Esdra 2
1 Këta janë njerëzit e provincës që u kthyen nga robëria, midis atyre që Nebukadnetsari, mbret i Babilonisë, kishte çuar në robëri në Babiloni, dhe që u kthyen në Jeruzalem dhe në Judë, secili në qytetin e tij.
These also are the sonnes of the prouince, that went vp out of the captiuitie (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caried away vnto Babel) and returned to Ierusalem, and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie,
2 Ata që erdhën me Zorobabelin ishin Jeshua, Nehemia, Serajahu, Relajahu, Mardokeo, Bilshani, Mispari, Bigvai, Rehumi dhe Baanahu.
Which came with Zerubbabel, to wit, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Biguai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was,
3 Bijtë e Paroshit, dy mijë e njëqind e shtatëdhjetë e dy.
The sonnes of Parosh, two thousand, an hudreth seuentie and two:
4 Bijtë e Shefatiahut, treqind e shtatëdhjetë e dy.
The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth, seuentie and two:
5 Bijtë e Arahut, shtatëqind e shtatëdhjetë e pesë.
The sonnes of Arah, seuen hundreth, and seuentie and fiue:
6 Bijtë e Pahath-Moabit, pasardhës të Jeshuas dhe të Joabit, dy mijë e tetëqind e dymbëdhjetë.
The sonnes of Pahath Moab, of the sonnes of Ieshua and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and twelue:
7 Bijtë e Elamit, një mijë e dyqind e pesëdhjetë e katër.
The sonnes of Elam, a thousande, two hundreth and foure and fiftie:
8 Bijtë e Zatuit, nëntëqind e dyzet e pesë.
The sonnes of Zattu, nine hundreth and fiue and fourtie:
9 Bijtë e Zakait, shtatëqind e gjashtëdhjetë.
The sonnes of Zaccai, seuen hundreth and threescore:
10 Bijtë e Banit, gjashtëqind e dyzet e dy.
The sonnes of Bani, sixe hundreth and two and fourtie:
11 Bijtë e Bebait, gjashtëqind e njëzet e tre.
The sonnes of Bebai, sixe hundreth, and three and twentie:
12 Bijtë e Azgadit, një mijë e dyqind e njëzet e dy.
The sonnes of Azgad a thousand, two hundreth and two and twentie:
13 Bijtë e Adonikamit, gjashtëqind e gjashtëdhjetë e gjashtë.
The sonnes of Adonikam, sixe hundreth, three score and sixe:
14 Bijtë e Bigvait, dy mijë e pesëdhjetë e gjashtë.
The sonnes of Biguai, two thousand, and sixe and fiftie:
15 Bijtë e Adinit, katërqind e pesëdhjetë e katër.
The sonnes of Adin, foure hundreth and foure and fiftie:
16 Bijtë e Aterit, domethënë të Ezekias, nëntëdhjetë e tetë.
The sonnes of Ater of Hizkiah, ninetie and eight:
17 Bijtë e Betsait, treqind e njëzet e tre.
The sonnes of Bezai, three hundreth and three and twentie:
18 Bijtë e Jorahut, njëqind e dymbëdhjetë.
The sonnes of Iorah, an hudreth and twelue:
19 Bijtë e Hashumit, dyqind e njëzet e tre.
The sonnes of Hasshum, two hundreth and three and twentie:
20 Bijtë e Gibarit, nëntëdhjetë e pesë.
The sonnes of Gibbar, ninetie and fiue:
21 Bijtë e Betlemit, njëqind e njëzet e tre.
The sonnes of Beth-lehem, an hundreth and three and twentie:
22 Burrat e Netofahut, pesëdhjetë e gjashtë.
The men of Netophah, sixe and fiftie:
23 Burrat e Anathothit, njëqind e njëzet e tetë.
The men of Anothoth, an hundreth and eight and twentie:
24 Burrat e Azmavethit, dyzet e dy.
The sonnes of Azmaueth, two and fourtie:
25 Burrat e Kirjath-Arimit, të Kefirahut dhe të Beerothit, shtatëqind e dyzet e tre.
The sonnes of Kiriath-arim, of Chephirah, and Beeroth, seuen hundreth and three and fourtie:
26 Burrat e Ramahut dhe të Gebës, gjashtëqind e njëzet e një.
The sonnes of Haramah and Gaba, six hundreth, and one and twentie:
27 Burrat e Mikmasit, njëqind e njëzet e dy.
The men of Michmas, an hundreth and two and twentie:
28 Burrat e Bethelit dhe të Ait, dyqind e njëzet e tre.
The sonnes of Beth-el and Ai, two hundreth, and three and twentie:
29 Bijtë e Nebos, pesëdhjetë e dy.
The sonnes of Nebo, two and fiftie:
30 Bijtë e Magbishit, njëqind e pesëdhjetë e gjashtë.
The sonnes of Magbish, an hundreth and sixe and fiftie:
31 Bijtë e një Elami tjetër, një mijë e dyqind e pesëdhjetë e katër.
The sonnes of the other Elam, a thousand, and two hundreth, and foure and fiftie:
32 Bijtë e Harimit, treqind e njëzet.

