Galatasve 1
1 Pali, apostull (jo nga njerëzit, as me anë të njeriut, por nëpërmjet Jezu Krishtit dhe Perëndisë Atit, që e ringjalli prej së vdekurish),
Pavl an Apostle (not of men, neither by man, but by Iesus Christ, and God the Father which hath raised him from the dead)
2 dhe gjithë vëllezërit që janë me mua, kishave të Galatisë:
And all the brethren which are with me, vnto the Churches of Galatia:
3 Paçi hir e paqe nga Perëndia Ati dhe nga Zoti ynë Jezu Krishti,
Grace be with you, and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Iesus Christ,
4 që e dha veten e tij për mëkatet tona, për të na shpëtuar nga kjo kohë e mbrapshtë, sipas vullnetit të Perëndisë, Atit tonë, (aiōn g165)
Which gaue himself for our sinnes, that he might deliuer vs from this present euill world according to the will of God euen our Father, (aiōn g165)
To whom be glory for euer and euer, Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Çuditëm që kaluat kaq shpejt nga ai që ju thirri ju me anë të hirit të Krishtit, në një ungjill tjetër,
I marueile that ye are so soone remoued away vnto another Gospel, from him that had called you in the grace of Christ,
7 i cili nuk është tjetër; por ka disa njerëz që ju turbullojnë dhe që duan ta shtrëmbërojnë ungjillin e Krishtit.
Which is not another Gospel, saue that there be some which trouble you, and intend to peruert the Gospel of Christ.
8 Por, edhe sikur ne ose një engjëll i qiellit t’ju predikonte një ungjill të ndryshëm nga ai që ju kemi predikuar, qoftë i mallkuar.
But though that we, or an Angel from heauen preach vnto you otherwise, then that which we haue preached vnto you, let him be accursed.
9 Ashtu si e thamë më përpara, po e them përsëri: Në qoftë se dikush ju predikon një ungjill tjetër nga ai që keni marrë, qoftë i mallkuar.
As we sayd before, so say I now againe, If any man preach vnto you otherwise, then that ye haue receiued, let him be accursed.
10 Sepse unë tani vallë kërkoj të fitoj miratimin e njerëzve apo të Perëndisë? Apo kërkoj t’u pëlqej njerëzve? Sepse, po të kërkoja t’u pëlqej njerëzve, nuk do të isha shërbëtori i Krishtit.
For nowe preach I mans doctrine, or Gods? or go I about to please men? for if I should yet please men, I were not the seruant of Christ.
11 Tani, o vëllezër, po ju vë në dijeni se ungjilli që është shpallur nga unë, nuk është sipas njeriut,
Now I certifie you, brethren, that ye Gospel which was preached of me, was not after man.
12 sepse unë nuk e kam marrë as e kam mësuar nga ndonjë njeri, por e kam marrë nëpërmjet një zbulese nga Jezu Krishti.
For neither receiued I it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the reuelation of Iesus Christ.
13 Sepse ju keni dëgjuar për sjelljen time të atëhershme në judaizëm, si e përndiqja me egërsi të madhe kishën e Perëndisë dhe e shkatërroja.
For ye haue heard of my conuersation in time past, in the Iewish religion, how that I persecuted the Church of God extremely, and wasted it,
14 Dhe si përparoja në judaizëm më tepër se shumë bashkëkohës të kombit tim, duke qenë jashtëzakonisht i zellshëm për traditat e etërve të mi.
And profited in the Iewish religion aboue many of my companions of mine owne nation, and was much more zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
15 Po, kur i pëlqeu Perëndisë, që më kishte ndarë që nga barku i nënës dhe më thirri me anë të hirit të tij,
But when it pleased God (which had separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by his grace)
16 që të zbulojë në mua Birin e tij, që unë t’ua shpall midis joçifutëve, unë nuk mora menjëherë këshill nga mish dhe gjak,
To reueile his Sonne in me, that I should preach him among the Gentiles, immediatly I communicated not with flesh and blood:
17 as nuk u ngjita në Jeruzalem tek ata që ishin apostuj përpara meje, por shkova në Arabi dhe u ktheva përsëri në Damask.
Neither came I againe to Hierusalem to them which were Apostles before me, but I went into Arabia, and turned againe vnto Damascus.
18 Pastaj, pas tre vjetësh, u ngjita në Jeruzalem për të takuar Pjetrin dhe ndenja me të pesëmbëdhjetë ditë.
Then after three yeeres I came againe to Hierusalem to visite Peter, and abode with him fifteene dayes.
19 Dhe nuk pashë asnjë nga apostujt e tjerë, përveç Jakobit, vëllait të Zotit.
And none other of the Apostles sawe I, saue Iames the Lords brother.
20 Dhe në këto që po ju shkruaj, ja, përpara Perëndisë, nuk gënjej.
Nowe the things which I write vnto you, beholde, I witnes before God, that I lie not.
21 Pastaj shkova në krahinat e Sirisë dhe të Kilikisë.
After that, I went into the coastes of Syria and Cilicia:
22 Por unë personalisht isha i panjohur nga kishat e Judesë, që janë në Krisht,
for I was vnknowen by face vnto the Churches of Iudea, which were in Christ.
23 po ato kishin dëgjuar vetëm: “Ai që na persekutonte më përpara, tani po shpall atë besim që ai shkatërronte”,
But they had heard onely some say, Hee which persecuted vs in time past, nowe preacheth the faith which before he destroyed.
24 dhe përlëvdonin Perëndinë për shkakun tim.
And they glorified God for me.
