2 i Samuelit 1

1 Pas vdekjes së Saulit, Davidi u kthye nga masakra e Amalekitëve dhe u ndal dy ditë në Tsiklag.

And it was after [the] death of Saul and David he returned from defeating Amalek and he remained David in Ziklag days two.

2 Ditën e tretë arriti në kampin e Saulit një burrë me rroba të grisura dhe me kokën me dhe. Sa arriti pranë Davidit, ai ra për tokë dhe u përkul.

And it was - on the day third and there! a man [was] coming from the camp from with Saul and garments his [were] torn and earth [was] on head his and it was when came he to David and he fell [the] ground towards and he bowed down.

3 Davidi e pyeti: “Nga vjen?”. Ai iu përgjigj: “Kam ikur nga kampi i Izraelit”.

And he said to him David where? from this are you coming and he said to him from [the] camp of Israel I have escaped.

4 Davidi i tha: “Si u bë? Të lutem, më trego”. Ai iu përgjigj: “Populli iku nga fusha e betejës dhe shumë njerëz ranë dhe vdiqën; edhe Sauli dhe biri i tij Jonatan kanë vdekur”.

And he said to him David what? was it the word tell please to me and he said that it has fled the people from the battle and also [surely] a multitude has fallen of the people and they have died and also Saul and Jonathan son his they have died.

5 Atëherë Davidi e pyeti të riun që i tregonte ngjarjen: “Si e di ti që Sauli dhe biri i tij Jonatani kanë vdekur?”.

And he said David to the young man who had told to him how? do you know that he has died Saul and Jonathan son his.

6 I riu që i tregonte ngjarjen tha: “Ndodhesha rastësisht në malin Gilboa, kur pashë Saulin të mbështetur në shtizën e tij, ndërsa qerret dhe kalorësit e ndiqnin nga afër.

And he said the young man - who had told to him [surely] by chance I found myself on [the] mountain of Gilboa and there! Saul [was] leaning on spear his and there! the chariotry and [the] owners of the horses they overtook him.

7 Ai u kthye, më pa dhe më thirri. Unë iu përgjigja: “Ja ku jam”.

And he turned behind him and he saw me and he called to me and I said here [am] I.

8 Ai më pyeti: “Kush je ti?”. Unë iu përgjigja: “Jam një Amalekit”.

And he said to me who? [are] you (and I said *QK) to him [am] an Amalekite I.

9 Atëherë ai më tha: “Afrohu tek unë dhe më vrit, sepse një ankth i madh më ka pushtuar, por jeta është e tëra akoma tek unë”.

And he said to me stand please over me and kill me for it has seized me dizziness for all still life my [is] in me.

10 Kështu iu afrova atij dhe e vrava, sepse e kuptoja që ai nuk do të mund të jetonte mbas rënies së tij. Pastaj mora diademën që kishte mbi kokë dhe byzylykun që mbante në krah, dhe i solla këtu te zotëria im”.

And I stood over him and I killed him for I knew that not he will live after had fallen he and I took the crown - which [was] on head his and an armlet which [was] on arm his and I brought them to lord my here.

11 Atëherë Davidi kapi rrobat e veta dhe i grisi; po kështu vepruan tërë njerëzit që ishin me të.

And he took hold David (on garments his *QK) and he tore them and also all the men who [were] with him.

12 Kështu mbajtën zi, qanë dhe agjeruan deri në mbrëmje për Saulin, për Jonatanin, birin e tij, për popullin e Zotit dhe për shtëpinë e Izraelit, sepse kishin rënë nga shpata.

And they mourned and they wept and they fasted until the evening on Saul and on Jonathan son his and on [the] people of Yahweh and on [the] house of Israel for they had fallen by the sword.

13 Pastaj Davidi e pyeti të riun që i kishte treguar ngjarjen: “Nga ç’vend je?”. Ai u përgjigj: “Jam biri i një të huaji, i një Amalekiti”.

And he said David to the young man who had told to him where? from this [are] you and he said [am the] son of a man a sojourner an Amalekite I.

