1 Atëherë profeti Eliseu thirri një nga dishepujt e profetëve dhe i tha: “Ngjesh brezin, merr me vete këtë enë të vogël me vaj dhe shko në Ramoth të Galaadit.
Forsothe Elisee, the prophete, clepide oon of the sones of prophetis, and seide to hym, Girde thi leendis, and take this vessel of oile in thin hond, and go in to Ramoth of Galaad.
2 Kur të arrish aty, kërko të takosh Jehun, birin e Jozafatit, që është bir i Nimshit; hyrë në dhomë, merre nga mesi i vëllezërve të tij dhe çoje në një dhomë të veçantë.
And whanne thou schalt come thidur, thou schalt se Hieu, sone of Josephat, sone of Namsi; and thou schalt entre, and schalt reise hym fro the myddis of hise britheren, and thou schalt lede hym in to the ynnere closet.
3 Do të marrësh pastaj enën e vogël me vaj dhë do ta derdhësh mbi kokën e tij, duke thënë: Kështu thotë Zoti: “Unë të vajos mbret të Izraelit”. Pastaj hape portën dhe mbathja pa humbur kohë”.
And thou schalt holde the vessel of oile, and schalt schede on his heed, and schalt seie, The Lord seith these thingis, I haue anoyntid thee in to kyng on Israel; and thou schalt opene the dore, and schalt flee, and schalt not abide there.
4 Atëherë i riu, shërbëtori i profetit, u nis për në Ramoth të Galaadit.
Therfor the yong wexynge man, the child of the prophete, yede in to Ramoth of Galaad, and entride thidur.
5 Kur arriti aty, i gjeti kapitenët e ushtarët të ulur bashkë dhe tha: “Kam një kumtesë për ty, o kapiten”. Jehu e pyeti: “Për cilin prej nesh?”. Ai u përgjigj: “Për ty, kapiten”.
Lo! sotheli the princes of the oost saten; and he seide, A! prince, Y haue a word to thee. And Hieu seide, To whom of alle vs? And he seide, To thee, thou prince.
6 Atëherë u ngrit dhe hyri në shtëpi; i riu i derdhi vajin mbi kryet, duke i thënë: “Kështu thotë Zoti, Perëndia i Izraelit: “Unë të vajos mbret të popullit të Zotit, të Izraelit.
And he roos, and entride into the closet. And thilk child schedde oile on the heed of hym, and seide, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Y haue anointid thee in to kyng on the puple of the Lord of Israel; and thou schalt smyte the hows of Achab,
7 Ti do të godasësh shtëpinë e Ashabit, zotit sate, kështu do të marr hak për gjakun që kanë derdhur profetët, shërbëtorë të mi, dhe për gjakun e tërë shërbëtorëve të Zotit, që është derdhur nga dora e Jezebelit.
thi lord, that Y venge the blood of my seruauntis prophetis, and the blood of alle the seruauntis of the Lord, of the hond of Jezabel.
8 Tërë shtëpia e Ashabit do të shuhet dhe unë do të shfaros nga kjo shtëpi tërë meshkujt, skllevër apo të lirë, që janë në Izrael.
And Y schal lese al the hows of Achab, and Y schal sle of the hows of Achab a pissere to the wal, and closid, and the laste in Israel.
9 Kështu do ta katandis shtëpinë e Ashabit si shtëpinë e Joreboamit, birit të Nebatit, dhe si atë të Baashas, birit të Ahijahut.
And Y schal yyue the hows of Achab as the hows of Jeroboam, sone of Nabat, and as the hous of Baasa, sone of Ahia.
10 Qentë do të hanë Jezebelin në fushën e Jezreelit, dhe nuk do të ketë njeri që ta varrosë””. Pastaj i riu hapi portën dhe iku me vrap.
Also doggis schulen ete Jezabel in the feeld of Jezrael; and `noon schal be that schal birie hir. And `the child openyde the dore, and fledde.
