2 Thesalonikasve 3
1 Më në fund, o vëllezër, lutuni për ne, që fjala e Zotit të përhapet me të shpejtë dhe të lëvdohet, porsi ndër ju,
Finally, do pray, brothers, for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and may be glorified even as also with you
2 dhe derisa të shpëtojmë nga njerëzit e çoroditur dhe të këqij, sepse jo të gjithë kanë besim.
and that we may be delivered from perverse and evil men; not for all [are] of the faith.
3 Por Zoti është besnik, dhe ai do t’ju forcojë dhe do t’ju ruajë nga i ligu.
faithful however is the Lord, who will strengthen you and He will keep [you] from evil.
4 Dhe ne kemi besim për ju te Zoti, se gjërat që ju porositëm po i bëni dhe do t’i bëni.
We have been persuaded now in [the] Lord as to you that [the] things that we command (to you *k) both you are doing and you will do.
5 Edhe Zoti i drejtoftë zemrat tuaja te dashuria e Perëndisë dhe te qëndrueshmëria e Krishtit.
And the Lord would direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.
6 Dhe ju porositim, o vëllezër, në emër të Zotit tonë Jezu Krisht, që të largoheni nga çdo vëlla që ecën i çrregullt dhe jo sipas porosisë që keni marrë prej nesh.
We command now you, brothers, in [the] name of the Lord of us Jesus Christ, are to withdraw you from every brother idly walking and not according to the tradition that (they received *N+K+O) from us.
7 Sepse ju e dini vetë se si duhet të na shëmbëlleni, sepse ne nuk u sollëm në mënyrë të çrregullt midis jush,
Yourselves for you know how it behooves [you] to imitate us; because not we were idle among you,
8 dhe nuk kemi ngrënë falas bukën e ndonjërit, por punuam me mundim e cfilitje ditë e natë, që të mos i bëheshim barrë asnjërit prej jush.
nor without payment bread did we eat from anyone, but in labor and hardship (night *N+kO) and (day *N+kO) working in order not to be burdensome to any of you;
9 Jo se ne nuk e kemi këtë të drejtë, po për t’ju dhënë ne vetë një shëmbull që ju të na imitonit.
not that not we have [the] right, but that ourselves [as] an example we may offer to you for you to imitate us.
10 Në fakt, edhe kur ishim në mes tuaj, ju porosisnim këtë: se po qe se ndonjë nuk do të punojë, as të mos hajë.
Even for when we were with you, this we were commanding you that if anyone not is willing to work neither he should eat.
11 Në fakt dëgjojmë se disa prej jush që ecin në mënyrë të çrregullt, nuk bëjnë asgjë dhe merren me gjëra të kota.
We hear for some are walking among you idly, not at all working but being busybodies.
12 Këta i porosisim dhe i bëjmë thirrje në Zotin tonë Jezu Krisht, që të hanë bukën e tyre duke punuar shtruar.
Now to such we warn and we exhort (by *N+kO) (the *k) (Lord *N+kO) (of us *K) Jesus (Christ *N+kO) so that with quietness working their own bread they may eat.
13 Dhe sa për ju, o vëllezër, mos u lodhni së bëri të mirën.
you yourselves now, brothers, not may grow weary [in] well-doing.
14 Dhe nëqoftëse dikush nuk i bindet fjalës sonë në këtë letër, shënojeni atë dhe mos u shoqëroni me të, që ai të turpërohet.
If then anyone not obey this instruction of us through the letter, of this [man] do take note (and *k) not (to mix with *N+kO) him so that he may be ashamed;
15 Por mos e mbani atë si një armik, po këshillojeni si vëlla.
And yet not as an enemy do esteem [him], but do admonish [him] as a brother.
16 Dhe vetë Zoti i paqes ju dhëntë vazhdimisht paqe në çdo mënyrë. Zoti qoftë me ju të gjithë.
Himself now the Lord of peace would give you peace through all [times] in every way. The Lord [be] with all of you.
17 Të falat me shëndet janë nga dora ime, nga mua, Pali; dhe kjo është një shenjë në çdo letër prej meje; unë shkruaj kështu.
The greeting in my own hand — by Paul, which is [my] sign in every letter; In this manner I write.
18 Hiri i Zotit tonë Jezu Krisht qoftë me ju të gjithë. Amen.
The grace of the Lord of us Jesus Christ [be] with all of you (Amen. *KO) (to Thessalonica second it was written from Athens *K)
