed one·).
42 dhe e çoi te Jezusi. Atëherë Jezusi e shikoi dhe tha: “Ti je Simoni, bir i Jonas. Ti do të quhesh Kefa, që do të thotë: “gur””.
He brought him to Yeshua [Salvation]. Yeshua [Salvation] looked at him, and said, “You are Simeon [Hearing] the son of Jonah [Dove]. You shall be called Cephas” (which is by interpretation, Peter [Rock]).
43 Të nesërmen, Jezusi donte të dilte në Galile; gjeti Filipin dhe i tha: “Ndiqmë!”.
On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee [District, Circuit], and he found Philip [Loves horses]. Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Follow me.”
44 Dhe Filipi ishte nga Betsaida, nga i njejti qytet i Andreas dhe i Pjetrit.
Now Philip [Loves horses] was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew [Manly] and Peter [Rock].
45 Filipi gjeti Natanaelin dhe i tha: “E gjetëm atë, për të cilin shkroi Moisiu në ligj dhe profetët: Jezusin nga Nazareti, të birin e Jozefit!”.
Philip [Loves horses] found Nathanael [Given by God], and said to him, “We have found the one that Moses [Drawn out] wrote about in the Torah ·Teaching·, and the Prophets— it is Yeshua [Salvation] son of Joseph [May he add] from Nazareth [Branch, Separated one].”
46 Dhe Natanaeli i tha: “A mund të dalë diçka e mirë nga Nazareti?”. Filipi i tha: “Eja e shih!”.
Nathanael [Given by God] said to him, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one]?” Philip [Loves horses] said to him, “Come and see.”
47 Jezusi pa se Natanaeli po vinte drejt tij dhe tha për të: “Ja një Izraelit i vërtetë, tek i cili s’ka mashtrim”.
Yeshua [Salvation] saw Nathanael [Given by God] coming to him, and said about him, “Behold, an Israelite [Descendant of God prevails] indeed, in whom is no deceit!”
48 Natanaeli i tha: “Nga më njeh?”. Jezusi u përgjigj dhe i tha: “Të pashë kur ishe nën fik, para se të të thërriste Filipi”.
Nathanael [Given by God] said to him, “How do you know me?” Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “Before Philip [Loves horses] called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
49 Natanaeli duke iu përgjigjur tha: “Mësues, ti je Biri i Perëndisë, ti je mbreti i Izraelit!”.
Nathanael [Given by God] answered him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·! You are Melek Isra'el [King of God prevails]!”
50 Jezusi u përgjigj dhe i tha: “Sepse të thashë se të pashë nën fik, ti beson; do të shohësh gjëra më të mëdha se këto!”.
Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “Because I told you, ‘I saw you underneath the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these!”
51 Pastaj i tha: “Në të vërtetë, në të vërtetë po ju them se tash e tutje ju do të shihni qiellin e hapur dhe engjëjt e Perëndisë duke u ngjitur dhe duke zbritur mbi Birin e njeriut”.
He said to him, “Most certainly, I tell you, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
