Jeremia 38

1 Shefatiahu bir i Metanit, Gedaliahu bir i Pashhurit, Jukali bir i Pashhurit, Jukali, bir i Shelemiahut, dhe Pashhuri bir i Malkiahut, dëgjuan fjalët që Jeremia i drejtonte tërë popullit, duke thënë:

and to hear: hear Shephatiah son: child Mattan and Gedaliah son: child Pashhur and Jucal son: child Shelemiah and Pashhur son: child Malchiah [obj] [the] word which Jeremiah to speak: speak to(wards) all [the] people to/for to say

2 “Kështu thotë Zoti: Kush do të mbetet në këtë qytet ka për të vdekur nga shpata, nga uria ose nga murtaja, por ai që do t’u dorëzohet Kaldeasve do të jetojë; do të ketë si pre e tij jetën e tij, por do të jetojë”.

thus to say LORD [the] to dwell in/on/with city [the] this to die in/on/with sword in/on/with famine and in/on/with pestilence and [the] to come out: come to(wards) [the] Chaldea (and to live *QK) and to be to/for him soul: life his to/for spoil and to live

3 Kështu thotë Zoti: “Ky qytet do të jepet me siguri në dorë të ushtrisë së mbretit të Babilonisë, që do ta pushtojë atë”.

thus to say LORD to give: give to give: give [the] city [the] this in/on/with hand: power strength: soldiers king Babylon and to capture her

4 Atëherë princat i thanë mbretit: “Ah, le të vritet ky njeri, sepse ligështon duart e njerëzve të luftës që kanë mbetur në këtë qytet, dhe duart e tërë popullit, duke u thënë fjalë të tilla. Ky njeri nuk kërkon mirëqënien e këtij populli, por të keqen e tij”.

and to say [the] ruler to(wards) [the] king to die please [obj] [the] man [the] this for as that: since as as he/she/it to slacken [obj] hand human [the] battle [the] to remain in/on/with city [the] this and [obj] hand all [the] people to/for to speak: speak to(wards) them like/as word [the] these for [the] man [the] this nothing he to seek to/for peace: well-being to/for people [the] this that if: except if: except to/for distress: harm

5 Atëherë mbreti Sedekia tha: “Ja ku e keni në duart tuaja, sepse mbreti nuk mund të bëjë asgjë kundër jush”.

and to say [the] king Zedekiah behold he/she/it in/on/with hand your for nothing [the] king be able [obj] you word: thing

6 Atëherë e morën Jeremian dhe e hodhën në sternën e Malkiahut, birit të mbretit, që ishte në oborrin e burgut; dhe e zbritën në të Jeremian me litarë. Në sternë nuk kishte ujë, por vetëm baltë, dhe Jeremia u fundos në baltë.

and to take: take [obj] Jeremiah and to throw [obj] him to(wards) [the] pit Malchiah son: child [the] `the king` which in/on/with court [the] guardhouse and to send: depart [obj] Jeremiah in/on/with cord and in/on/with pit nothing water that if: except if: except mud and to sink Jeremiah in/on/with mud

7 Por Ebed-meleku, Etiopiasi, një eunuk që rrinte në shtëpinë e mbretit, dëgjoi që Jeremian e kishin vënë në sternë. Ndërsa mbreti rrinte ulur te porta e Beniaminit,

and to hear: hear Ebed-melech Ebed-melech [the] Ethiopian man eunuch and he/she/it in/on/with house: palace [the] king for to give: put [obj] Jeremiah to(wards) [the] pit and [the] king to dwell in/on/with gate Benjamin (Gate)

8 Ebed-meleku doli nga shtëpia e mbretit dhe i foli mbretit, duke i thënë:

and to come out: come Ebed-melech Ebed-melech from house: palace [the] king and to speak: speak to(wards) [the] king to/for to say

9 “O mbret, imzot, këta njerëz kanë vepruar keq në tërë ato që i kanë bërë profetit Jeremia, duke e hedhur në sternë; aty brenda ai do të vdesë nga uria, sepse nuk ka më bukë në qytet”.

lord my [the] king be evil [the] human [the] these [obj] all which to make: do to/for Jeremiah [the] prophet [obj] which to throw to(wards) [the] pit and to die underneath: stand him from face: because [the] famine for nothing [the] food: bread still in/on/with city