11 Kur Jehu doli nga shërbëtorët e zotit të tij, një nga këta e pyeti: “A shkon çdo gjë mirë? Pse ai i marrë erdhi te ty?”. Ai u përgjigj: “Ju e njihni njeriun dhe fjalët e tij!”.
Forsothe Hieu yede out to the seruauntis of his lord, whiche seiden to hym, Whether alle thingis ben riytfuli? What cam this wood man to thee? Which seide to hem, Ye knowen the man, and what he spak.
12 Por ata thanë: “S’është e vërtetë! Na e thuaj, pra!”. Jehu u përgjigj: “Ai më tha kështu e ashtu, duke deklaruar: Kështu thotë Zoti: “Unë të vajos mbret të Izraelit””.
And thei answeriden, It is fals; but more telle thou to vs. Which seide to hem, He spak these and these thingis to me, and seide, The Lord seith these thingis, Y haue anoyntid thee kyng on Israel.
13 Atëherë ata shpejtuan të merrnin secili mantelin e tij dhe ta shtrijnë poshtë tij në po ato shkallëza; pastaj i ranë borisë dhe thanë: “Jehu është mbret!”.
Therfor thei hastiden, and ech man took his mentil, and puttide vndir hise feet bi the licnesse of a trone. And thei sungen with a trumpe, and seiden, Hieu schal regne.
14 Kështu Jehu, bir i Josafatit, që ishte i biri i Nimshit, kurdisi një komplot kundër Joramit. (Por Jorami, me tërë Izraelin, ishte duke mbrojtur Ramothin e Galaadit kundër Hazaelit, mbretit të Sirisë;
Therfor Hieu, sone of Josephat, sone of Namsi, swoor to gidere ayens Joram. Forsothe Joram hadde bisegid Ramoth of Galaad, he and al Israel, ayens Azael, kyng of Sirie.
15 pastaj mbreti Joram ishte kthyer nga Jezreeli për të shpëtuar plagët që i kishin shkaktuar Sirët ndërsa luftonte kundër Hazaelit, mbretit të Sirisë). Jehu tha: “Në rast se mendoni në të njëjtën mënyrë, asnjeri të mos dalë nga qyteti për të njoftuar Jezreelin”.
And he turnede ayen to be heelid in Jezrael for woundis; for men of Sirie hadden smyte hym fiytynge ayens Azael, kyng of Sirie. And Hieu seide, If it plesith you, no man go out fleynge fro the citee, lest he go, and telle in Jezrael.
16 Pastaj Jehu hipi mbi një qerre dhe u nis për në Jezreel, sepse aty ndodhej i sëmurë Jorami, dhe Ashaziahu, mbret i Judës, kishte zbritur për të vizituar Joramin.
And he stiede, and yede forth in to Jezrael; for Joram was sijk there, and Ocozie, kyng of Juda, cam doun to visite Joram.
17 Roja që rrinte mbi kullën e Jezreelit vuri re ushtrinë e madhe të Jehut që vinte dhe tha: “Shoh një grumbull të madh!”. Jorami urdhëroi: “Merr një kalorës dhe çoje t’i takojë për t’i pyetur: “A sillni paqen?””.
Therfor a spiere, that stood aboue a tour of Jezrael, siy the multitude of Hieu comynge, and he seide, Y se a multitude. And Joram seide, Take thou a chare, and sende in to the metyng of hem; and seie the goere, Whether alle thingis ben riytfuli?
18 Atëherë një njeri i hipur mbi kalë u doli përpara dhe u tha: “Kështu pyet mbreti: “A sillni paqe?””. Jehu u përgjigj: “Ç’të hyn në punë paqja? Kalo prapa dhe ndiqmë”. Roja njoftoi duke thënë: “Lajmëtari arriti tek ata, por nuk po kthehet”.
Therfor he, that stiede on the chare, yede in to the meetyng of hym, and seide, The kyng seith these thingis, Whether alle thingis ben peesid? And Hieu seide to hym, What to thee and to pees? Passe thou, and sue me. And the aspiere telde, and seide, the messanger cam to hem, and he turneth not ayen.
