Zanafilla 16

1 Por Saraj, gruaja e Abramit, nuk i kishte dhënë asnjë fëmijë. Ajo kishte një shërbyese egjiptase që quhej Agar.

And Sarai [the] wife of Abram not she had borne children to him and [belonged] to her a maidservant Egyptian and name her [was] Hagar.

2 Kështu Saraj i tha Abramit: “Ja, Zoti më ka ndaluar të kem fëmijë; oh, futu te shërbysja ime, ndofta mund të kem fëmijë prej saj”. Dhe Abrami dëgjoi zërin e Sarajt.

And she said Sarai to Abram here! please he has restrained me Yahweh from bearing children go please into maidservant my perhaps I will be built up (from her *Lb) and he listened Abram to [the] voice of Sarai.

3 Kështu pra Saraj, gruaja e Abramit, mbasi ky i fundit kishte banuar dhjetë vjet në vendin e Kanaanëve, mori shërbyesen e saj Agarin, egjiptasen, dhe ia dha për grua burrit të saj Abramit.

And she took Sarai [the] wife of Abram Hagar the Egyptian maidservant her from [the] end of ten years of [the] dwelling of Abram in [the] land of Canaan and she gave her to Abram husband her of him to a wife.

4 Dhe ai u fut tek Agari, që mbeti me barrë; por kur u bind se kishte mbetur me barrë, ajo e shikoi me përbuzje zonjën e saj.

And he went into Hagar and she conceived and she saw that she had conceived and she became insignificant mistress her in eyes her.

5 Atëherë Saraj i tha Abramit: “Përgjegjësia për fyerjen që m’u bë le të bjerë mbi ty. Kam qënë unë që të hodha në krahët e shërbyeses sime; por që kur e mori vesh që është me barrë, ajo më shikon me përbuzje. Zoti le të jetë gjykatës midis meje dhe teje”.

And she said Sarai to Abram injustice my [is] on you I I put maidservant my in bosom your and she has seen that she had conceived and I have become insignificant in eyes her may he judge Yahweh between me and between you.

6 Abrami iu përgjegj Sarajt: “Ja, shërbyesja jote është në dorën tënde; bëj me të ç’të duash”. Atëherë Saraj e trajtoi në mënyrë të ashpër dhe ajo iku nga prania e saj.

And he said Abram to Sarai there! maidservant your [is] in hand your do to her the good in eyes your and she afflicted her Sarai and she fled from before her.

7 Por Engjëlli i Zotit e gjeti pranë një burimi uji në shkretëtirë, pranë burimit në rrugën e Shurit,

And he found her [the] angel of Yahweh at [the] spring of water in the wilderness at the spring on [the] way of Shur.

8 dhe i tha: “Agar, shërbyesja e Sarajt, nga vjen dhe ku po shkon?” Ajo u përgjigj: “Po iki nga prania e zonjës sime Saraj”.

And he said O Hagar [the] maidservant of Sarai where? from this have you come and where? are you going and she said from before Sarai mistress my I [am] fleeing.

9 Atëherë Engjëlli i Zotit i tha: “Kthehu tek zonja jote dhe nënshtroju autoritetit të saj”.

And he said to her [the] angel of Yahweh return to mistress your and humble yourself under hands her.

10 Pastaj Engjëlli i Zotit shtoi: “Unë do t’i shumëzoj fort pasardhësit e tu aq sa të mos mund të llogariten për shkak të numrit të tyre të madh”.

And he said to her [the] angel of Yahweh certainly I will increase offspring your and not it will be counted from multitude.

11 Engjëlli i Zotit i tha akoma: “Ja, ti je me barrë dhe do të lindësh një djalë dhe do ta quash Ismael, sepse Zoti mori parasysh hidhërimin tënd;

And he said to her [the] angel of Yahweh here you [are] pregnant and you will bear a son and you will call name his Ishmael for he has listened Yahweh to affliction your.

12 ai do të jetë ndërmjet njerëzve si një gomar i egër; dora e tij do të jetë kundër të gjithëve dhe dora e të gjithëve kundër tij; dhe do të banojë në prani të të gjithë vëllezërve të tij”.

And he he will be a wild donkey of a man hand his [will be] on everyone and [the] hand of everyone [will be] on him and on [the] face of all brothers his he will dwell.

13 Atëherë Agari thirri emrin e Zotit që i kishte folur: “Ti je El-Roi”, sepse tha: “A e pashë me të vërtetë atë që më shikon?”.

And she called [the] name of Yahweh who spoke to her you [are] a God of seeing for she said ¿ also here have I seen [the] back of [the] [one who] sees me.

14 Prandaj ai pus u quajt “Pusi i Lahai-Roit”. Ja, ai ndodhet midis Kadeshit dhe Beredit.

There-fore someone called the well Beer Lahai Roi there! [it is] between Kadesh and between Bered.

15 Kështu Agari i lindi një djalë Abramit; dhe Abrami i vuri djalit që Agari kishte lindur emrin Ismael.

And she bore Hagar to Abram a son and he called Abram [the] name of son his whom she had borne Hagar Ishmael.

16 Abrami ishte tetëdhjetë e gjashtë vjeç, kur Agari lindi Ismaelin për Abramin.

And Abram [was] a son of eighty year[s] and six years when bore Hagar Ishmael to Abram.