33 Bijtë e Lodit, të Hadidit dhe të Onos, shtatëqind e njëzet e pesë.

34 Bijtë e Jerikos, treqind e dyzet e pesë.
The sonnes of Iericho, three hundreth and fiue and fourtie:
35 Bijtë e Senaahut, tre mijë e gjashtëqind e tridhjetë.
The sonnes of Senaah, three thousand, sixe hundreth and thirtie.
36 Priftërinjtë: bijtë e Jedajahut, nga shtëpia e Jeshuas, nëntëqind e shtatëdhjetë e tre.
The Priests: of the sonnes of Iedaiah of the house of Ieshua, nine hundreth seuentie and three:
37 Bijtë e Imerit, një mijë e pesëdhjetë e dy.

41 Këngëtarët: bijtë e Asafit, njëqind e njëzet e tetë.

42 Bijtë e derëtarëve: bijtë e Shalumit, bijtë e Aterit, bijtë e Talmonit, bijtë e Akubit, bijtë e Hatitas, bijtë e Shobait, gjithsej njëqind e tridhjetë e nëntë.

The sonnes of Salomons seruantes: the sonnes of Sotai, the sonnes of Sophereth, the sonnes of Peruda,
56 bijtë e Jaalas, bijtë e Darkonit, bijtë e Gidelit,
The sonnes of Iaalah, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
57 bijtë e Shefatiahut, bijtë e Hatilit, bijtë e Pokereth-Hatsebaimit, bijtë e Amit.
The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth Hazzebaim, the sonnes of Ami.
58 Tërë Nethinejtë dhe bijtë e shërbëtorëve të Salomonit ishin treqind e nëntëdhjetë e dy.
All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants were three hundreth ninetie and two.
59 Këta qenë ata që u kthyen nga Tel-Melahu, nga Tel-Harsha, nga Kerub-Adani dhe nga Imeri; por ata nuk qenë në gjendje të tregonin shtëpinë e tyre atërore dhe pasardhësit e tyre, për të provuar në se ishin nga Izraeli;
And these went vp from Telmelah, and from Telharsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not discerne their fathers house and their seede, whether they were of Israel.
60 bijtë e Delajahut, bijtë e Tobiahut, bijtë e Nekodas, gjithsej gjashtëqind e pesëdhjetë e dy.

61 Midis bijve të priftërinjve: bijtë e Habajahut, bijtë e Hakotsit, bijtë e Barzilait, që kishte për grua një nga bijat e Barzilait, Galaaditit, dhe që u quajt me emrin e tyre.
And of the sonnes of the Priestes, the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Coz, the sonnes of Barzillai: which tooke of the daughters of Barzillai the Giliadite to wife, and was called after their name.
62 Këta kërkuan listën e tyre midis atyre të regjistruar në gjenealogjitë, por nuk e gjetën; prandaj u përjashtuan nga priftëria si të papastër.
These sought their writing of the genealogies, but they were not founde: therefore were they put from the Priesthood.
63 Qeveritari i urdhëroi ata të mos hanin asgjë nga gjërat shumë të shenjta deri sa të mos paraqitej një prift me Urim dhe Thumim.
And Tirshatha saide vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy thing, tell there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.
64 Tërë asambleja përbëhej nga dyzet e dy mijë e treqind e gjashtëdhjetë veta.
The whole Congregation together was two and fourtie thousande, three hundreth and threescore,
65 Pa llogaritur shërbëtorët dhe shërbëtoret e tyre, që arrinin shtatë mijë e treqind e tridhjetë e shtatë; midis tyre kishte gjithashtu dyqind këngëtarë dhe këngëtare.
Beside their seruants and their maydes: of whome were seuen thousande, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and among them were two hundreth singing men and singing women.
66 Ata kishin shtatëqind e tridhjetë e gjashtë kuaj, dyqind e dyzet e pesë mushka,
Their horses were seuen hundreth, and sixe and thirtie: their mules, two hundreth and fiue and fourtie:
67 katërqind e tridhjetë e pesë deve dhe gjashtë mijë e shtatëqind e njëzet gomarë.
Their camels foure hundreth, and fiue and thirtie: their asses, sixe thousand, seuen hundreth and twentie.
68 Disa të parë të shtëpive atërore, kur arritën në shtëpinë e Zotit që është në Jeruzalem, dhanë bujarisht dhurata për shtëpinë e Perëndisë, në mënyrë që ajo të ngrihej përsëri në vendin e mëparshëm.
And certeine of the chiefe fathers, when they came to the house of the Lord, which was in Ierusalem, they offred willingly for the house of God, to set it vp vpon his fundation.
69 I dhanë thesarit të veprës, sipas mjeteve të tyre, gjashtëdhjetë e një mijë darikë ari, pesë mijë mina argjendi dhe njëqind veshje prifti.
They gaue after their abilitie vnto the treasure of the worke, euen one and threescore thousand drammes of golde, and fiue thousand pieces of siluer, and an hundreth Priests garments.
70 Kështu priftërinjtë, Levitët, njerëzit e popullit, këngëtarët, derëtarët dhe Nethinejtë, u vendosën në qytetet e tyre, dhe gjithë Izraelitët në qytetet e tyre.
So the Priests and the Leuites, and a certeine of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