19 Atëherë Jorami dërgoi një kalorës të dytë, i cili me të arritur tek ata, tha: “Kështu pyet mbreti: “A sillni paqen?”. Jehu u përgjigj: “Ç’të hyn në punë paqja? Kalo prapa dhe ndiqmë”.
Also the kyng sente the secounde chare of horsis, and he cam to hem, and seide, The kyng seith these thingis, Whether pees is? And Hieu seide, What to thee and to pees? Passe thou, and sue me.
20 Roja njoftoi duke thënë: “Lajmëtari ka arritur tek ata, por nuk po kthehet. Mënyra e të ngarit të qerres është ajo e Jehut, birit të Nimshit, sepse e nget si i çmëndur”.
Sotheli the aspiere telde, and seide, He cam `til to hem, and he turneth not ayen; forsothe the goyng is as the goyng of Hieu, sone of Namsi; sothely he goith faste.
21 Atëherë Jorami tha: “Përgatitni qerren!”. Kështu i përgatitën qerren. Pastaj Jorami, mbret i Izraelit dhe Ashaziahu, mbret i Judës, dolën secili me qerren e vet për t’i dalë përpara Jehut dhe e gjetën në fushën e Nabothit të Jezreelit.
And Joram seide, Ioyn ye a chare. And thei ioyneden his chare. And Joram, kyng of Israel, yede out, and Ocozie, kyng of Juda, yede out, ech in his chare; and thei yeden out in to the meetyng of Hieu, and thei founden hym in the feeld of Naboth of Jezrael.
22 Kur Jorami pa Jehun, i tha: “A sjell paqen, Jehu?”. Jehu u përgjigj: “Ç’paqe mund të ketë deri sa vazhdojnë kurvëritë e nënës sate Jezebel dhe magjitë e shumta të saj?”.
And whanne Joram hadde seyn Hieu, he seide, Hieu, `is pees? And he answeride, What pees? Yit the fornycaciouns of Jezabel, thi modir, and many poisenyngis of hir ben in strengthe.
23 Atëherë Jorami e ktheu drejtimin e qerres dhe iku me vrap duke i thënë Ashaziahut: “Tradhëti, Ashaziah!”.
Forsothe Joram turnede his hond, and fledde, and seide to Ocozie, Tresouns! tresouns!
24 Por Jehu e ndau harkun me të gjithë forcën e tij dhe e goditi Joramin midis shpatullave; shigjeta i shpoi zemrën dhe ai u plandos në qerren e tij.
Ocozie. Forsothe Hieu bente a bouwe with the hond, and smoot Joram bitwixe the schuldris, and the arowe yede out thoruy his herte; and anoon he felde doun in his chare.
25 Pastaj Jehu i tha Bidkarit, ndihmësit të tij: “Merre dhe hidhe në kampin e Nabothit të Jezreelit sepse më kujtohet, kur ti dhe unë shkonim me kalë bashkë me suitën e Ashabit, atit të tij, Zoti shqiptoi kundër tij këtë orakulli:
And Hieu seide to Badacher duyk, Take thou awei, cast forth hym in the feeld of Naboth of Jezrael; for Y haue mynde, whanne Y and thou saten in the chare, and suede Achab, the fadir of hym, that the Lord reiside on hym this birthun, and seide, If not for the blood of Naboth,
26 “Dje me siguri pashë gjakun e Nabothit dhe gjakun e bijve të tij”, thotë Zoti, “dhe unë do të të shpërblej në po këtë fushë”, thotë Zoti! Kape, pra, dhe hidhe në fushë, sipas fjalës së Zotit”.
and for the blood of hise sones, which Y siy yistirdai, seith the Lord, Y schal yeeld to thee in this feeld, seith the Lord. Now therfor do awei him, and cast forth him in the feeld, bi the word of the Lord.
