Ezekieli 27
1 Fjala e Zotit m’u drejtua, duke thënë:
And the word of the Lord came to me saying,
2 “Ti, bir njeriu, ngri për Tiron një vajtim,
And thou, son of man, take up a lamentation against Sor;
3 dhe i thuaj Tiros: O ti që je vendosur në hyrje të detit, ti që bën tregti me popujt në shumë ishuj, kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: O Tiro, ti ke thënë: “Unë jam i një bukurie të përsosur”.
and thou shalt say to Sor that dwells at the entrance of the sea, to the mart of the nations coming from many islands, Thus saith the Lord to Sor; Thou hast said, I have clothed myself with my beauty.
4 Kufijtë e tu janë në zemër të deteve; ndërtuesit e tu të kanë dhënë një bukuri të përsosur.
In the heart of the sea thy sons have put beauty upon thee for Beelim.
5 E kanë bërë tërë lëndën e anijeve të tua me qipariset e Senirit, kanë marrë kedra të Libanit për të bërë direkun tënd kryesor;
Cedar in Senir was employed for thee in building: boards of cypress timber were taken out of Libanus, and wood to make thee masts of fir.
6 dhe i kanë bërë lopatat e tua me lis të Bashanit, e kanë bërë urën tënde me dru pylli të inkrustuar me fildish të sjellë nga ishujtë e Kitimit.
They made thine oars [of wood] out of the land of Basan; thy sacred utensils they made of ivory, thy shady houses of wood from the isles of Chetiim.
7 Ishte prej liri të hollë të Egjiptit, e punuar me qëndisje, vela që ke shpalosur, që të të shërbente si flamur; ajo që të mbulonte ishte prej hiacinti dhe prej purpre dhe vinte nga ishujt e Elishahut.
Fine linen with embroidery from Egypt supplied the couch, to put honour upon thee, and to clothe thee with blue and purple from the isles of Elisai; and they became thy coverings.
8 Banorët e Sidonit dhe të Arvadit ishin vozitësit e tu; të urtët e tu, o Tiro, ishin te ti; ata ishin pilotët e tu.
And thy princes were the dwellers in Sidon, and the Aradians were thy rowers: thy wise men, O Sor, who were in thee, these were thy pilots.
9 Te ti ishin pleqtë e Gebalit dhe specialistët e tij për të riparuar tërë të çarat e tua; te ti ishin tërë anijet e detit dhe detarët e tyre për të shkëmbyer mallrat e tua.
The elders of the Biblians, and their wise men, who were in thee, these helped thy counsel: and all the ships of the sea and their rowers traded for thee to the utmost west.
10 Ata të Persisë, të Ludit dhe të Putit ishin në ushtrinë tënde, si luftëtarë; ata varnin te ti mburojën dhe përkrenaren dhe të jepnin shkëlqim.
Persians and Lydians and Libyans were in thine army: thy warriors hung in thee shields and helmets; these gave [thee] thy glory.
11 Bijtë e Arvadit dhe ushtria jote ishin përreth mureve të tua dhe njerëz trima qëndronin mbi kullat e tua; ata i varnin mburojat e tyre përreth mureve të tua; ata e bënin kështu të përsosur bukurinë tënde.
The sons of the Aradians and thine army were upon the walls; there were guards in thy towers: they hung their quivers on thy battlements round about; these completed thy beauty.
12 Tarshishi tregtonte me ty për shkak të bollëkut të pasurive të tua; në këmbim të mallrave të tua të jepte argjend, hekur, kallaj dhe plumb.
The Carthaginians were thy merchants because of the abundance of all thy strength; they furnished thy market with silver, and gold, and iron, and tin, and lead.
13 Edhe Javani, Tubali dhe Mesheku bënin tregti me ty; në këmbim të mallrave të tua të jepnin njerëzore dhe vegla prej bronzi.
Greece, both the whole [world], and the adjacent coasts, these traded with thee in the persons of men, and they gave [as] thy merchandise vessels of brass.
14 Ata të shtëpisë së Togarmahut të jepnin në këmbim të mallrave të tua kuaj qëniet për tërheqje, kuaj vrapimi dhe mushka.
Out of the house of Thogarma horses and horsemen furnished the market.
15 Bijtë e Dedanit bënin tregti me ty; tregtia e shumë ishujve kalonte nga duart e tua; si shpërblim të jepnin dhëmbë fildishi dhe abanoz.
The sons of the Rhodians were thy merchants; from the islands they multiplied thy merchandise, [even] elephants' teeth: and to them that came in thou didst return thy prices,
16 Siria bënte tregti me ty për shkak të bollëkut të prodhimeve të tua; në këmbim të mallrave të tua të jepnin gurë të çmuar, purpur, stofa të qëndisur, pëlhura hiri të hollë, koral dhe rubin.
[even] men [as] thy merchandise, from the multitude of thy trading [population], myrrh and embroidered works from Tharsis: Ramoth also and Chorchor furnished thy market.
17 Juda dhe vendi i Izraelit tregtonin me ty; në këmbim të mallrave të tua të jepnin grurë të Minithit, parfume, mjaltë, vaj dhe balsam.
