Isaia 28
1 Mjerë kurorës së kryelartësisë të të dehurve, të Efraimit dhe lules së fishkur të bukurisë së tij të lavdishme që ri mbi krye të luginës pjellore të atyre që i ka mposhtur vera!
Wo to the coroun of pride, to the drunkun men of Effraym, and to the flour fallynge doun of the glorie of the ful out ioiyng therof, that weren in the cop of the fatteste valei, and erriden of wyn.
2 Ja, Zoti ka një njeri të fortë dhe të fuqishëm, si një stuhi breshëri, si një tufan shkatërrues; si një aluvion ujërash të fuqishëm përmbytëse; ai do t’i hedhë për tokë me dorën e tij.
Lo! the myyti and strong Lord, as the feersnesse of hail, a whirlwynd brekynge togidere, as the fersnesse of many watris flowynge, and sent out on a large lond.
3 Kurora e kryelartësisë të të dehurve të Efraimit do të shkelet;
The coroun of pride of the drunken men of Effraym schal be defoulid with feet,
4 dhe lulja e fishkur e bukurisë së tij të lavdishme që rri mbi krye të luginës pjellore do të jetë si një fik i hershëm para verës që dikush e shikon; ai e gëlltit sapo e ka në dorë.
and the flour of glorie of the ful out ioiyng of hym, that is on the cop of valei of fat thingis, schal be fallyng doun, as a tymeli thing bifore the ripenesse of heruest; which whanne a man seynge biholdith, anoon as he takith with hond, he schal deuoure it.
5 Atë ditë Zoti i ushtrive do të jetë një kurorë lavdie, një diadem i shkëlqyer për pjesën tjetër të popullit të tij,
In that dai the Lord of oostis schal be a coroun of glorie, and a garlond of ful out ioiyng, to the residue of his puple;
6 një frymë drejtësie për atë që ulet për të gjykuar dhe forca e atyre që në betejë e sprapsin armikun deri te portat e tij.
and a spirit of doom to hym that sittith on the trone, and strengthe to hem that turnen ayen fro batel to the yate.
7 Por edhe këta shkojnë sa djathtas aq edhe majtas për shkak të verës dhe u merren këmbët nga pijet dehëse; prifti dhe profeti lëkunden për shkak të pijeve dehëse, lëkunden sikur të kishin vegime, ngurrojnë në dhënien e vendimeve.
But also thei knewen not for wyn, and erriden for drunkenesse; the preest and profete knewen not for drunkenesse; thei weren sopun up of wyn, thei erriden in drunkenesse; thei knewen not a profete, thei knewen not doom.
8 Tërë tryezat janë plot me të vjellura dhe me ndyrësira, nuk ka më një vend të pastër.
For whi alle bordis weren fillid with spuyng and filthis, so that ther was no more place.
9 “Kujt dëshiron t’i mësojë diturinë? Kujt dëshiron t’ia bëjë të kuptueshëm mesazhin? Atyre që sapo janë zvjerdhur, atyre që sapo janë shkëputur nga sisa?
Whom schal he teche kunnyng, and whom schal he make to vndurstonde heryng? Men wenyd fro mylk, men drawun awei fro tetis.
10 Sepse ka një urdhër mbi urdhër, urdhër mbi urdhër, regull mbi regull, regull mbi regull, pak këtu dhe pak atje”.
For whi comaunde thou, comaunde thou ayen; comaunde thou, comaunde thou ayen; abide thou, abide thou ayen; abide thou, abide thou ayen; a litil there, a litil there.
11 Në fakt do të ndodhë që me buzë që bëlbëzojnë dhe me një gjuhë tjetër Zoti do t’i flasë këtij populli.
For whi in speche of lippe, and in other langage he schal speke to this puple,
12 Ai u kishte thënë: “Ja pushimi: vëreni të lodhurin të pushojë; këtu është fresk!”. Por ata nuk deshën ta dëgjojnë.
to which he seide, This is my reste; refreische ye a weri man, and this is my refreischyng; and thei nolden here.
13 Kështu fjala e Zotit u bë për ta urdhër mbi urdhër, urdhër mbi urdhër, rregull mbi rregull, rregull mbi rregull, pak këtu, pak atje, me qëllim që ata të binin mbrapsht, të bëheshin copë-copë, t’i zinte laku dhe të kapeshin.
And the word of the Lord schal be to hem, Sende thou, sende thou ayen; send thou, sende thou ayen; abide thou, abide thou ayen; abide thou, abide thou ayen; a litil there, a litil there; that thei go, and falle backward, and be al to-brokun, and be snarid, and be takun.
14 Prandaj dëgjoni fjalën e Zotit, o tallës, që sundoni mbi këtë popull, që rri në Jeruzalem!
For this thing, ye men scorneris, that ben lordis ouer my puple which is in Jerusalem, here the word of the Lord.