10 Atëherë mbreti i dha këtë urdhër Etiopiasit Ebed-melek: “Merr me vete nga këtu tridhjetë burra dhe nxirre jashtë profetin Jeremia nga sterna para se të vdesë”.

and to command [the] king [obj] Ebed-melech Ebed-melech [the] Ethiopian to/for to say to take: take in/on/with hand: themselves your from this thirty human and to ascend: establish [obj] Jeremiah [the] prophet from [the] pit in/on/with before to die

11 Kështu Ebed-meleku mori me vete burrat, hyri në shtëpinë e mbretit duke kaluar poshtë vendit të thesarit, mori andej rroba dhe lecka të konsumuara dhe ia zbriti me litarë Jeremias në sternë.

and to take: take Ebed-melech Ebed-melech [obj] [the] human in/on/with hand: to his and to come (in): come house: palace [the] king to(wards) underneath: under [the] treasure and to take: take from there old (rag *QK) and old rag and to send: depart them to(wards) Jeremiah to(wards) [the] pit in/on/with cord

12 Pastaj Ebed-meleku Etiopiasi i tha Jeremias: “Oh, vëri këto rroba dhe lecka të konsumuara poshtë sqetullave, poshtë litarëve”. Jeremia veproi ashtu.

and to say Ebed-melech Ebed-melech [the] Ethiopian to(wards) Jeremiah to set: make please old [the] rag and [the] rag underneath: under joint hand your from underneath: under to/for cord and to make: do Jeremiah so

13 Kështu e tërhoqën lart Jeremian me anë të litarëve dhe e bënë të dalë nga sterna. Pastaj Jeremia mbeti në kopshtin e burgut.

and to draw [obj] Jeremiah in/on/with cord and to ascend: establish [obj] him from [the] pit and to dwell Jeremiah in/on/with court [the] guardhouse

14 Atëherë mbreti Sedekia dërgoi të marrin profetin Jeremia dhe e bëri të vijë në hyrjen e tretë të shtëpisë të Zotit. Mbreti i tha Jeremias: “Të kërkoj një gjë; mos më fshih asgjë”.

and to send: depart [the] king Zedekiah and to take: recieve [obj] Jeremiah [the] prophet to(wards) him to(wards) entrance [the] third which in/on/with house: temple LORD and to say [the] king to(wards) Jeremiah to ask I [obj] you word: speaking not to hide from me word

15 Jeremia iu përgjigj Sedekias: “Po të ta them, me siguri nuk do të bësh që të vdes? Dhe në qoftë se pastaj të jap një këshillë, nuk do të ma dëgjosh”.

and to say Jeremiah to(wards) Zedekiah for to tell to/for you not to die to die me and for to advise you not to hear: hear to(wards) me

16 Kështu mbreti Sedekia iu betua fshehurazi Jeremias, duke thënë: “Ashtu siç është e vërtetë që Zoti rron, që na ka dhënë këtë jetë, nuk do të bëj të vdesësh dhe nuk do të dorëzoj në dorën e këtyre njerëzve që kërkojnë jetën tënde”.

and to swear [the] king Zedekiah to(wards) Jeremiah in/on/with secrecy to/for to say alive LORD ([obj] *QK) which to make to/for us [obj] [the] soul: life [the] this if: surely no to die you and if to give: give you in/on/with hand: power [the] human [the] these which to seek [obj] soul: life your

17 Atëherë Jeremia i tha Sedekias: “Kështu thotë Zoti, Perëndia i ushtrive, Perëndia i Izraelit: Në rast se u dorëzohesh princave të mbretit të Babilonisë, do të shpëtosh jetën tënde; ky qytet nuk do të digjet dhe ti do të jetosh me shtëpinë tënde;

and to say Jeremiah to(wards) Zedekiah thus to say LORD God Hosts God Israel if to come out: surrender to come out: surrender to(wards) ruler king Babylon and to live soul: life your and [the] city [the] this not to burn in/on/with fire and to live you(m. s.) and house: household your

18 por në rast se nuk do t’u dorëzohesh princave të mbretit të Babilonisë, ky qytet do t’u lihet në dorë Kaldeasve që do t’i vënë flakën, dhe ti nuk do të shpëtosh nga duart e tyre”.

