Veprat e Apostujve 19
1 Dhe ndërsa Apollo ishte ende në Korint, Pali, mbasi shkoi në vendet më të larta, arriti në Efes dhe, si gjeti disa dishepuj, u tha atyre:
It came to pass now while Apollos being in Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper parts (to come down *N+kO) to Ephesus and (finding *N+kO) certain disciples
2 “A e keni marrë Frymën e Shenjtë, kur besuat?”. Ata iu përgjigjën: “Ne as që kemi dëgjuar se paska Frymë të Shenjtë”.
he said (also *no) to them; If [the] Spirit Holy did you receive having believed? And (they said *k) to him; But not even that [a] Spirit Holy there is did we hear.
3 Dhe ai u tha atyre: “Me se, pra, u pagëzuat?”. Ata u përgjigjën: “Me pagëzimin e Gjonit”.
He said then (to them: *k) Into what then were you baptized? And they said; Into John's baptism.
4 Atëherë Pali tha: “Gjoni pagëzoi me pagëzimin e pendimit, duke i thënë popullit se duhet t’i besonte atij që do të vinte pas tij, domethënë Jezu Krishtit.
Said then Paul; John (indeed *k) baptized a baptism of repentance to the people telling about the [One] coming after him that they may believe, That is in (Christ *K) Jesus.
5 Dhe ata, si dëgjuan, u pagëzuan në emër të Zotit Jezus.
Having heard then they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus;
6 Dhe, kur Pali vuri duart mbi ta, Fryma e Shenjtë zbriti mbi ta dhe ata folën në gjuhë të tjera dhe profetizuan.
And when was laying on them Paul the hands came the Spirit Holy upon them, they were speaking then in tongues and were prophesying.
7 Dhe gjithsej ishin rreth dymbëdhjetë burra.
There were then the in all men about (twelve. *N+kO)
8 Pastaj ai hyri në sinagogë dhe u foli lirisht njerëzve tre muaj me radhë, duke diskutuar dhe duke i bindur për gjërat e mbretërisë së Perëndisë.
Having entered then into the synagogue he was speaking boldly for months three reasoning and persuading concerning the kingdom of God.
9 Por, duke qenë se disa ngurtësoheshin dhe nuk besonin dhe flisnin keq për Udhën përpara turmës, ai u shkëput prej tyre, i ndau dishepujt dhe vazhdoi të diskutojë çdo ditë në shkollën e njëfarë Tirani.
When however some were hardened and they were disbelieving speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, having departed from them he took separately the disciples every day reasoning in the lecture hall of Tyrannus (a certain. *k)
10 Dhe kjo vazhdoi dy vjet me radhë, kështu që të gjithë banorët e Azisë, Judenj dhe Grekë, e dëgjuan fjalën e Zotit Jezus.
This then continued for years two, so that all those inhabiting Asia hearing the word of the Lord (Jesus *K) Jews both and Greeks.
11 Dhe Perëndia bënte mrekulli të jashtëzakonshme me anë të duarve të Palit,
Miracles then not being ordinary God was doing through the hands of Paul,
12 aq sa mbi të sëmurët sillnin peshqirë dhe përparëse që kishin qenë mbi trupin e tij, dhe sëmundjet largoheshin prej tyre dhe frymërat e liga dilnin prej tyre.
so that even to the ailing (carrying *NK+O) from the skin of him handkerchiefs or aprons and departing from them the diseases the also spirits evil (coming out *N+kO) (from *k) (of them. *K)
13 Dhe disa yshtës shëtitës Judenj u orvatën të thërrasin emrin e Zotit Jezus mbi ata që kishin frymërat e liga, duke thënë: “Ju përbetohemi për Jezusin, që Pali predikon!”.
Attempted now some of (also *N+kO) of the itinerant Jewish exorcists to invoke over those having spirits evil the name of the Lord Jesus saying; (I adjure *N+KO) you [by] Jesus whom Paul proclaims.
14 Ata që bënin këtë ishin shtatë bijtë e njëfarë Skevi, kryeprift jude.
They were now (of a certain *N+kO) of Sceva a Jewish a high priest seven sons this were doing.
