Galatasve 2

1 Pastaj, pas katërmbëdhjetë vjetësh, u ngjita përsëri në Jeruzalem me Barnabën; dhe mora me vete edhe Titin.

Then after fourteen years again I went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas (having taken with [me] *NK+o) also Titus;

2 Dhe u ngjita sipas një zbulese dhe u shtjellova atyre ungjillin që unë po predikoj ndër johebrenjtë, por në mënyrë të veçantë, atyre që kishin më shumë emër, që të mos bridhja ose vrapoja më kot.

I went up now according to a revelation and set before them the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles — apart privately however to those esteemed — lest perhaps in vain I may be running or have run.

3 Por as Titi që ishte me mua, ndonëse ishte Grek, nuk qe shtrënguar që të rrethpritej;

But not even Titus who [was] with me myself, a Greek being, was compelled to be circumcised;

4 edhe kjo për shkak të vëllezërve të rremë, që kishin hyrë tinëz, që kishin depërtuar për të përgjuar lirinë tonë që kemi në Krishtin Jezu, që të na robërojnë.

because of even the brought in secretly false brothers, who came in by stealth to spy out the freedom of us which we have in Christ Jesus, that us (they will enslave, *N+kO)

5 Këtyre ne nuk iu nënshtruam as edhe për një moment, që e vërteta e ungjillit të mbetej e pacënuar te ju.

to whom not even for an hour did we yield in subjection, so that the truth of the gospel may continue with you.

6 Por nga ana e atyre që gëzonin një farë kredie (nuk ka rëndësi se kush ishin, Perëndia nuk shikon dukjen e njeriut), pra, ata që gëzonin kredinë më të madhe nuk shtuan gjë tek unë.

Of now those esteemed to be something — whatsoever formerly they were no [thing] to me makes a difference; [the] face God of a man not does take [account of]; to me myself for the esteemed no [thing] added,

7 Madje, duke parë se mua m’u besua ungjilli për të parrethprerët, sikurse Pjetrit ai për të rrethprerët,

But on the contrary, having seen that I have been entrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision even as Peter [with that] of the circumcision

8 (sepse ai që kishte vepruar në mënyrë të fuqishme në Pjetrin për apostullim tek të rrethprerëve, kishte vepruar në mënyrë të fuqishme edhe në mua për johebrenjtë),

the [One] for having worked in Peter for apostleship of the circumcision did also in me myself toward the Gentiles —

9 duke njohur hirin që m’u dha, Jakobi, Kefa dhe Gjoni, të cilët i konsideronin shtylla, më dhanë mua dhe Barnabës të djathtat e tyre si shenjë shoqërie, që të shkonim ne ndër johebrenjtë dhe ata ndër të rrethprerë.

and having known the grace which having been given to me, James and Cephas and John, those esteemed pillars to be, [the] right hands gave to me myself and to Barnabas of fellowship, that we ourselves [should go] (indeed *o) to the Gentiles, they however to the circumcision,

10 Vetëm na porositën që të kujtoheshim për të varfrit, pikërisht atë që edhe unë e kisha ndërmend ta bëja.

Only [they asked] the poor that we may remember; that also I was eager [the] same thing to do.

11 Por kur erdhi Pjetri në Antioki, unë e kundërshtova në sy, sepse ishte për t’u qortuar.

When however came (Peter *N+kO) to Antioch, to face his I opposed [him], because condemned he was standing.

12 Në fakt, para se të vinin disa njerëz nga ana e Jakobit, ai hante me johebrenjtë; po, kur erdhën ata, ai u tërhoq dhe u nda, duke druajtur ata të rrethprerjes.

Before for to come certain ones from James with the Gentiles he was eating; when however (they came, *NK+O) he was drawing back and he was separating himself being afraid of those of [the] circumcision;

13 Edhe Judenj të tjerë shtireshin bashkë me të, aq sa edhe Barnaba u tërhoq nga hipokrizia e tyre.

And acted hypocritically with him also the rest of [the] Jews so that even Barnabas was carried away of them by the hypocrisy.

14 Po kur unë pashë se ata nuk ecnin drejt sipas së vërtetës së ungjillit, i thashë Pjetrit përpara të gjithëve: “Në qoftë se ti, që je Jude, rron porsi johebrenjtë dhe jo si Judenjtë, pse i detyron johebrenjtë të rrojnë si Judenj?”.

But when I saw that not they are walking uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said (to Peter *N+kO) before all; If you yourself a Jew being like a Gentile and (not *N+kO) like a Jew live, (why *N+kO) the Gentiles do you compel to Judaize?

15 Ne, që jemi Judenj nga lindja dhe jo mëkatarë në mes johebrenjsh,

We ourselves by birth Jews and not of [the] Gentiles sinners;

16 duke ditur se njeriu nuk shfajësohet me anë të veprave të ligjit, por me anë të besimit në Jezu Krishtin, besuam edhe ne në Jezu Krishtin, që të shfajësoheshim me anë të besimit në Krishtin dhe jo me anë të veprave të ligjit, sepse asnjë mish nuk do të shfajësohet me anë të veprave të ligjit.

knowing (then *no) that not is justified a man by works of law only except through faith from Jesus Christ even we ourselves in Christ Jesus believed, that we may be justified by faith from Christ and not by works of the Law; (since *N+kO) by works of the Law not will be justified any flesh.

17 Dhe, në qoftë se duke kërkuar të shfajësohemi në Krishtin, u gjetëm edhe ne mëkatarë, mos vallë Krishti qënka shërbenjës i mëkatit. Kurrsesi jo!

If however seeking to be justified in Christ have been found also we ourselves sinners, surely not [is] Christ of sin a minister? Never would it be!

18 Sepse, në qoftë se unë ndërtoj përsëri ato gjërat që prisha, unë bëhem vetë shkelës,

If for that I had torn down, these things again I build, a transgressor myself I prove;

19 sepse përmes ligjit, vdiqa për ligjin, që unë të rroj për Perëndinë.

I myself for through [the] Law to [the] Law died, that to God I may live.

20 Unë u kryqëzova bashkë me Krishtin dhe nuk rroj më unë, po Krishti rron në mua; dhe ajo jetë që tani jetoj në mish, e jetoj në besimin e Birit të Perëndisë, që më deshi dhe dha veten për mua.

to Christ I have been crucified with; I live now no longer no longer I myself, lives however in me myself Christ; that which then now I live in [the] flesh, through faith I live that from the Son of God (and Christ *O) the [One who] having loved me and having given up Himself for me.

21 Unë nuk e hedh poshtë hirin e Perëndisë sepse, në qoftë se drejtësia vjen me anë të ligjit, atëherë Krishti ka vdekur më kot.

Not I do set aside the grace of God; if for through [the] Law righteousness [is], then Christ for naught died.
