2 i Samuelit 11

1 Me fillimin e vitit të ri, në kohën kur mbretërit shkojnë të luftojnë, Davidi dërgoi Joabin me shërbëtorët e tij dhe me tërë Izraelin për të shkatërruar vendin e bijve të Amonit dhe për të rrethuar Rabahun; por Davidi mbeti në Jeruzalem.

and to be to/for turn [the] year to/for time to come out: come ([the] messenger *LC) and to send: depart David [obj] Joab and [obj] servant/slave his with him and [obj] all Israel and to ruin [obj] son: descendant/people Ammon and to confine upon Rabbah and David to dwell in/on/with Jerusalem

2 Një mbrëmje u ngrit nga shtrati i tij dhe filloi të shëtisë në taracën e pallatit mbretëror. Nga taraca pa një grua që po bënte banjo; dhe gruaja ishte shumë e bukur.

and to be to/for time [the] evening and to arise: rise David from upon bed his and to go: walk upon roof house: home [the] king and to see: see woman to wash: wash from upon [the] roof and [the] woman pleasant appearance much

3 Kështu Davidi dërgoi të kërkojë informata për gruan; dhe i thanë: “Éshtë Bath-Sheba, bija e Eliamit, bashkëshortja e Hiteut Uriah”.

and to send: depart David and to seek to/for woman and to say not this Bathsheba Bathsheba daughter Eliam woman: wife Uriah [the] Hittite

4 Davidi dërgoi lajmëtarë për ta marrë; kështu ajo erdhi tek ai dhe ajo ra në shtrat me të; pastaj u pastrua nga papastërtia e saj dhe u kthye në shtëpinë e vet.

5 Gruaja mbeti me barrë dhe ia njoftoi Davidit, duke i thënë: “Jam me barrë”.

and to conceive [the] woman and to send: depart and to tell to/for David and to say pregnant I

6 Atëherë Davidi dërgoi t’i thotë Joabit: “Dërgomë Hiteun Uriah”. Dhe Joabi dërgoi Uriahun te Davidi.

and to send: depart David to(wards) Joab to send: depart to(wards) me [obj] Uriah [the] Hittite and to send: depart Joab [obj] Uriah to(wards) David

7 Kur Uriahu arriti tek ai, Davidi e pyeti për gjendjen shëndetsore të Joabit dhe të popullit, dhe si shkonte lufta.

and to come (in): come Uriah to(wards) him and to ask David to/for peace: greeting Joab and to/for peace: greeting [the] people and to/for peace: greeting [the] battle

8 Pastaj Davidi i tha Uriahut: “Zbrit në shtëpinë tënde dhe laji këmbët”. Uriahu doli nga shtëpia e mbretit dhe i nisën një dhuratë nga ana e mbretit.

and to say David to/for Uriah to go down to/for house: home your and to wash: wash foot your and to come out: come Uriah from house: home [the] king and to come out: come after him tribute [the] king

9 Por Uriahu fjeti te porta e shtëpisë së mbretit bashkë me tërë shërbëtorët e zotërisë së tij dhe nuk zbriti në shtëpinë e tij.

and to lie down: sleep Uriah entrance house: home [the] king with all servant/slave lord his and not to go down to(wards) house: home his

10 Kur e njoftuan Davidin për këtë gjë dhe i thanë: “Uriahu nuk zbriti në shtëpinë e tij”. Davidi i tha Uriahut: “A nuk vjen vallë nga një udhëtim? Pse, pra, nuk zbrite në shtëpinë tënde?”.

and to tell to/for David to/for to say not to go down Uriah to(wards) house: home his and to say David to(wards) Uriah not from way: journey you(m. s.) to come (in): come why? not to go down to(wards) house: home your

11 Uriahu iu përgjigj Davidit: “Arka, Izraeli dhe Juda banojnë në çadra, zotëria im Joab dhe shërbëtorët e zotërisë tim e kanë ngritur kampin e tyre në fushë të hapur. Si mund të hyj unë në shtëpinë time për të ngrënë dhe për të pirë? Ashtu siç është e vërtetë që ti rron dhe që rron shpirti yt, unë nuk do ta bëj këtë gjë!”.

and to say Uriah to(wards) David [the] ark and Israel and Judah to dwell in/on/with booth and lord my Joab and servant/slave lord my upon face: surface [the] land: country to camp and I to come (in): come to(wards) house: home my to/for to eat and to/for to drink and to/for to lie down: lay down with woman: wife my alive your and alive soul your if: surely no to make: do [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this

12 Atëherë Davidi i tha Uriahut: “Qëndro edhe sot këtu, nesër do të të lë të shkosh”. Kështu Uriahu qëndroi në Jeruzalem atë ditë dhe ditën tjetër.

and to say David to(wards) Uriah to dwell in/on/with this also [the] day and tomorrow to send: depart you and to dwell Uriah in/on/with Jerusalem in/on/with day [the] he/she/it and from morrow

13 Davidi e ftoi pastaj të hajë e të pijë bashkë me të dhe e dehu. Por në mbrëmje Uriahu doli për të shkuar në shtrojën e tij bashkë me shërbëtorët e zotërisë së tij dhe nuk zbriti në shtëpinë e tij.