15 Por fryma e ligë u përgjigj dhe tha: “Unë e njoh Jezusin dhe e di kush është Pali, po ju cilët jeni?”.
Answering however the spirit evil said (to them: *no) (indeed *no) Jesus I know and Paul I am acquainted with; you yourselves however who are you?
16 Atëherë ai njeri që kishte frymën e ligë u hodh mbi ta dhe si i mundi, ushtroi një dhunë aq të madhe sa ata ikën nga ajo shtëpi, lakuriq e të plagosur.
And (having leapt *N+kO) the man upon them in whom was the spirit evil, (and *k) (having overpowered *NK+o) (them all *N+KO) he prevailed against them so that naked and wounded fleeing out of the house that.
17 Kjo u muar vesh nga të gjithë Judenjtë dhe Grekët që banonin në Efes, dhe të gjithë i zuri frika, dhe emri i Zotit Jezus ishte madhëruar.
This now became known to all Jews both also to Greeks who inhabiting Ephesus and (fell *NK+o) fear upon all them and was being magnified the name of the Lord Jesus,
18 Dhe shumë nga ata që kishin besuar vinin të rrëfeheshin dhe të tregonin gjërat që kishin bërë.
Many then of those having believed were coming confessing and declaring the deeds of them.
19 Shumë nga ata që ishin marrë me magji i sollën librat dhe i dogjën përpara të gjithëve; dhe, mbasi e llogaritën çmimin e tyre, gjetën se ishin pesëdhjetë mijë pjesë argjendi.
Many now of those the magic arts having practiced having brought together the books were burning [them] before all; And they counted up the prices of them and found [it] of silverlings myriads five.
20 Kështu fjala e Perëndisë shtohej dhe forcohej.
thus with might of the Lord the word was continuing to increase and was prevailing.
21 Mbas këtyre ngjarjeve, Pali kishte vendosur në mendje të shkojë në Jeruzalem, duke kaluar nëpër Maqedoni dhe nëpër Akai, dhe thoshte: “Mbasi të kem qenë atje, më duhet të shoh edhe Romën”.
After now were fulfilled these things, purposed Paul in the Spirit having passed through Macedonia and Achaia to go to Jerusalem having said that After being me there, it behooves me also Rome to see.
22 Atëherë dërgoi në Maqedoni dy nga ata që i shërbenin, Timoteun dhe Erastin, dhe vetë ndenji edhe ca kohë në Azi.
Having sent then into Macedonia two of those ministering to him, Timothy and Erastus, he himself remained for a time in Asia.
23 Dhe në atë kohë u bë një trazirë e madhe lidhur me Udhën,
Arose now at the time same a disturbance not small concerning the Way.
24 sepse një farë njeriu, me emër Dhimitër, argjendar, i cili bënte tempuj të Dianës në argjend, u sillte artizanëve jo pak fitim.
Demetrius for a certain [man] named, a silversmith making shrines silver of Artemis, was bringing to the craftsmen no little business
25 Ai i mblodhi këta bashkë me punëtorët që kishin një aktivitet të përafërt, dhe tha: “O burra, ju e dini se fitimi ynë vjen nga kjo veprimtari.
whom having brought together also the in such things Workmen he said; Men, you know that from this business the wealth (of us *N+kO) is,
26 Dhe ju shihni dhe dëgjoni se ky Pali ua ka mbushur mendjen dhe ktheu një numër të madh njerëzish jo vetëm në Efes, por gati në mbarë Azinë, duke thënë se nuk janë perëndi ata që janë bërë me duar.
And you see and hear that not only in Ephesus but almost in all of Asia Paul this having persuaded [them] he has turned away a great many people saying that not they are gods through hands being made.
27 Dhe jo vetëm që është rreziku për ne që kjo mjeshtria jonë të diskreditohet, por që edhe tempulli i perëndeshës së madhe Diana të mos vlerësohet më aspak dhe që t’i hiqet madhështia asaj, që gjithë Azia, madje gjithë bota, e nderon”.
Not only but this is endangered to us the business into disrepute to come but also the of the great goddess Artemis temple as no [thing] to be reckoned, to be (and *N+kO) also deposing (the majesty *N+kO) of her whom all Asia and the world worship.
