1 Por të dy engjëjt arritën në mbrëmje në Sodomë, ndërsa Loti ishte ulur te porta e Sodomës; sa i pa, ai u ngrit më këmbë për t’u dalë përpara dhe u shtri me fytyrën në tokë,
and to come (in): come two [the] messenger: angel Sodom [to] in/on/with evening and Lot to dwell in/on/with gate Sodom and to see: see Lot and to arise: rise to/for to encounter: meet them and to bow face land: soil [to]
2 dhe tha: “Zotërinjtë e mi, ju lutem, hyni në shtëpinë e shërbëtorit tuaj, kaloni aty natën dhe lani këmbët; pastaj nesër në mëngjes mund të çoheni shpejt dhe të vazhdoni udhën tuaj”. Ata u përgjigjën: “Jo; do ta kalojmë natën në sheshin”.
and to say behold please lord my to turn aside: turn aside please to(wards) house: home servant/slave your and to lodge and to wash: wash foot your and to rise (and to go: went *Lb) to/for way: journey your and to say not for in/on/with street/plaza to lodge
3 Por ai nguli këmbë aq shumë sa që ata erdhën tek ai dhe hynë në shtëpinë e tij. Ai u përgatiti një banket dhe poqi bukë pa tharm, dhe ata hëngrën.
and to press in/on/with them much and to turn aside: turn aside to(wards) him and to come (in): come to(wards) house: home his and to make to/for them feast and unleavened bread to bake and to eat
4 Por para se të shkonin në shtrat, njerëzit e qytetit, njerëzit e Sodomës, rrethuan shtëpinë; ishin të rinj e pleq, tërë popullsia e mbledhur nga çdo anë;
before to lie down: lay down and human [the] city human Sodom to turn: surround upon [the] house: home from youth and till old all [the] people from end
5 thirrën Lotin dhe i thanë: “Ku janë njerëzit që erdhën te ti sonte? Na i nxirr jashtë që të mund t’i njohim!”.
and to call: call out to(wards) Lot and to say to/for him where? [the] human which to come (in): come to(wards) you [the] night to come out: send them to(wards) us and to know [obj] them
6 Loti doli drejt atyre para portës së shtëpisë, e mbylli portën pas tij dhe tha:
and to come out: come to(wards) them Lot [the] entrance [to] and [the] door to shut after him
7 “Oh, vëllezër të mi, mos u sillni kaq keq!
and to say not please brother: male-sibling my be evil
8 Dëgjoni, unë kam dy vajza që nuk kanë njohur burrë; prandaj më lini që t’i nxjerr jashtë dhe bëni ç’të doni me to; por mos u bëni asgjë këtyre burrave, sepse janë nën mbrojtjen e shtëpisë sime”.

9 Por ata i thanë: “Shko tutje!”. Pastaj vazhduan: “Ky erdhi këtu si i huaj, dhe dëshiron të bëhet gjykatës! Tani do të sillemi më keq me ty se sa me ata!”. Dhe duke e shtyrë Lotin me dhunë, u afruan për të shpërthyer derën.

10 Por ata njerëz zgjatën duart e tyre dhe e tërhoqën Lotin brenda shtëpisë bashkë me ta, dhe mbyllën derën.
and to send: reach [the] human [obj] hand their and to come (in): bring [obj] Lot to(wards) them [the] house: home [to] and [obj] [the] door to shut
11 Goditën verbërisht njerëzit që ishin te dera e shtëpisë, nga më i vogli deri te më i madhi, kështu që u lodhën në orvatjen për të gjetur derën.
and [obj] [the] human which entrance [the] house: home to smite in/on/with blindness from small and till great: large and be weary to/for to find [the] entrance
12 Atëherë ata njerëz i thanë Lotit: “Kë ke tjetër këtu? Nxirr nga ky vend dhëndurët e tu, bijtë dhe bijat e tua, dhe cilindo që ke në qytet,
and to say [the] human to(wards) Lot still who? to/for you here son-in-law and son: child your and daughter your and all which to/for you in/on/with city to come out: send from [the] place
13 sepse ne po bëhemi gati ta shkatërrojmë këtë vend, sepse britma e banorëve të tij është e madhe përpara Zotit dhe Zoti na dërgoi për ta shkatërruar”.
