1 Këta janë pasardhësit e Esaut, që është Edomi.
Nowe these are the generations of Esau, which is Edom.
2 Esau i mori gratë e tij nga bijat e Kanaanëve: Adën, e bija e Elonit Hiteut, dhe Oholibamahën, e bija e Cibeonit Hiveut;
Esau tooke his wiues of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon an Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon an Hiuite,
3 dhe Basemathin, e bija e Ismaelit dhe motra e Nebajothit.
And tooke Basemath Ishmaels daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
4 Ada i lindi Esaut Elifazin;
And Adah bare vnto Esau, Eliphaz: and Basemath bare Reuel.
5 Basemathi lindi Reuelin, kurse Oholibamahu lindi Jeushin, Jalamin dhe Korahin. Këta janë bijtë e Esaut që i lindën në vendin e Kanaanit.
Also Aholibamah bare Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah: these are the sonnes of Esau which were borne to him in the land of Canaan.
6 Pastaj Esau mori gratë e tij, bijtë dhe bijat e tij, gjithë njerëzit e shtëpisë së tij, kopetë e tij, tërë bagëtinë e tij dhe tërë pasurinë që kishte blerë në vendin e Kanaanëve, dhe shkoi në një vend, larg vëllait të tij Jakob,
So Esau tooke his wiues and his sonnes, and his daughters, and all the soules of his house, and his flocks, and all his cattell, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan, and went into an other countrey from his brother Iaakob.
7 sepse pasuritë e tyre ishin tepër të mëdha, që ata të mund të banonin bashkë; vendi ku rrinin nuk ishte në gjendje t’i mbante për shkak të bagëtisë së tyre.
For their riches were so great, that they could not dwell together, and the lande, wherein they were strangers, coulde not receiue them because of their flockes.
8 Kështu Esau u vendos mbi malin e Seirit; Esau është Edomi.
Therefore dwelt Esau in mount Seir: this Esau is Edom.
9 Këta janë pasardhësit e Esaut, atit të Edomitëve, në malin e Seirit.
So these are the generations of Esau father of Edom in mount Seir.
10 Këta janë emrat e bijve të Esaut: Elifazi, i biri i Adës, gruaja e Esaut; Reueli, i biri i Bazemathës, gruaja e Esaut.
These are the names of Esaus sonnes: Eliphaz, the sonne of Adah, the wife of Esau, and Reuel the sonne of Bashemath, the wife of Esau.
11 Bijtë e Elifazit qenë: Temani, Omari, Cefoni, Gatami dhe Kenaci.
And the sonnes of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
12 Timna ishte konkubina e Elifazit, i biri i Esaut. Ajo i lindi Amalekun Elifazit. Këta qenë bijtë e Adës, gruaja e Esaut.
And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esaus sonne, and bare vnto Eliphaz, Amalek: these be the sonnes of Adah Esaus wife.
13 Këta qenë bijtë e Reuelit: Nahathi dhe Zerahu, Shamahu dhe Micahu. Këta qenë bijtë e Basemathës, gruaja e Esaut.
And these are the sonnes of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
14 Këta qenë bijtë e Oholibamahës, e bija e Anahut, e bija e Cibeonit, gruaja e Esaut; ajo i lindi Esaut: Jeushin, Jalamin dhe Korahun.
And these were the sonnes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon Esaus wife: for she bare vnto Esau, Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
15 Këta qenë krerët e bijve të Esaut: bijtë e Elifazit, i parëlinduri i Esaut; kreu Teman, kreu Omar, kreu Cefo, kreu Kenaz,
These were Dukes of the sonnes of Esau: the sonnes of Eliphaz, the first borne of Esau: Duke Teman, Duke Omar, Duke Zepho, Duke Kenaz,
16 kreu Korah, kreu Gatam dhe kreu Amalek; këta qenë krerët e rrjedhur nga Elifazi në vendin e Edomit; ata qenë bijtë e Adës.
Duke Korah, Duke Gatam, Duke Amalek: these are the Dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom: these were the sonnes of Adah.
17 Këta qenë bijtë e Reuelit, i biri i Esaut: kreu Nahath, kreu Zerah, kreu Shamah dhe kreu Micah; këta qenë krerët e rrjedhur nga Reueli në vendin e Edomit; ata qenë bijtë e Basemathës, gruaja e Esaut.
And these are the sonnes of Reuel Esaus sonne: Duke Nahath, Duke Zerah, Duke Shammah, Duke Mizzah: these are the Dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom: these are the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
18 Këta qenë bijtë e Oholibamahës, gruaja e Esaut, kreu Jeush; kreu Jeush, kreu Jalam dhe kreu Korah; ata qenë krerët e rrjedhur nga Oholibamah, e bija e Anahut dhe gruaja e Esaut.
Likewise these were the sonnes of Aholibamah Esaus wife: Duke Ieush, Duke Iaalam, Duke Korah: these Dukes came of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah Esaus wife.
