Ezekieli 38

1 Fjala e Zotit m’u drejtua, duke thënë:

And the word of the Lord was maad to me,

2 “Bir njeriu, kthe fytyrën tënde drejt Gogut të vendit të Magogut, princ i Roshit, i Meshekut dhe i Tubalit, dhe profetizo kundër tij,

and he seide, Thou, sone of man, Sette thi face ayens Gog, and ayens the lond of Magog, the prince of the heed of Mosoch and of Tubal; and profesie thou of hym.

3 dhe thuaj: Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: Ja, unë jam kundër teje, o Gog, princ i Roshit, i Meshekut dhe i Tubalit.

And thou schalt seie to hym, The Lord God seith these thingis, A! Gog, lo! Y to thee, prince of the heed of Mosoch and of Tubal;

4 Unë do të të kthej prapa, do të vë çengela në nofullat e tua dhe do të të nxjerr me gjithë ushtrinë tënde, me kuaj dhe kalorës, të gjithë të veshur shkëlqyeshëm, një turmë e madhe me mburoja të mëdha dhe të vogla, me shpatë në dorë,

and Y schal lede thee aboute, and Y schal sette a bridil in thi chekis, and Y schal leede out thee, and al thin oost, horsis, and horsmen, alle clothid with haburiouns, a greet multitude of men, takynge spere, and scheeld, and swerd.

5 dhe me ta Persia, Etiopia dhe Puti, të gjithë me mburoja dhe përkrenare.

Perseis, Ethiopiens, and Libiens with hem, alle ben araied with scheeldis and helmes.

6 Gomeri dhe tërë ushtarët e tij, shtëpia e Togarmahut, pjesët skajore të veriut dhe të gjithë ushtarët e tij, shumë popuj janë me ty.

Gomer, and alle the cumpenyes of hym, the hous of Togorma, the sidis of the north, and al the strengthe therof, and many puplis ben with thee.

7 Përgatitu dhe ji gati, ti dhe gjithë turmat e tua të mbledhura rreth teje, dhe ji roje për ta.

Make redi, and araye thee, and al thi multitude which is gaderid to thee, and be thou in to comaundement to hem.

8 Mbas shumë ditësh ti do të ndëshkohesh. Në vitet e fundit do të sulesh kundër vendit që nuk iu shmang shpatës, banorët e të cilit janë mbledhur nga shumë popuj, në malet e Izraelit, që kanë qenë për shumë kohë një shkreti; tani ata, të nxjerrë nga popujt, do të banojnë të gjithë të sigurt.

Aftir many daies thou schalt be visitid, in the laste of yeeris thou schalt come to the lond, that turnede ayen fro swerd, and was gaderid of many puplis, to the hillis of Israel that weren desert ful ofte; this was led out of puplis, and alle men dwellide tristili ther ynne.

9 Ti do të ngjitesh, do të vish si një tufan, do të jesh si një re që mbulon vendin, ti me gjithë trupat e tua dhe shumë popuj bashkë me ty”.

Forsothe thou schalt stie, and schalt come as a tempest, and as a cloude, for to hile the lond, thou, and alle thi cumpanyes, and many puplis with thee.

10 Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: “Atë ditë do të ndodhë që do të të vijnë në mendje projekte dhe do të hartosh një plan të keq.

The Lord God seith these thingis, In that dai wordis schulen stie on thin herte, and thou schalt thenke the worste thouyt;

11 Do të thuash: “Unë do të dal kundër këtij vendi fshatrash pa mure, do të nisem kundër njerëzve të qetë që banojnë të sigurt, që qëndrojnë të gjithë në vende pa mure dhe nuk kanë as shula as porta”,

and schalt seie, Y schal stie to the lond with out wal, and Y schal come to hem that resten and dwellen sikirli; alle these dwellen with out wal, barris and yatis ben not to hem;

12 për të plaçkitur dhe për të bërë pre, për të shtrirë dorën tënde kundër vendeve të shkretuara, por tani të ripopulluara dhe kundër një populli të mbledhur midis kombeve, që i ka siguruar vetes kafshë, pasuri dhe banesë në lartësitë e vendit.

that thou rauysche spuylis, and asaile prei; that thou brynge in thin hond on hem that weren forsakun, and afterward restorid, and on the puple which is gaderid of hethene men, that bigan to welde, and to be enhabitere of the nawle of erthe.

13 Sheba, Dedani, tregtarët e Tershishit dhe tërë luanët e vegjël do të pyesin: “Ke ardhur për të plaçkitur? Ke mbledhur turmën tënde për të bërë plaçkë, për të marrë argjendin dhe arin, për të marrë kafshët dhe pasuritë, për të bërë një plaçkë të madhe?”.