for to ruin we [obj] [the] place [the] this for to magnify cry their with face: before LORD and to send: depart us LORD to/for to ruin her
14 Atëherë Loti doli e u foli dhëndurëve të tij që ishin martuar me bijat e tij, dhe tha: “Çohuni, largohuni nga ky vend, sepse Zoti do ta shkatërrojë qytetin”. Por dhëndurët e tij patën përshtypjen se ai po bënte shaka.
and to come out: come Lot and to speak: speak to(wards) son-in-law his to take: marry daughter his and to say to arise: rise to come out: come from [the] place [the] this for to ruin LORD [obj] [the] city and to be like/as to laugh in/on/with eye: appearance son-in-law his
15 Sa doli agimi, engjëjt e nxitën Lotin duke thënë: “Çohu, merr gruan dhe bijat e tua që gjenden këtu, që ti të mos vdesësh në dënimin e këtij qyteti”.
and like [the] dawn to ascend: dawn and to hasten [the] messenger: angel in/on/with Lot to/for to say to arise: rise to take: take [obj] woman: wife your and [obj] two daughter your [the] to find lest to snatch in/on/with iniquity: punishment [the] city
16 Duke qenë se ai po ngurronte, ata njerëz e morën për dore atë, të shoqen dhe dy bijat e tij, sepse Zotit i kishte ardhur mëshirë për të, e nxorrën jashtë dhe i shpëtuan jetën duke e çuar jashtë qytetit.
and to delay and to strengthen: hold [the] human in/on/with hand his and in/on/with hand woman: wife his and in/on/with hand two daughter his in/on/with compassion LORD upon him and to come out: send him and to rest him from outside to/for city
17 Ndërsa po i çonin jashtë, njëri prej tyre tha: “Ik shpejt për të shpëtuar jetën tënde! Mos shiko prapa e mos u ndal në asnjë vend të fushës; shpëto në mal që të mos vdesësh!”.
and to be like/as to come out: send they [obj] them [the] outside [to] and to say to escape upon soul: life your not to look after you and not to stand: stand in/on/with all [the] talent [the] mountain: mount [to] to escape lest to snatch
18 Por Loti iu përgjegj atyre: “Jo, zoti im!
and to say Lot to(wards) them not please Lord
19 Ja, shërbëtori yt gjeti hir para syve të tu dhe ti u tregove shpirtmadh ndaj meje, duke më shpëtuar jetën, por unë nuk do të mund të arrij malin para se të më zërë fatkeqësia dhe unë të vdes.
behold please to find servant/slave your favor in/on/with eye: seeing your and to magnify kindness your which to make: do with me me to/for to live [obj] soul: life my and I not be able to/for to escape [the] mountain: mount [to] lest to cleave me [the] distress: harm and to die
20 Ja, ky qytet është mjaft i afërt për ta arritur dhe është i vogël. Më lër, pra, të iki shpejt aty (a nuk është i vogël?) dhe kështu do të shpëtoj jetën”.

21 Engjëlli i tha: “Unë po ta plotësoj edhe këtë kërkesë: të mos shkatërroj qytetin për të cilin fole.
and to say to(wards) him behold to lift: kindness face: kindness your also to/for word: thing [the] this to/for lest to overturn I [obj] [the] city which to speak: speak
22 Shpejto, ik atje, sepse unë nuk mund të bëj asgjë para se ti të arrish atje”. Për këtë arsye ky qytet u quajt Coar.
to hasten to escape there [to] for not be able to/for to make: do word: thing till to come (in): come you there [to] upon so to call: call by name [the] city Zoar
23 Dielli po ngrihej mbi tokë kur Loti arriti në Coar.
[the] sun to come out: (sun)rise upon [the] land: country/planet and Lot to come (in): come Zoar [to]
24 Atëherë Zoti bëri që nga qielli të binte squfur dhe zjarr mbi Sodomën dhe Gomorën, nga ana e Zotit.
and LORD to rain upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from with LORD from [the] heaven
25 Kështu ai shkatërroi ato qytete, tërë fushën, tërë banorët e qytetit e gjithçka mbinte mbi tokën.
and to overturn [obj] [the] city [the] these and [obj] all [the] talent and [obj] all to dwell [the] city and branch [the] land: soil
26 Por gruaja e Lotit solli kryet për të shikuar prapa dhe u bë një statujë prej kripe.
and to look woman: wife his from after him and to be garrison salt
27 Abrahami u ngrit herët në mëngjes dhe shkoi në vendin ku kishte qëndruar para Zotit;
and to rise Abraham in/on/with morning to(wards) [the] place which to stand: stand there with face: before LORD
28 pastaj drejtoi shikimin nga Sodoma dhe Gomora si dhe nga tërë krahina e fushës, dhe kështu pa një tym që ngrihej nga toka, si tymi i një furre.
