Ezekieli 22
1 Fjala e Zotit m’u drejtua, duke thënë:
Yahweh gave me another message. He said,
2 “Tani, bir njeriu, nuk do të gjykosh ti, nuk do ta gjykosh qytetin gjakatar? Bëji, pra, të njohura të gjitha veprimet e tij të neveritshme.
“You human, are you ready to condemn the people of Jerusalem? It is [RHQ] a city full of murderers [MTY]. Remind them of all the detestable things that they have done.
3 Pastaj thuaj: Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: Qyteti derdh gjak në mes të tij për të sjellë kohën e tij; përveç kësaj bën idhuj kundër vetvetes për t’u ndotur.
[Then] say, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: By your murdering people and by (defiling yourselves/making yourselves unacceptable to God) by making idols, you people of this city [APO] have brought to yourselves the time when you [will be destroyed].
4 Për gjakun që ke derdhur je bërë fajtor dhe je ndotur për idhujt që ke sajuar. Ke afruar ditët e tua dhe ke arritur në fund të viteve të tua; prandaj do të të bëj turpin e kombeve dhe objekt talljeje për të gjitha vendet.
You have become guilty by doing both of those things [DOU]. You have brought to an end your time [to remain alive] [DOU]. Therefore I will cause you to become a group whom the [people of other] nations will scorn; they will all laugh at you [DOU].
5 Ata që janë afër dhe ata që janë larg teje do të tallen me ty o i molepsur për lavdi dhe plot çrregullim.
People in countries that are near you and people who live far from you will make fun of you, because your city is full of lawless people and full of confusion.
6 Ja princat e Izraelit: secili ka përdorur pushtetin e tij për të derdhur gjak te ti.
Think about how each of your Israeli kings have used their power to cause people to be murdered [MTY].
7 Te ti përçmohet ati dhe nëna, në mes teje shtypet i huaji, te ti keqtrajtohet jetimi dhe e veja.
Your people do not respect/honor their parents; they have oppressed foreigners; they mistreat orphans and widows.
8 Ti ke përçmar gjërat e mia të shtrënjta dhe ke përdhour të shtunat e mia.
You despise my sacred places and (dishonor/do not respect) the Sabbath days.
9 Te ti ka njerëz që shpifin për të derdhur gjak, te ti ka njerëz që hanë mbi male, në mes teje ka njerëz që kryejnë kobe.
Among you are men who tell lies in order to cause others to be executed [MTY]. There are those who [food offered to idols] at the hilltop [shrines], and they perform disgusting sexual acts.
10 Te ti zbulohet lakuriqësia e atit, te ti poshtërohet gruaja gjatë papastërtisë së saj.
There are men who have sex with their father’s wives [EUP], and men who have sex with women during their monthly menstrual periods.
11 Dikush kryen një veprim të neveritshëm me gruan e të afërmit të tij, dikush tjetër ndot me incest nusen e të birit, një tjetër akoma poshtëron motrën e tij, bijën e atit të tij.
There are men who have sex with someone else’s wife. Some men have sex with their daughters-in-law or with their sisters or half-sisters.
12 Te ti pranohen dhurata për të derdhur gjak; ti kërkon kamatë të lartë, ti ke realizuar fitime nga i afërti dhe më ke harruar mua”, thotë Zoti, Zoti.
There are among you men who accept bribes in order to cause someone to be executed [MTY]. You charge high interest when you lend people money. You become rich by forcing people to give you money. [the worst thing is that] you have forgotten me, Yahweh the Lord.
13 “Por ja, unë rrah duart për fitimin e pandershëm që ke nxjerrë dhe për gjakun e derdhur që është në mes teje.
So I will shake my fists at you to show that I am angry with you because of your stealing money from people and murdering [MTY] people who live among you.
14 A do të mund të qëndrojë zemra jote ose a do të mund të qëndrojnë të forta duart e tua në ditët kur unë do të veproj kundër teje? Unë, Zoti, fola dhe do ta kryej.
When I [punishing] you, you will no longer [RHQ] be courageous/brave [DOU]. I, Yahweh, have said [what I will do to you], and I will do it.
15 Unë do të të shpërndaj midis kombeve, do të të shkapërdaj midis vendeve dhe do të eleminoj papastërtinë tënde prej teje.
I will cause you to be scattered among many nations [DOU], and I will cause you to stop your sinful behavior.
16 Ti do të përdhosësh vetveten në sytë e kombeve dhe do të pranosh që unë jam Zoti”.
When [the people of other] nations see that you have been humiliated, you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”
17 Fjala e Zotit m’u drejtua, duke thënë:
Yahweh [also] said to me,
18 “Bir njeriu, shtëpia e Izraelit është bërë për mua tërë skorje: janë të gjithë bronz, kallaj, hekur dhe plumb në mes të një furre; janë bërë skorje argjëndi”.