and to call: call to to/for him David and to eat to/for face: before his and to drink and be drunk him and to come out: come in/on/with evening to/for to lie down: lay down in/on/with bed his with servant/slave lord his and to(wards) house: home his not to go down

14 Të nesërmen në mëngjes, Davidi i shkroi një letër Joabit dhe ia dërgoi me anë të Uriahut.

and to be in/on/with morning and to write David scroll: document to(wards) Joab and to send: depart in/on/with hand: power Uriah

15 Në letër kishte shkruar kështu: “Vendoseni Uriahun në vijë të parë, ku beteja është më e ashpër, pastaj tërhiquni nga ai, me qëllim që të goditet dhe të vdesë”.

and to write in/on/with scroll: document to/for to say to give [obj] Uriah to(wards) opposite face: before [the] battle [the] strong and to return: return from after him and to smite and to die

16 Ndërsa rrethonte qytetin, Joabi e vuri Uriahun në vendin ku e dinte se kishte njerëz trima.

and to be in/on/with to keep: look at Joab to(wards) [the] city and to give: put [obj] Uriah to(wards) [the] place which to know for human strength there

17 Banorët e qytetit bënë një dalje dhe sulmuan Joabin, disa nga shërbëtorët e Davidit ranë dhe vdiq edhe Hiteu Uriah.

and to come out: come human [the] city and to fight with Joab and to fall: kill from [the] people from servant/slave David and to die also Uriah [the] Hittite

18 Atëherë Joabi dërgoi një lajmëtar për t’i njoftuar Davidit tërë ngjarjet e luftës,

and to send: depart Joab and to tell to/for David [obj] all word: deed [the] battle

19 dhe i dha lajmëtarit këtë urdhër: “Kur të kesh mbaruar së treguari mbretit tërë ngjarjet e luftës,

and to command [obj] [the] messenger to/for to say like/as to end: finish you [obj] all word: deed [the] battle to/for to speak: speak to(wards) [the] king

20 në qoftë se ai zemërohet dhe të thotë: “Pse iu afruat qytetit për të luftuar? A nuk e dinit që do të gjuanin nga muret lart?

and to be if to ascend: rise rage [the] king and to say to/for you why? to approach: approach to(wards) [the] city to/for to fight not to know [obj] which to shoot from upon [the] wall

21 Kush e vrau Abimelekun, birin e Jerubeshethit? A nuk qe një grua që i hodhi një gur nga muret, dhe kështu ai vdiq në Thebets? Sepse ju jeni afruar te murët?”, atëherë ti do të thuash: “Vdiq edhe shërbëtori yt Hiteu Uriah””.

who? to smite [obj] Abimelech son: child Jerubbesheth not woman to throw upon him millstone chariot: millstone from upon [the] wall and to die in/on/with Thebez to/for what? to approach: approach to(wards) [the] wall and to say also servant/slave your Uriah [the] Hittite to die

22 Kështu lajmëtari u nis dhe, kur arriti, i tregoi Davidit të gjitha ato që Joabi e kishte ngarkuar të thoshte.

and to go: went [the] messenger and to come (in): come and to tell to/for David [obj] all which to send: depart him Joab

23 Lajmëtari i tha Davidit: “Armiqtë patën epërsi mbi ne dhe bënë një dalje kundër nesh në fushë të hapur, por ne i sprapsëm deri në hyrjen e portës;

and to say [the] messenger to(wards) David for to prevail upon us [the] human and to come out: come to(wards) us [the] land: country and to be upon them till entrance [the] gate

24 atëherë harkëtarët gjuajtën mbi shërbëtorët e tu nga lartësia e mureve dhe disa shërbëtorë të mbretit vdiqën, dhe vdiq edhe shërbëtori yt, Hiteu Uriah”.

(and to shoot *QK) ([the] to shoot *Qk) to(wards) servant/slave your from upon [the] wall and to die from servant/slave [the] king and also servant/slave your Uriah [the] Hittite to die

25 Atëherë Davidi i tha lajmëtarit: “Do t’i thuash kështu Joabit: “Mos u hidhëro për këtë gjë, sepse shpata ha o njerin o tjetrin; lufto me forcë më të madhe kundër qytetit dhe shkatërroje”. Dhe ti jepi zemër”.

and to say David to(wards) [the] messenger thus to say to(wards) Joab not be evil in/on/with eye: appearance your [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this for like/as this and like/as this to eat [the] sword to strengthen: strengthen battle your to(wards) [the] city and to overthrow her and to strengthen: strengthen him

26 Kur gruaja e Uriahut dëgjoi që burri i saj kishte vdekur, ajo mbajti zi për bashkëshortin e saj.

and to hear: hear woman: wife Uriah for to die Uriah man: husband her and to mourn upon master: husband her

27 Me të mbaruar zija, Davidi dërgoi ta marrë dhe e priti në shtëpinë e tij. Ajo u bë gruaja e tij dhe i lindi një djalë. Por ajo që Davidi kishte bërë nuk i pëlqeu Zotit.

and to pass [the] mourning and to send: depart David and to gather her to(wards) house: home his and to be to/for him to/for woman: wife and to beget to/for him son: child and be evil [the] word: thing which to make: do David in/on/with eye: appearance LORD