27 Duke parë këtë, Ashaziahu, mbret i Judës, iku me vrap nëpër rrugën e shtëpisë me kopsht, por Jehu, iu ndjek prapa dhe tha: “Bjerini, edhe atij me qerre”. Dhe e gjuajtën në të përpjetën e Gurit, që është afër Ibleamit. Por ai iku në Megido, ku vdiq.
Forsothe Ocozie, king of Juda, siy this, and fledde bi the weie of the hows of the gardyn; and Hieu pursuede hym, and seide, Also smyte ye this man in his chare. And thei smytiden hym in the stiyng of Gaber, which is bisidis Jeblaam; and he fledde into Mageddo, and was deed there.
28 Atëherë shërbëtorët e tij e çuan mbi një qerre në Jeruzalem dhe e varrosën në varrin e tij bashkë me etërit e tij, në qytetin e Davidit.
And hise seruauntis puttiden hym on his chare, and brouyten hym in to Jerusalem; and thei birieden hym in a sepulcre with hise fadris, in the citee of Dauid.
29 Ashaziahu kishte filluar të mbretëronte mbi Judë, vitin e dymbëdhjetë të Joramit, birit të Ashabit.
In the eleuenthe yeer of Joram, sone of Achab, kyng of Israel, Ocozie regnede on Juda.
30 Kur Jehu arriti në Jezreel, Jezebeli e mori vesh. Atëherë filloi të zbukurojë sytë, rregulloi flokët e doli në dritare për të parë.
And Hieu cam in to Jezrael. Forsothe whanne his entryng was herd, Jezabel peyntide hir iyen with oynement of wymmen, and ournede hir heed;
31 Ndërsa Jehu po hynte në portë, ajo i tha: “A sjell paqen, Zimri, vrasës i zotit sate?”.
and sche bihelde bi a wyndow Hieu entrynge bi the yate, and sche seide, Whether pees may be to Zamri, that kyllide his lord?
32 Jehu ngriti sytë nga dritarja dhe tha: “Kush është me mua? Kush?”. Dy ose tre eunikë dolën në dritare duke shikuar nga ai.
And Hieu reiside his face to the wyndow, and seide, What womman is this? And tweyne ether thre chaumbirleyns bowiden hem silf to hym, and seiden to hym, This is thilke Jezabel.
33 Ai tha: “Hidheni poshtë!”. Ata e hodhën poshtë, dhe pak gjak i saj ra mbi murin dhe mbi kuajt; dhe Jehu kaloi mbi të.
And he seide to hem, Caste ye hir doun. And thei `castiden doun hir; and the wal was bispreynt with blood, and the howues of horsis, that `to tredden hir.
34 Pastaj hyri brenda, hëngri dhe piu; në fund tha: “Shkoni të shihni atë grua të mallkuar dhe varroseni, sepse është bijë mbreti”.
And whanne he hadde entrid to ete and drynke, he seide, Go ye, and se thilke cursid womman, and birie ye hir, for sche is a kyngis douyter.
35 Shkuan, pra, ta varrosin, por gjetën prej saj vetëm kafkën, këmbët dhe pëllëmbët e duarve.
And whanne thei hadden go to birie hir, thei founden not, no but the sculle, and the feet, and the endis of hondis;
36 U kthyen t’i tregonin gjendjen Jehut, që tha: “Kjo është fjala e Zotit e shqiptuar me anë të shërbëtorit të tij Elia, Tishbitit, kur tha: “Qentë kanë për të ngrënë mishin e Jezebelit në fushën e Jezreelit;
and thei turneden ayen, and telden to hym. And Hieu seide, It is the word of the Lord, which he spak bi his seruaunt, Elie `of Thesbi, and seide, Doggis schulen ete the fleisch of Jezabel in the feeld of Jezrael;
37 kufoma e Jezebelit do të jetë në fushën e Jezreelit si pleh në sipërfaqen e tokës; kështu nuk do të mundin të thonë: Këtu prehet Jezebeli””.
and the fleischis of Jezabel schulen be as `a toord on the face of erthe in the feeld of Jezrael, so that men passynge forth seie, Lo! this is thilke Jezabel.