15 Ju thoni: “Kemi përfunduar një besëlidhje me vdekjen, kemi bërë një aleancë me Sheolin; kur rebeshi përmbytës do të kalojë, nuk do të arrijë deri te ne, sepse gënjeshtrën e kemi bërë strehën tonë dhe jemi fshehur prapa falsitetit”. (Sheol h7585)
For ye seiden, We han smyte a boond of pees with deth, and we han maad couenaunt with helle; a scourge flowynge whanne it schal passe, schal not come on vs, for we han set a leesyng oure hope, and we ben kyuered with a leesyng. (Sheol h7585)
16 Prandaj kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: “Ja, unë vendos si themel në Sion një gur, një gur të provuar, një kokë qosheje të çmuar, një themel të sigurt; ai që i beson atij nuk do të ngutet.
Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal sende in the foundementis of Sion a corner stoon preciouse, preuyd, foundid in the foundement; he that bileueth, schal not haaste.
17 Unë do të vendos të drejtën si masë dhe drejtësinë si plumbçe; breshëri do të pastrojë strehën e gënjeshtrës dhe ujërat do të përmbytin strehën tuaj.
And Y schal sette doom in weiyte, and riytfulnesse in mesure; and hail schal distrie the hope of leesyng, and watris schulen flowe on proteccioun. And youre boond of pees with deth schal be don awei,
18 Besëlidhja juaj me vdekjen do të anulohet dhe aleanca juaj me Sheolin nuk do të qëndrojë; kur rrebeshi përmbytës do të kalojë, ju do të shkeleni prej tij. (Sheol h7585)
and youre couenaunt with helle schal not stonde; whanne the scourge flowynge schal passe, ye schulen be to it in to defoulyng. (Sheol h7585)
19 Sa herë që do të kalojë, do t’ju kapë, sepse do të kalojë çdo mëngjes, ditën dhe natën, do të jetë një tmerr i vërtetë të dëgjosh vetëm të ta rrëfejnë.
Whanne euer it schal passe, it schal take awei yow; for whi erli in the grey morewtid it schal passe, in dai and niyt; and oonli trauel aloone schal yyue vndurstondyng to heryng.
20 Në fakt shtrati do të jetë i shkurtër për t’u shtrirë dhe mbulesa tepër e ngushtë për t’u mbuluar me të.
Forsothe the bed is streit, so that the tother falle doun; and a schort mentil schal not hile euer either.
21 Sepse Zoti do të ngrihet si në malin e Peratsimit, do të zemërohet si në luginën e Gabaonit, për të plotësuar veprën e tij, veprën e tij të padëgjuar, për të plotësuar punën e tij, punën e tij të pazakontë.
For as in the hil of departyngis the Lord schal stonde, as in the valei, which is in Gabaon, he schal be wroth, that he do his werk; his werk alien, that he worche his werk; his werk is straunge fro hym.
22 Mos u bëni, pra, tallës që lidhjet tuaja të mos përforcohen. Sepse unë kam dëgjuar nga ana e Zotit, e Zotit të ushtrive, se është vendosur shfarosja e plotë e gjithë vendit.
And now nyle ye scorne, lest perauenture youre boondis be maad streit togidere; for Y herde of the Lord God of oostis, endyng and abreggyng on al erthe.
23 Vini vesh dhe dëgjoni zërin tim, tregohuni të kujdesshëm dhe dëgjoni fjalën time!
Perseyue ye with eeris, and here ye my vois; perseyue ye, and here ye my speche.
24 A nuk lëron tërë ditën bujku për të mbjellë? A vazhdon vallë, ta çajë dhe ta prashitë tokën e tij?
Whether he that erith, schal ere al dai, for to sowe, and schal be kerue, and purge his londe?
25 Mbasi ka sheshuar sipërfaqen e saj, a nuk mbjell koprën dhe nuk përhap barin e gjumit, nuk vë grurin në brazda, elbin në vendin e caktuar dhe grurin e fortë gjatë kufijve?
Whether whanne he hath maad euene the face therof, schal he not sowe gith, and sprenge abrood comyn? and he schal not sette wheete bi ordre, and barli, and mylium, and fetchis in his coostis?
26 Perëndia i tij i tregon rregullin që duhet të ndjekë dhe e mëson.
And his God schal teche hym, in doom he schal teche hym.
27 Kopra nuk shihet me shirësen dhe nuk kalohet rrota e qerres mbi barin e gjumit; por koprën e rrahin me shkop dhe barin e gjumit me shufër.
Forsothe gith schal not be threischid in sawis, and a wheel of a wayn schal not cumpasse on comyn; but gith schal be betun out with a yerd, and comyn with a staf.
28 Gruri për bukë duhet të shtypet; prandaj nuk shtypet për gjithnjë, por kalohen mbi të rrota të qerres dhe kuajt, por pa e shtypur.
Sotheli breed schal be maad lesse, but he that threischith schal not threische it with outen ende, nether schal trauele it with a wheel of a wayn, nether schal make it lesse with hise clees.
29 Edhe kjo vjen nga Zoti i ushtrive, që është i mrekullueshëm në këshillat e tij dhe i madh për nga dituria”.
And this thing yede out of the Lord God of oostis, that he schulde make wondirful councel, and magnefie riytfulnesse.
