Esdra 1
1 Në vitin e parë të Kirit, mbretit të Persisë, me qëllim që të realizohej fjala e Zotit që u shqiptua nga goja e Jeremias, Zoti nxiti frymën e Kirit, mbretit të Persisë, të nxirrte një dekret për të
In the firste yeer of Cirus, kyng of Persis, that the word of the Lord bi the mouth of Jeremye schulde be fillid, the Lord reiside the spirit of Cyrus, kyng of Persis; and he pupplischide a vois in al his rewme, ye, bi the scripture, and seide, Cirus,
2 “Kështu thotë Kiri, mbret i Persisë: Zoti, Perëndia i qiejve, më ka dhënë tërë mbretëritë e dheut. Ai më ka urdhëruar t’i ndërtoj një shtëpi në Jeruzalem, që është në Judë.
the kyng of Persis, seith these thingis, The Lord God of heuene yaf to me alle the rewmes of erthe, and he comaundide to me, that Y schulde bilde to hym an hows in Jerusalem, which is in Judee.
3 Kush nga ju i përket popullit të tij? Zoti, Perëndia i tij, qoftë me të; le të shkojë në Jeruzalem, që ndodhet në Judë, dhe të rindërtojë shtëpinë e Zotit, Perëndisë të Izraelit, Perëndia që është në Jeruzalem.
Who is among you of al his puple? his God be with hym; stie he in to Jerusalem, which is in Judee, and bilde he the hows of the Lord God of Israel; he is God, which is in Jerusalem.
4 Njerëzia e çdo vendi, ku ndonjë jude që ka shpëtuar banon ende, ta furnizojë atë me argjend, me ar, me të mira dhe me bagëti përveç ofertave vullnetare për shtëpinë e Perëndisë që është në Jeruzalem”.
And alle othere men, `that dwellen where euere in alle places, helpe hym; the men of her place helpe in siluer, and gold, and catel, and scheep, outakun that that thei offren wilfulli to the temple of God, which is in Jerusalem.
5 Atëherë kryetarët e familjeve të Judës dhe të Beniaminit, priftërinjtë dhe Levitët, bashkë me ata të cilëve Perëndia u kishte zgjuar frymën, u ngritën për të shkuar të rindërtojnë shtëpinë e Zotit që është në Jeruzalem.
And the princis of fadris of Juda and of Beniamyn risiden, and the preestis, and dekenes, and ech man whos spirit God reiside, for to stie to bilde the temple of the Lord, that was in Jerusalem.
6 Tërë fqinjët e tyre i ndihmuan me sende argjendi, ari, me të mira, me bagëti dhe me gjëra të çmuara përveç gjithë ofertave vullnetare.
And alle men that weren `in cumpas helpiden the hondis of hem, in vesselis of siluer, and of gold, `in catel, in purtenaunce of houshold, and in alle werk beestis, outakun these thingis which thei offriden bi fre wille.
7 Edhe mbreti Kir nxorri jashtë veglat e shtëpisë të Zotit që Nebukadnetsari kishte marrë me vete nga Jeruzalemi dhe i kishte vënë në tempullin e perëndisë të tij.
Forsothe kyng Cyrus brouyte forth the vessels of the temple of the Lord, whiche Nabugodonosor hadde take fro Jerusalem, and hadde set tho in the temple of his god.
8 Kiri, mbret i Persisë, i nxorri jashtë me anë të Mithredathit, përgjegjësit të thesarit, dhe i numëroi përpara Sheshbatsarit, princit të Judës.
Sotheli Cyrus, the kyng of Persis, brouyte forth tho bi the hond of Mytridatis, sone of Gazabar; and noumbride tho to Sasabazar, the prince of Juda.
9 Ja numri i tyre: tridhjetë legena prej ari, një mijë legena prej argjendi, njëzet e nëntë thika,
And this is the noumbre of tho vessels; goldun violis, thritti; siluerne viols, a thousynde; `grete knyues, nyne and twenti; goldun cuppis, thritti; siluerne cuppis,
10 tridhjetë kupa ari, katërqind e dhjetë kupa argjendi të dorës së dytë dhe një mijë veglat të tjera.
two thousynde foure hundrid and ten; othere vessels, a thousynde;
11 Tërë sendet prej ari dhe argjendi ishin pesë mijë e katërqind. Sheshbatsari i solli të gjitha, bashkë me të mërguarit që u kthyen nga Babilonia në Jeruzalem.