19 Këta qenë bijtë e Esaut, që është Edomi, dhe këta qenë krerët e tyre.
These are the children of Esau, and these are the Dukes of them: This Esau is Edom.
20 Këta qenë bijtë e Seirit, Horeut, që banonin atë vend: Lotani, Shobali, Cibeoni, Anahu.
These are the sonnes of Seir the Horite, which inhabited the lande before, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah.
21 Dishoni, Etseri dhe Dishani. Këta qenë krerët e Horejve, bijtë e Seirit, në vendin e Edomit.
And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the Dukes of the Horites, the sonnes of Seir in the land of Edom.
22 Bijtë e Lotanit qenë: Hori dhe Hemami; dhe motra e Lotanit qe Timna.
And the sonnes of Lotan were, Hori and Hemam, and Lotans sister was Timna.
23 Këta qenë bijtë e Shobalit: Alvani, Manahathi, Ebali, Shefo dhe Onami.
And the sonnes of Shobal were these: Aluan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
24 Këta qenë bijtë e Cibeonit: Aja dhe Anahu. Anahu është ai që zbuloi në shkretëtirë ujëra të nxehta ndërsa po kulloste gomarët e Cibeonit, atit të tij.
And these are the sonnes of Zibeon: Both Aiah, and Anah: this was Anah that founde mules in the wildernesse, as he fedde his father Zibeons asses.
25 Këta qenë bijtë e Anahut: Dishoni dhe Oholibamah, e bija e Anahut.
And the children of Anah were these: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
26 Këta qenë bijtë e Dishonit: Hemdani, Eshbani, Ithrani dhe Kerani.
Also these are the sonnes of Dishan: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27 Këta qenë bijtë e Etserit: Bilhani, Zaavani dhe Akani.
The sonnes of Ezer are these: Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Akan.
28 Këta qenë bijtë e Dishanit: Utsi dhe Arani.
The sonnes of Dishan are these: Vz, and Aran.
29 Këta qenë krerët e Horejve: kreu Lothan, kreu Shobal, kreu Cibeon, kreu Anah,
These are the Dukes of the Horites: Duke Lotan, Duke Shobal, Duke Zibeon, Duke Anah,
30 kreu Dishon, kreu Etser, kreu Dishan. Këta qenë krerët e Horejve, krerët që ata patën në vendin e Seirit.
Duke Dishon, Duke Ezer, Duke Dishan: these bee the Dukes of the Horites, after their Dukedomes in the land of Seir.
31 Këta qenë mbretërit që mbretëruan në vendin e Edomit, para se ndonjë mbret të sundonte mbi bijtë e Izraelit:
And these are the Kings that reigned in the lande of Edom, before there reigned any King ouer the children of Israel.
32 Bela, i biri i Beorit, mbretëroi në Edom, dhe emri i qytetit të tij qe Dinhabah.
Then Bela the sonne of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
33 Bela vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Jobabi, i biri i Zerahut, nga Botsrahu.
And when Bela dyed, Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozra reigned in his steade.
34 Jobabi vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Hushami, nga vendi i Temanitëve.
When Iobab also was dead, Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his steade.
35 Hushami vdiq, dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Hadabi, i biri i Bedadit, që mundi Madianitët në fushat e Moabit; dhe emri i qytetit të tij qe Avith.
And after the death of Husham, Hadad the sonne of Bedad, which slewe Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
36 Hadadi vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Samlahu, nga Masrekahu.
When Hadad was dead, then Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his steade.
37 Samlahu vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Sauli nga Rohoboth, mbi Lumë.
When Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer, reigned in his steade.
38 Sauli vdiq dhe në vend të tij mbretëroi Baal-Hanani, i biri i Akborit.
When Shaul dyed, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his steade.
39 Baal-Hanani, i biri i Akborit, vdiq dhe në vendin e tij mbretëroi Hadari. Emri i qytetit të tij qe Pau, dhe emri i gruas së tij qe Mehetabel, e bija e Metredës dhe e Mezahabut.
And after the death of Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor, Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pau: and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
40 Këto qenë emrat e krerëve të Esaut, simbas familjeve të tyre dhe territoreve të tyre, me emrat e tyre; kreu Timnah, kreu Alvah, kreu Jetheth,
Then these are the names of the Dukes of Esau according to their families, their places and by their names: Duke Timna, Duke Aluah, Duke Ietheth,
41 kreu Oholibamah, kreu Elah, kreu Pinon,
Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,
42 kreu Kenac, kreu Teman, kreu Mibcar,
Duke Kenaz, Duke Teman, Duke Mibzar,
43 kreu Magdiel dhe kreu Iram. Këta qenë krerët e Edomit simbas vendbanimit të tyre, në vendin që zotëronin. Ky qe Esau, ati i Edomitëve.
Duke Magdiel, Duke Iram: these bee the Dukes of Edom, according to their habitations, in the lande of their inheritance. This Esau is the father of Edom.
