Jeremia 8

1 “Në atë kohë”, thotë Zoti, “do të nxirren nga varret eshtrat e mbretërve të Judës, eshtrat e princërve, eshtrat e profetëve dhe eshtrat e banorëve të Jeruzalemit,

At the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh (people will bring out *QK) [the] bones of [the] kings of Judah and [the] bones of officials its and [the] bones of the priests and - [the] bones of the prophets and [the] bones of [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem from graves their.

2 dhe do të ekspozohen para diellit, para hënës dhe para tërë ushtrisë së qiellit, që ata kanë dashur, kanë shërbyer, kanë ndjekur, kanë konsultuar dhe para të cilëve kanë rënë përmbys; nuk do të mblidhen as do të groposen, por do të jenë si pleh mbi faqen e dheut.

And they will spread out them to the sun and to the moon and to all - [the] host of the heavens which they loved them and which they served them and which they walked after them and which they consulted them and which they bowed down to them not they will be gathered and not they will be buried dung on [the] surface of the ground they will become.

3 Atëherë vdekja do të jetë më e mirë se jeta për të gjitha mbeturinat e kësaj race të keqe në tërë vendet ku do t’i kem shpërndarë”, thotë Zoti i ushtrive.

And it will be chosen death more than life by all the remnant which remain from the family evil this in all the places which remain where I have banished them there [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

4 Ti do t’u thuash atyre: “Kështu thotë Zoti: Në rast se dikush rrëzohet, a nuk ngrihet vallë? Në rast se dikush ndërron drejtimin, a nuk kthehet vallë?

And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh ¿ do people fall and not do they stand up? or? does anyone turn away and not does he return?

5 Pse, pra, ky popull, o Jeruzalem, është shmangur me një rebelim të përjetshëm? Ngulin këmbë në mashtrim dhe nuk pranojnë të kthehen.

Why? has it turned away the people this Jerusalem apostasy enduring they have kept hold on deceitfulness they have refused to return.

6 U kam kushtuar kujdes dhe i kam dëgjuar, por ata nuk flasin drejt; asnjeri nuk pendohet për ligësinë e tij dhe nuk thotë: “Çfarë bëra unë?”. Secili merr përsëri vrapimin e tij, si një kalë që hidhet në betejë.

I have paid attention and I have heard not right they speak there not [is] anyone [who] relents on wickedness his saying what? have I done all of it [is] turning (in own course their *QK) like a horse [which] rushes in the battle.

7 Madje edhe lejleku i qiellit i njeh stinët e tij, turtulli, dallëndyshja dhe krilat shikojnë me kujdes kohën e kthimit të tyre, por populli im nuk e njeh ligjin e Zotit.

Also a stork in the heavens it knows appointed times its and a turtle-dove (and a swift *QK) and a crane they keep [the] time of coming they and people my not they know [the] ordinance of Yahweh.

8 Si mund të thoni: “Ne jemi të urtë dhe ligji i Zotit është me ne”? Por ja, pena e rreme e shkruesve e ka bërë një falsitet.

How? will you say [are] wise we and [the] law of Yahweh [is] with us truly here! into falsehood it has made [it] a stylus of falsehood of scribes.

9 Njerëzit e ditur do të turpërohen, do të tremben dhe do të kapen. Ja, kanë hedhur poshtë fjalën e Zotit; çfarë diturie mund të kenë?

They will be put to shame wise [people] they will be dismayed and they have been captured there! [the] word of Yahweh they have rejected and wisdom of what? [belongs] to them.

10 Prandaj bashkëshortet e tyre do t’ua jap të tjerëve dhe arat e tyre pronarëve të rinj, sepse nga më i vogli deri te më i madhi lakmojnë fitime; nga profeti deri te prifti të gjithë përdorin gënjeshtrën.

Therefore I will give wives their to others fields their to [those who] dispossess for from [the] small and unto [the] great all of it [is] gaining unjust gain from prophet and unto priest all of it [is] doing falsehood.

