Jobi 26

1 Atëherë Jobi u përgjigj dhe tha: “Si e ke ndihmuar të dobëtin,

But Job answered and said,

2 ose si e ke ndihmuar krahun pa forcë?

To whom dost thou attach thyself, or whom art thou going to assist? is it not he that [has] much strength, and [he] who has a strong arm?

3 Si e ke këshilluar atë që nuk ka dituri, dhe çfarë njohurish të mëdha i ke komunikuar?

To whom hast thou given counsel? is it not to him who has all wisdom? whom wilt thou follow? is it not one who has the greatest power?

4 Kujt ia ke drejtuar fjalët e tua, dhe e kujt është fryma që ka dalë prej teje?

To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose breath is it that has come forth from thee?

5 Të vdekurit dridhen nën ujërat, dhe kështu bëjnë edhe banorët e tyre.

Shall giants be born from under the water and the inhabitants thereof?

6 Para atij Sheoli është i zbuluar, Abadoni është pa vel. (Sheol h7585)

Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. (Sheol h7585)

7 Ai shtrin veriun në zbrazëti dhe e mban tokën pezull mbi hiçin.

He stretches out the north wind upon nothing, and he upon nothing hangs the earth;

8 I mbyll ujërat në retë e tij, por ato nuk çahen nën peshën e tyre.

binding water in his clouds, and the cloud is not rent under it.

9 E mbulon pamjen e fronit të tij, duke shtrirë mbi të retë e tij.

He keeps back the face of his throne, stretching out his cloud upon it.

10 Ka shënuar një kufi të veçantë mbi sipërfaqen e ujërave, në kufirin e dritës me terrin.

He has encompassed the face of the water by an appointed ordinance, until the end of light and darkness.

11 Kollonat e qiellit dridhen dhe habiten nga kërcënimi i tij.

The pillars of heaven are prostrate and astonished at his rebuke.

12 Me forcën e tij qetëson detin, me zgjuarsinë tij ka rrëzuar Rahabin.

He has calmed the sea with [his] might, and by [his] wisdom the whale has been overthrown.

13 Me Frymën e tij ka zbukuruar qiejt, dora e tij ka shpuar tejpërtej gjarpërin dredharak.

And the barriers of heaven fear him, and by a command he has slain the apostate dragon.

14 Ja, këto janë vetëm thekët e veprave të tij. Ç’murmurimë të lehtë të tij arrijmë të dëgjojmë! Por vallë kush do të arrijë të kuptojë gjëmimin e fuqisë së tij?

Behold, these are parts of his way; and we will hearken to him at the least intimation of his word: but the strength of his thunder who knows, when he shall employ [it]?