Juda and the children of Israel, these were thy merchants; in the sale of corn and ointments and cassia: and they gave the best honey, and oil, and resin, to thy trading [population].
18 Damasku bënte tregti me ty për shkak të numrit të madh të prodhimeve të tua dhe për bollëkun e pasurive të tua me verë të Helbonit dhe me lesh të bardhë.
[The people of] Damascus were thy merchants by reason of the abundance of all thy power; wine out of Chelbon, and wool from Miletus; and they brought wine into thy market.
19 Vedani dhe Javani sillnin nga Uzahu prodhime në këmbim të mallrave të tua; hekuri i punuar, kasia dhe kallami aromatik ishin ndër mallrat e tua të këmbimit.
Out of Asel [came] wrought iron, and there is the sound of wheels among thy trading [population].
20 Dedani tregtonte me ty veshje për të kalëruar.
[The people of] Daedan were thy merchants, with choice cattle for chariots.
21 Arabia dhe tërë princat e Kedarit bënin tregti me ty, duke bërë me ty shkëmbime në qengja, deshë dhe cjep.
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, these were thy traders with thee, [bringing] camels, and lambs, and rams, in which they trade with thee.
22 Tregtarët e Shebas dhe të Ramahut bënin tregti me ty; në këmbim të mallrave të tua ata të jepnin të gjitha aromat më të mira, lloj lloj gurësh të çmuar dhe ar.
The merchants of Sabba and Ramma, these were thy merchants, with choice spices, and precious stones: and they brought gold to thy market.
23 Herani, Kanehu, Edeni, tregtarët e Shebas, të Asirisë dhe të Kilmadit bënin tregti me ty.
Charra, and Chanaa, these were thy merchants: Assur, and Charman, were thy merchants:
24 Në këmbim të mallrave të tua shkëmbenin me ty sende luksi, mantele të purpurta, stofa të qëndisura, arka rrobash të ndryshme, të lidhura me litarë.
bringing [for] merchandise blue, and choice stores bound with cords, and cypress wood.
25 Anijet e Tarshishit transportonin mallrat e tua. Kështu u mbushe dhe u pasurove me të madhe në zemër të deteve.
Ships were thy merchants, in abundance, with thy trading [population]: and thou wast filled and very heavily loaded in the heart of the sea.
26 Vozitësit e tu të kanë çuar mbi shumë ujra, por era e lindjes të ka shkatërruar në zemër të deteve.
Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the south wind has broken thee in the heart of the sea.
27 Pasuritë e tua, mallrat e tua, prodhimet e tua, detarët e tu, pilotët e tu, ata që ndreqnin të çarat, trafikantët e mallrave të tua, tërë luftëtarët që janë te ti dhe gjithë ajo mori që është mes teje do të bien në zemër të deteve ditën e shkatërrimit tënd.
Thy forces, and thy gain, and that of thy traders, and thy rowers, and thy pilots, and thy counselors, and they that traffic with thee, and all thy warriors that are in thee: and all thy company in the midst of thee shall perish in the heart of the sea, in the day of thy fall.
28 Nga zhurma e britmës së pilotëve të tu fushat e hapura do të dridhen;
At the cry of thy voice thy pilots shall be greatly terrified.
29 tërë ata që përdorin lopatën, detarët dhe tërë pilotët e detit do të zbresin nga anijet e tyre dhe do të mbeten në breg.
And all the rowers and the mariners shall come down from the ships, and the pilots of the sea shall stand on the land.
30 Do të bëjnë që të dëgjohet zëri i tyre mbi ty; do të klithin me trishtim, do të hedhin pluhur mbi kokën e tyre, do të rrokullisen në pluhur.
And they shall wail over thee with their voice, and cry bitterly, and put earth on their heads, and spread ashes under them.
31 Për shkakun tënd do të rruajnë kokën, do të vishen me thasë dhe do të qajnë për ty me trishtim të shpirtit, me një dhembje të thellë.
32 Në ankthin e tyre do të ngrenë për ty një vajtim dhe do të vajtojnë për ty: “Kush është si Tiro, e shkatërruar në mes të detit?”.
And their sons shall take up a [lament] for thee, even a lamentation for Sor, [saying],
33 Kur mallrat e tua dilnin nga detet, ngopje shumë popuj; me bollëkun e pasurive dhe të mallrave të tua pasuroje mbretërit e tokës.
How large a reward hast thou gained from the sea? thou hast filled nations out of thine abundance; and out of thy mixed merchandise thou hast enriched all the kings of the earth.
34 Por kur u theve nga detet në thellësinë e ujrave, mallrat e tua dhe tërë moria e njerëzve në mes teje kanë rënë.
Now art thou broken in the sea, thy traders are in the deep water, and all thy company in the midst of thee: all thy rowers have fallen.
35 Të gjithë banorët e ishujve janë habitur prej teje; mbretërit e tyre i ka zënë një frikë e madhe, pamja e tyre është e tronditur.
All the dwellers in the islands have mourned over thee, and their kings have been utterly amazed, and their countenance has wept.
36 Tregtarët midis popujve fishkëllejnë mbi ty; je bërë një llahtarë dhe nuk do të ekzistosh më”.
Merchants from the nations have hissed at thee; thou art utterly destroyed, and shalt not be any more for ever.