and to look upon face: before Sodom and Gomorrah and upon all face: before land: country/planet [the] talent and to see: see and behold to ascend: rise smoke [the] land: country/planet like/as smoke [the] kiln
29 Kështu ndodhi që kur Perëndia shkatërroi qytetin e fushës, Perëndisë iu kujtua Abrahami dhe e largoi Lotin nga gjëma kur shkatërroi qytetet ku Loti kishte banuar.
and to be in/on/with to ruin God [obj] city [the] talent and to remember God [obj] Abraham and to send: depart [obj] Lot from midst [the] overthrow in/on/with to overturn [obj] [the] city which to dwell in/on/with them Lot
30 Pastaj Loti doli nga Coari dhe shkoi të banojë në mal bashkë me dy bijat e tij, sepse kishte frikë të qëndronte në Coar; dhe u vendos në një shpellë bashkë me dy bijat e tij.
and to ascend: rise Lot from Zoar and to dwell in/on/with mountain: mount and two daughter his with him for to fear to/for to dwell in/on/with Zoar and to dwell in/on/with cave he/she/it and two daughter his
31 Më e madhja i tha më të voglës: “Babai ynë është plak, dhe nuk ka asnjë burrë në vend që mund të bashkohet me ne, ashtu siç ndodh mbi gjithë tokën.
and to say [the] firstborn to(wards) [the] little father our be old and man nothing in/on/with land: country/planet to/for to come (in): come upon us like/as way: conduct all [the] land: country/planet
32 Eja, t’i japim verë babait tonë e të shtrihemi bashkë me të; kështu do të mund t’i sigurojmë pasardhës babait tonë”.
to go: come! [emph?] to water: drink [obj] father our wine and to lie down: have sex with him and to live from father our seed: children
33 Kështu po atë natë i dhanë verë babait të tyre dhe e madhja u shtri bashkë me të atin, por ai nuk u kujtua as kur ajo u shtri me të, as kur u ngrit.
and to water: drink [obj] father their wine in/on/with night he/she/it and to come (in): come [the] firstborn and to lie down: have sex [obj] father her and not to know in/on/with to lie down: have sex she and in/on/with to arise: rise she
34 Të nesërmen vajza më e madhe i tha më të voglës: “Ja, natën e kaluar unë rashë në shtrat bashkë me babanë tim; le të bëjmë që ai të pijë verë edhe sonte; pastaj ti futu dhe shtrihu me të, që të mund t’i sigurojmë pasardhës babait tonë”.
and to be from morrow and to say [the] firstborn to(wards) [the] little look! to lie down: have sex last night [obj] father my to water: drink him wine also [the] night and to come (in): come to lie down: have sex with him and to live from father our seed: children
35 Edhe atë natë i dhanë verë babait të tyre dhe më e vogla shkoi të shtrihet bashkë me të, dhe ai nuk u kujtua as kur u shtri, as kur u ngrit.
and to water: drink also in/on/with night [the] he/she/it [obj] father their wine and to arise: rise [the] little and to lie down: have sex with him and not to know in/on/with to lie down: have sex she and in/on/with to arise: rise she
36 Kështu dy bijat e Lotit u ngjizën nga babai i tyre.
and to conceive two daughter Lot from father their
37 Më e madhja lindi një djalë, të cilit ia vuri emrin Moab. Ky është babai i Moabitëve, që ekzistojnë deri në ditët tona.
and to beget [the] firstborn son: child and to call: call by name his Moab he/she/it father Moab till [the] day: today
38 Edhe më e vogla lindi një djalë, të cilit ia vuri emrin Ben-Ami. Ky është babai i Amonitëve, që ekzistojnë deri në ditët tona.
and [the] little also he/she/it to beget son: child and to call: call by name his Ben-ammi Ben-ammi he/she/it father son: descendant/people Ammon till [the] day: today