Saba, and Dedan, and the marchauntis of Tharsis, and alle the liouns therof schulen seie to thee, Whether thou comest to take spuylis? Lo! to rauysche prey thou hast gaderid thi multitude, that thou take awei gold and siluer, and do awei purtenaunce of houshold and catel, and that thou rauysche preyes with out noumbre.

14 Prandaj, bir njeriu, profetizo dhe i thuaj Gogut: Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: Atë ditë, kur populli im i Izraelit do të jetë i sigurtë, a nuk do ta dish ti?

Therfor profesie thou, sone of man; and thou schalt seie to Gog, The Lord God seith these thingis, Whether not in that dai, whanne my puple Israel schal dwelle tristili, thou schalt wite;

15 Do të vish nga banesa jote, nga skajet e veriut, ti dhe shumë popuj me ty, të gjithë të hipur mbi kuaj, një turmë e madhe dhe një ushtri e fuqishme.

and schalt come fro thi place, fro the sidis of the north, thou, and many puplis with thee, alle stieris of horsis, a greet cumpany, and an huge oost;

16 Do të dalësh kundër popullit tim të Izraelit, si një re që mbulon vendin. Kjo ka për të ndodhur ditët e fundit: do të të çoj kundër vendit tim me qëllim që kombet të më njohin, kur të shenjtërohem te ti përpara syve të tyre, o Gog”.

and thou as a cloude schalt stie on my puple Israel, that thou hile the erthe? Thou schalt be in the laste daies, and Y schal brynge thee on my lond, that my folkis wite, whanne Y schal be halewid in thee, thou Gog, bifor the iyen of them.

17 Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: “A nuk je ti ai për të cilin fola në kohët e lashta me anë të shërbëtorëve të mi, profetët e Izraelit, të cilët për vite me radhë profetizuan ato ditë që do të të kisha sjellë kundër tyre?

The Lord God seith these thingis, Therfor thou art he of whom Y spak in elde daies, in the hond of my seruauntis, profetis of Israel, that profesieden in the daies of tho tymes, that Y schulde bringe thee on hem.

18 Por do të ndodhë që po atë ditë, ditën kur Gogu do të vijë kundër tokës së Izraelit”, thotë Zoti, Zoti, “që tërbimi im do të më hipë në vrimat e hundës.

And it schal be, in that dai, in the dai of the comyng of Gog on the lond of Israel, seith the Lord God, myn indignacioun schal stie in my strong veniaunce, and in my feruour;

19 Në xhelozinë time dhe në zjarrin e zemërimit tim, unë deklaroj se atë ditë do të ketë një tronditje të madhe në vendin e Izraelit:

Y spak in the fier of my wraththe.

20 përpara meje do të dridhen peshqit e detit, shpendët e qiellit, kafshët e fushës, të gjithë rreshqanorët që zvarriten mbi tokë dhe të gjithë njerëzit që janë mbi faqen e dheut; malet do të shemben, vendet e rrëpirta do të rrëzohen dhe të gjitha muret do të bien për tokë.

For in that dai schal be grete mouyng on the lond of Israel; and fischis of the see, and beestis of erthe, and briddis of the eir, and ech crepynge beeste which is mouyd on erthe, and alle men that ben on the face of erthe, schulen be mouyd fro my face; and hillis schulen be vndurturned, and heggis schulen falle doun, and ech wal schal falle doun in to erthe.

21 Unë do të thërras kundër tij shpatën mbi të gjitha malet e mia”, thotë Zoti, Zoti; shpata e secilit do të drejtohet kundër vëllait të vet.

And Y schal clepe togidere a swerd ayens hym in alle myn hillis, seith the Lord God; the swerd of ech man schal be dressid ayens his brother.

22 Do të ekzekutoj vendimin tim mbi të me murtajë dhe me gjak do të bëj të reshë mbi të, mbi ushtrinë e tij dhe mbi shumë popuj që janë bashkë me të, një shi që zhurin, gurë prej akulli, zjarr dhe squfur.

And thanne Y schal deme hym bi pestilence, and blood, and greet reyn, and bi greet stoonys; Y schal reyn fier and brymstoon on hym, and on his oost, and on many puplis that ben with hym.

23 Kështu do të lartësohem dhe do të shenjtërohem dhe do të bëhem i njohur në sytë e shumë kombeve, dhe do të pranojnë se unë jam Zoti”.

And Y schal be magnefied, and Y shal be halewid, and Y shal be knowun bifore the iyen of many folkis; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