28 Ata, kur i dëgjuan këto gjëra, u mbushën me inat dhe bërtisnin, duke thënë: “E madhe është Diana e Efesianëve!”.
Having heard then and having become full of rage they were crying out saying; Great [is] Artemis of [the] Ephesians.
29 Dhe gjithë qyteti u mbush me rrëmujë; dhe si i morën me forcë Gain dhe Aristarkun, Maqedonas, bashkudhëtarë të Palit, rendën të gjithë, me një mendje, në teatër.
And was filled the city (all *K) with confusion; they rushed and with one accord to the theatre having dragged off Gaius and Aristarchus Macedonians, fellow travelers of Paul.
30 Dhe Pali donte t’i dilte popullit, por dishepujt nuk e lejonin.
Paul however intending to go in to the people not were allowing him the disciples;
31 Edhe disa Aziarkë, që ishin miq të tij, i çuan për ta lutur të mos dilte në teatër.
Some then also of the Asiarchs being to him friends, having sent to him they were urging [him] not to venture himself into the theatre.
32 Ndërkaq disa bërtisnin një gjë, të tjerë një tjetër, saqë mbledhja ishte trazuar dhe më të shumtët nuk dinin përse ishin mbledhur.
Others indeed therefore some thing were crying out; was for the assembly confused, and most not did know for what cause they had assembled.
33 Atëherë nga turma nxorën Aleksandrin, të cilin e shtynin Judenjtë. Dhe Aleksandri, mbasi bëri shenjë me dorë, donte të paraqiste një apologji para popullit.
Out of now the crowd (brought forward *N+kO) Alexander when were thrusting forward him the Jews; And Alexander having motioned with the hand was wanting to present a defense to the people.
34 Por, kur e morën vesh se ishte Jude, të gjithë me një zë filluan të bërtasin për gati dy orë: “E madhe është Diana e Efesianëve!”.
(Having recognized *N+kO) however that a Jew he is, a cry there was one from all (about *NK+o) ongoing hours two crying out; Great [is] Artemis of [the] Ephesians.
35 Kancelari i qytetit, mbasi e qetësoi turmën, tha: “O Efesianë, cili është vallë ai njeri që nuk e di se qyteti i Efesianëve është mbrojtësi i tempullit të perëndeshës së madhe Diana dhe i imazhit të saj që ra nga Zeusi?
having calmed then the town clerk the crowd he says; Men Ephesians, who for is there (of men *N+kO) who not knows the of [the] Ephesians city temple-keeper as being of the great (goddess *k) Artemis and of that fallen from the sky?
36 Duke qenë, pra, se këto janë të pakundërshtueshme, ju duhet të rrini urtë dhe të mos bëni asgjë të nxituar.
Undeniable therefore are being these things necessary it is for you quietened to be and nothing rash to do.
37 Sepse i prutë këta njerëz që nuk janë as sacrileghi as blasfemues të perëndeshës suaj.
You brought for men these neither temple plunderers nor blaspheming the (goddess *N+kO) (of us. *N+KO)
38 Pra, në qoftë se Dhimitri dhe mjeshtrit që janë me të kanë diçka kundër dikujt, gjykatat janë hapur dhe prokonsuj ka; le të padisin njëri-tjetrin.
If indeed therefore Demetrius and the with him craftsmen have against anyone a matter courts are conducted and proconsuls there are; they should accuse to one another.
39 Dhe nëse keni ndonjë kërkesë tjetër për të bërë, të zgjidhet në kuvendin sipas ligjit.
If however anything (beyond this *N+KO) you inquire, in the lawful assembly it will be solved.
40 Ne në fakt jemi në rrezik të akuzohemi si kryengritës për ngjarjen e sotme, sepse nuk ka asnjë arsye me të cilën të përligjet ky grumbullim”.
And for we are in danger of being accused of insurrection in regard to this day not one cause there is existing concerning which not we will be able (to render *NK+o) a reason (for *no) commotion this.
41 Dhe, si i tha këto, e shpërndau mbledhjen.
And these things having said he dismissed the assembly.