“You human, your Israeli people [MTY] have [useless] to me. They are [like] [MET] dross/slag to me. They are like [SIM] [worthless] copper, tin, iron, and lead that remains after silver is melted in [very hot] furnace.
19 Prandaj kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: “Duke qenë se të gjithë ju jeni bërë skorje të shumta, ja, unë do t’ju mbledh në mes të Jeruzalemit.
Therefore, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: Because you have all become [like] dross/slag, I will gather you in Jerusalem.
20 Ashtu si mblidhet argjëndi, bronzi, hekuri, plumbi dhe kallaji në mes të furrës dhe mbi ta i fryjnë zjarrit për t’i shkrirë, kështu në zemërimin tim dhe në tërbimin tim do t’ju mbledh, do t’ju fus atje dhe do t’ju shkrij.
People [ore containing] silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin in a [very hot] furnace and melt them in a blazing [to burn up the impurities]. Similarly [SIM], I will gather you [inside Jerusalem], and because I am very angry with you, [what I will do will be as though] I am melting you.
21 Do t’ju mbledh dhe do të fryj mbi ju me zjarrin e zemërimit tim dhe ju do të shkriheni në mes të tij.
[It will be as though] I will blow on you with a hot breath that shows that I am very angry, [it will be as though] you will be melted,
22 Ashtu si shkrihet argjendi në mes të furrës, kështu dhe ju do të shkriheni në mes të qytetit; dhe do të pranoni që unë, Zoti, kam derdhur mbi ju tërbimin tim”.
as though you will be melted like [SIM] silver is melted in a furnace, and then you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my punishment [MTY] on you.”
23 Fjala e Zotit m’u drejtua përsëri, duke thënë:
Yahweh gave me another message. He said,
24 “Bir njeriu, i thuaj Jeruzalemit: Ti je një tokë që nuk është pastruar ose lagur nga shiu në një ditë indinjate.
“You human, say to the Israeli people, ‘[Yahweh] is angry with you, there has been no rain or showers in your country.’
25 Komploti i profetëve të tij në mes të tij është si një luan që ulërin dhe shqyen gjahun, ata i gllabërojnë njerëzit, përvetësojnë thesaret dhe gjërat e çmueshme, shtojnë të vejat në mes të tij.
Your leaders are like [SIM] lions that tear apart the animals that they have killed. Your leaders destroy their people. They steal treasures and [other] valuable things from people, and they cause many women to become [by murdering their husbands].
26 Priftërinjtë e tij shkelin ligjin tim dhe përdhosin gjërat e mia të shenjta, nuk bëjnë dallim midis asaj që është e shenjtë dhe jo e shenjtë, nuk e bëjnë të njohur ndryshimin ndërmjet të papastrës dhe të pastrës dhe i largojnë sytë nga të shtunat e mia, prandaj jam përdhosur në mes tyre.
Their priests disobey my laws and disrespect my sacred things by saying that there is no difference between things that are sacred and those that are not sacred, and by ignoring my laws about honoring the Sabbath days. As a result, they no [longer] honor me.
27 Krerët e tij në mes të tij janë si ujqër që shqyejnë gjahun për të derdhur gjak, për të shkatërruar shpirtëra, për të realizuar një fitim jo të drejtë.
Their officials are like [SIM] wolves that tear apart the animals that they have killed: They murder people [DOU] in order to get their money.
28 Profetët e tij suvatojnë për ata me llaç që nuk mban, duke pasur vegime të rreme dhe duke shqiptuar shortari të gënjeshtërta për ta, dhe thonë: “Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti”, ndërsa Zoti nuk ka folur.
Their prophets, by falsely saying they have received [from God], and by giving false messages, try to (cover up [MET]/say that it is all right to commit) those sins. They say, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says,’ when I have said nothing to them.
29 Populli i vendit ushtron shtypjen, kryen grabitje, keqtrajton të varfërin dhe nevojtarin, shtyp të huajin duke marrë nëpër këmbë drejtësinë.
The Israeli people force others to give them money, and they rob people. They oppress poor [DOU] people, and they mistreat foreigners among them by not treating them [in the courts].
30 Unë kërkova midis tyre një burrë që të ndërtonte një mur dhe t’i dilte për zot vendit, që unë të mos e shkatërroja, por nuk e gjeta.
I looked among them to find a man who would cause the people of the city to repent [MET] so that I would not need to get rid of them. But I did not find anyone.
31 Prandaj do të derdh mbi ta indinjatën time, do t’i konsumoj me zjarrin e zemërimit tim dhe do të bëj që të bjerë mbi kryet e tyre sjellja e tyre”, thotë Zoti, Zoti.
So because I am very angry with them, I will severely punish them [MTY] for [all] the wicked things that they have done. [That will surely happen because I], Yahweh the Lord, have said it.”