14 Atëherë Davidi i tha: “Si nuk pate frikë të shtrish dorën për të vrarë të vajosurin e Zotit

And he said to him David how? not were you afraid to stretch out hand your to destroy [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh.

15 Pastaj thirri një nga njerëzit e tij dhe i tha: “Afrohu dhe hidhu mbi të!”. Ai e goditi dhe Amalekiti vdiq.

And he called David to one from the young men and he said draw near fall on him and he struck down him and he died.

16 Pas kësaj Davidi tha: “Gjaku yt rëntë mbi kokën tënde, sepse me gojën tënde ke dëshmuar kundër vetes sate, duke thënë: “Unë kam vrarë të vajosurin e Zotit””.

And he said to him David (blood your *QK) [be] on head your for own mouth your it has testified against you saying I I killed [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh.

17 Atëherë Davidi ia mori këtij vajtimi për Saulin dhe Jonatanin, birin e tij,

And he lamented David the lamentation this on Saul and on Jonathan son his.

18 dhe urdhëroi t’u mësonin bijve të Judës këngën e harkut. Ja, ajo gjendet e shkruar në librin e të Drejtit.

And he said to teach [the] descendants of Judah Bow here! [it is] written on [the] book of the upright [one].

19 “Madhështia e Izraelit qëndron e vrarë në lartësitë e tua! Si është e mundur që ranë trimat?

The beauty O Israel on high places your [is] slain how! they have fallen [the] mighty [ones].

20 Mos ia njoftoni Gathit, mos e bëni të ditur nëpër rrugët e Ashkalonit, që të mos gëzohen bijat e Filistejve, që të mos ngazëllohen bijat e të parrethprerëve.

May not you tell in Gath may not you bear news in [the] streets of Ashkelon lest they should rejoice [the] daughters of [the] Philistines lest they should exult [the] daughters of the uncircumcised.

21 O male të Gilboas, mos rëntë më as vesa as shiu mbi ju, mos pastë as fusha ofertash; sepse aty u hodh mburoja e trimave, mburoja e Saulit, sikur ky të mos ishte i vajosur.

O mountains in Gilboa may not dew and may not rain [be] on you and fields of contributions for there it was defiled [the] shield of [the] mighty [ones] [the] shield of Saul not [was] anointed with oil.

22 Nga gjaku i të vrarëve, nga dhjami i trimave, harku i Jonatanit nuk u tërhoq kurrë dhe shpata e Saulit nuk u vërtit kurrë bosh.

From [the] blood of [those] slain from [the] fat of [the] mighty [ones] [the] bow of Jonathan not it turned back backwards and [the] sword of Saul not it returned empty.

23 Sauli dhe Jonatani; aq të dashur dhe të përzemërt në jetë, nuk u ndanë në vdekjen e tyre. Ishin më të shpejtë se shqiponjat, më të fortë se luanët.

Saul and Jonathan lovable and pleasant in lives their and in death their not they were separated more than eagles they were swift more than lions they were strong.

24 Bija të Izraelit, vajtoni Saulin që ju vishte në luks me rroba flakë të kuqe, që i zbukuronte me ar veshjet tuaja.

O daughters of Israel because of Saul weep who clothed you scarlet with luxuries who brought up ornament[s] of gold on clothing your.

25 Vallë, si ranë trimat në mes të betejës, si u vra Jonathani në lartësitë e tua?

How! they have fallen [the] mighty [ones] in [the] middle of the battle Jonathan on high places your [is] slain.

26 Unë jam në ankth për ty, o vëllai im Jonatan; ti ishe shumë i dashur për mua, dashuria jote për mua ishte më e mrekullueshme se dashuria e grave.

It is distress to me on you O brother my Jonathan you were pleasant to me very it was wonderful love your to me more than [the] love of women.

27 Vallë, si ranë trimat dhe si u shkatërruan armët e luftës?”.

How! they have fallen [the] mighty [ones] and they have perished [the] weapons of war.