11 Ata mjekojnë shkel e shko plagën e bijës së popullit tim, duke thënë: “Paqe, paqe”, kur nuk ekziston paqja.

And they have healed [the] fracture of [the] daughter of people my on a trifling [thing] saying peace - peace and there not [is] peace.

12 A u vinte turp vallë kur kryenin veprime të neveritshme? Jo! nuk kishin turp aspak dhe nuk dinin ç’është të skuqesh. Prandaj do të rrëzohen midis atyre që rrëzohen; kur do t’i vizitoj do të përmbysen”, thotë Zoti.

Are they ashamed? that an abomination they have done also at all not they are ashamed and to be ashamed not they know therefore they will fall among [those who] fall at [the] time of punishment their they will stumble he says Yahweh.

13 Do t’i shfaros me siguri”, thotë Zoti. “Nuk do të ketë më rrush te hardhia as fiq te fiku dhe gjethet do të fishken. Edhe gjërat që u kam dhënë do t’u hiqen”.

Surely I will make an end of them [the] utterance of Yahweh there not [will be] grapes on the vine and there not [will be] figs on the fig tree and the leafage it will wither and I gave to them they will pass away them.

14 “Pse rrimë ulur? Mblidhuni dhe të hyjmë në qytetet e fortifikuara, dhe në to të vdesim. Sepse Zoti, Perëndia ynë, na bën të vdesim dhe na bën të pimë ujë të helmuar, sepse kemi mëkatuar kundër Zotit.

Concerning what? [are] we sitting gather yourselves so we may go into [the] cities of fortification so we may perish there for Yahweh God our he has silenced us and he has given to drink us water of poison for we have sinned to Yahweh.

15 Prisnim paqen, por nuk erdhi asnjë e mirë, një kohë shërimi, por ja, terrori”.

We waited eagerly for peace and there not [was] good for a time of healing and there! terror.

16 Nga Dani dëgjohet turfullima e kuajve të tij; në zhurmën e hingëllimave të kuajve të tij të luftës dridhet gjithë vendi, sepse vijnë dhe gllabërojnë vendin dhe tërë ato që ai ka, qytetin dhe banorët e tij.

From Dan it has been heard [the] snorting of horses his from [the] sound of [the] neighings of mighty [horses] his it has shaken all the land and they have come and they have consumed [the] land and what fills it [the] city and [the] inhabitants in it.

17 “Sepse ja, unë do të dërgoj kundër jush gjarpërinj dhe nepërka, kundër të cilëve nuk vlen asnjë yshtje dhe ata do t’ju kafshojnë”, thotë Zoti.

For here I [am] about to send among you snakes vipers which there not for them [is] a charm and they will bite you [the] utterance of Yahweh.

18 Sikur të gjeja ngushëllim për dhembjen time. Zemra po më ligështohet përbrenda.

Cheerfulness my on sorrow on me heart my [is] faint.

19 Ja një zë: është britma e bijës së popullit tim nga një tokë e largët: “Mos vallë Zoti është në Sion? A nuk është mbreti i tij në mes të tij?”. “Pse kanë ngacmuar zemërimin tim me shëmbëlltyrat e tyre të gdhendura dhe me idhuj të huaj?”.

There! [the] sound of [the] cry for help of [the] daughter of people my from a land of distance ¿ [is] Yahweh not in Zion or? [is] king its not in it why? have they provoked to anger me by idols their by vanities of foreignness.

20 Korrja ka mbaruar, vera ka marrë fund dhe ne nuk kemi shpëtuar.

It has passed harvest it has come to an end summer and we not we have been saved.

21 Për plagën e bijës së popullit tim jam i dëshpëruar, po mbaj zi, jam i tmerruar.

On [the] brokenness of [the] daughter of people my I have been broken I am in mourning desolation it has taken hold of me.

22 A nuk ka vallë ndonjë balsam në Galaad, a nuk ka atje ndonjë mjek? Pse, pra, nuk po i vjen shërimi bijës së popullit tim?

¿ Balm [is] there not in Gilead or? a physician [is] there not there for why? not has it come up [the] healing of [the] daughter of people my.