and if not to come out: surrender to(wards) ruler king Babylon and to give: give [the] city [the] this in/on/with hand: power [the] Chaldea and to burn her in/on/with fire and you(m. s.) not to escape from hand: power their

19 Mbreti Sedekia i tha Jeremias: “Kam frikë nga Judejtë që kaluan nga ana e Kaldeasve, kam frikë se mos më japin në duart e tyre dhe të më keqtrajtojnë”.

and to say [the] king Zedekiah to(wards) Jeremiah I be anxious [obj] [the] Jew which to fall: deserting to(wards) [the] Chaldea lest to give: give [obj] me in/on/with hand: to their and to abuse in/on/with me

20 Por Jeremia iu përgjigj: “Nuk do të të dorëzojnë në duart e tyre. Oh, dëgjo zërin e Zotit në atë që të them; kështu do të të ecë mbarë dhe do të jetosh.

and to say Jeremiah not to give: give to hear: obey please in/on/with voice LORD to/for which I to speak: speak to(wards) you and be good to/for you and to live soul: life your

21 Por në rast se ti refuzon të dalësh, kjo është ajo që Zoti më ka treguar:

and if refusing you(m. s.) to/for to come out: surrender this [the] word which to see: see me LORD

22 Ja, të gjitha gratë që kanë mbetur në shtëpinë e mbretit të Judës do të çohen te princat e mbretit të Babilonisë dhe do të thonë: “Miqtë e tu të ngushtë të kanë bërë për vete dhe kanë sunduar mbi ty; këmbët e tua janë fundosur në baltë dhe ata të kanë kthyer kurrizin”.

and behold all [the] woman which to remain in/on/with house: palace king Judah to come out: send to(wards) ruler king Babylon and they(fem.) to say to incite you and be able to/for you human peace: friendship your to sink in/on/with mire foot your to turn back

23 Të gjitha bashkëshortet e tua dhe bijtë e tu do të çohen te Kaldeasit dhe ti nuk do të shpëtosh nga duart e tyre, por do të të zënë dhe do të të dorëzojnë në duart e mbretit të Babilonisë dhe këtij qyteti do t’i vihet zjarri”.

and [obj] all woman: wife your and [obj] son: child your to come out: send to(wards) [the] Chaldea and you(m. s.) not to escape from hand: power their for in/on/with hand: power king Babylon to capture and [obj] [the] city [the] this to burn in/on/with fire

24 Sedekia i tha Jeremias: Askush të mos i dijë këto fjalë dhe ti nuk ke për të vdekur.

and to say Zedekiah to(wards) Jeremiah man: anyone not to know in/on/with word [the] these and not to die

25 Por në rast se princat do të mësojnë që kam folur me ty dhe do të vijnë te ti për të të thënë: “Na njofto çfarë i ke thënë mbretit dhe atë që mbreti të ka thënë ty, mos na fshih asgjë dhe nuk do të të bëjmë të vdesësh”,

and for to hear: hear [the] ruler for to speak: speak with you and to come (in): come to(wards) you and to say to(wards) you to tell [emph?] please to/for us what? to speak: speak to(wards) [the] king not to hide from us and not to die you and what? to speak: speak to(wards) you [the] king

26 do t’u përgjigjesh atyre: “I paraqita kërkesën time mbretit, që të mos më kthente në shtëpinë e Jonathanit për të vdekur””.

and to say to(wards) them to fall: fall I supplication my to/for face: before [the] king to/for lest to return: return me house: household Jonathan to/for to die there

27 Tërë princat erdhën te Jeremia dhe e morën në pyetje, por ai u përgjigj duke iu përmbajtur tërë fjalëve që mbreti kishte urdhëruar; prandaj e lanë të qetë, nuk mësuan asgjë nga biseda.

and to come (in): come all [the] ruler to(wards) Jeremiah and to ask [obj] him and to tell to/for them like/as all [the] word [the] these which to command [the] king and be quiet from him for not to hear: hear [the] word: speaking

28 Kështu Jeremia mbeti në oborrin e burgut deri ditën që u pushtua Jeruzalemi. Dhe ai ishte atje kur u shti në dorë Jeruzalemi.

and to dwell Jeremiah in/on/with court [the] guardhouse till day which to capture Jerusalem and to be like/as as which to capture Jerusalem
