1 Eliseu i tha gruas, djalin e së cilës e kishte ringjallur: “Çohu dhe shko jashtë, ti me gjithë familjen tënde, për të banuar ku të mundesh, sepse Zoti ka vendosur të pllakosë zia, që do të zgjasë shtatë vjet në vend”.
Forsothe Elisee spak to the womman, whose sone he made to lyue, and he seide, Rise thou, and go, bothe thou and thin hows, and `go in pilgrimage, where euer thou schalt fynde; for the Lord schal clepe hungur, and it schal come on the lond bi seuene yeer.
2 Kështu gruaja u ngrit dhe veproi sipas fjalës së njeriut të Perëndisë; iku me familjen e saj dhe banoi në vendin e Filistejve shtatë vjet.
And sche roos, and dide bi the word of the man of God; and sche yede with hir hows, and was in pilgrimage in the lond of Philistym many daies.
3 Si kaluan shtatë vjet, gruaja u kthye nga vendi i Filistejve dhe shkoi te mbreti për t’i kërkuar shtëpinë dhe tokat e veta.
And whanne seuene yeer weren endid, the womman turnede ayen fro the lond of Philisteis; and sche yede out, to axe the kyng for her hows, and hir feeldis.
4 Mbreti ishte duke folur me Gehazin, shërbëtorin e njeriut të Perëndisë, dhe i thoshte: “Tregomë, të lutem, tërë veprat e mëdha që ka bërë Eliseu”.
Sotheli the kyng spak with Giezi, child of the man of God, and seide, Telle thou to me alle the grete dedis whiche Elisee dide.
5 Pikërisht, ndërsa ai i tregonte mbretit se si Eliseu e kishte ringjallur të vdekurin, ja ku u paraqit gruaja, së cilës ai i kishte ringjallur të birin, për t’i kërkuar mbretit shtëpinë dhe tokat e veta. Atëherë Gehazi tha: “O mbret, o imzot, kjo është gruaja dhe ky është biri që Eliseu ka ringjallur”.
And whanne he telde to the kyng, hou Elisee hadde reiside a deed man, the womman apperide, whos sone he hadde maad to lyue, and sche criede to the kyng for hir hows, and for hir feeldis. And Giesi seide, My lord the king, this is the womman, and this is hir sone, whom Elisee reiside.
6 Mbreti e pyeti gruan dhe ajo i tregoi ngjarjen; atëherë mbreti ngarkoi një funksionar, të cilit i tha: “Ktheja tërë atë që i përkasin dhe të gjitha të ardhurat e tokave, nga dita e largimit të saj nga vendi ynë deri më tani”.
And the kyng axide the womman, and sche tolde to hym, that the thingis weren sothe. And the kyng yaf to hir o chaumburleyn, and seide, Restore thou to hir alle thingis that ben hern, and alle fruytis of the feeldis, fro the dai in which she left the lond `til to present tyme.
7 Pastaj Eliseu shkoi në Damask. Ben-Hadadi, mbret i Sirisë, ishte i sëmurë dhe e njoftuan: “Njeriu i Perëndisë ka ardhur deri këtu”.
Also Elisee cam to Damask, and Benadab, kyng of Sirie, was sijk; and thei telden to hym, and seiden, The man of God cam hidur.
8 Atëherë mbreti i tha Hazaelit: “Merr me vete një dhuratë dhe shko të takosh njeriun e Perëndisë, dhe këshillohu nëpërmjet tij me Zotin, duke thënë: “A do të shërohem nga kjo sëmundje?””.
And the kyng seide to Azael, Take with thee yiftis, and go thou in to the meetyng of the man of God, and `counsele thou bi hym the Lord, and seie thou, Whether Y may ascape fro this `sikenesse of me?
9 Kështu Hazaeli shkoi të takohet me Eliseun duke sjellë si dhuratë gjërat më të mira të Damaskut: një ngarkesë prej dyzet devesh. Pastaj ai vajti, u paraqit tek ai dhe i tha: “Biri yt Ben-Hadadi, mbret i Sirisë, më ka dërguar te ti për të pyetur: “A do të shërohem nga kjo sëmundje?””.
Therfor Azael yede in to the meetyng of hym, and hadde with hym silf yiftis, and alle the goodis of Damask, the burthuns of fourti camels. And whanne he hadde stonde bifor Elisee, he seide, Thi sone, Benadab, kyng of Sirie, sente me to thee, and seide, Whether Y may be helid of this `sikenesse of me?
10 Eliseu iu përgjigj: “Shko t’i thuash: “Do të shërohesh me siguri”. Por Zoti më bën të shoh se ai ka për të vdekur me siguri”.
And Elisee seide, Go thou, and seye to hym, Thou schalt be heelid; forsothe the Lord schewide to me that he schal die bi deth.
11 Pastaj ai e ngurtësoi fytyrën me një shikim të ngulët deri sa u skuq; pastaj njeriu i Perëndisë filloi të qajë.
And he stood with hym, and he was disturblid, `til to the castyng doun of cheer; and the man of God wepte.
12 Atëherë Hazaeli pyeti: “Pse po qan zoti im?”. Ai u përgjigj: “Sepse e di të keqen që do t’u bësh bijve të Izraelit: do t’u vësh flakën fortesave të tyre, do të vrasësh me shpatë të rinjtë e tyre, do t’i bësh copë-copë fëmijët e tyre dhe do t’i çash barkun grave me barrë”.
`To whom Azael seide, Whi wepith my lord? And he answeride, For Y woot what yuelis thou schalt do to the sones of Israel; thou schalt brenne bi fier the strengthid citees of hem, and thou schalt sle bi swerd the yonge men of hem, and thou schalt hurtle doun the litle children of hem, and thou schalt departe the women with childe.
13 Hazaeli tha: “Por ç’është, vallë shërbëtori yt, një qen, që të bëj këtë hata?”. Eliseu u përgjigj: “Zoti më bën të shoh që ti do të bëhesh mbret i Sirisë”.
And Azael seide, What sotheli am Y, thi seruaunt, a dogge, that Y do this grete thing? And Elisee seide, The Lord schewide to me that thou schalt be kyng of Sirie.
14 Pastaj Hazaeli u largua nga Eliseu dhe u kthye te zoti e tij, që e pyeti: “Çfarë të tha Eliseu?”. Ai u përgjigj: “Më tha që do të shërohesh me siguri”.
And whanne he hadde departid fro Elisee, he cam to his lord; which seide to Azael, What seide Elisee to thee? And he answeride, Elisee seide to me, Thou schalt resseyue helthe.
15 Të nesërmen Hazaeli mori një batanije e zhyti në ujë dhe e shtriu mbi fytyrën e mbretit që vdiq. Kështu Hazaeli mbretëroi në vend të tij.
And whanne `the tother day hadde come, Azael took the cloth on the bed, and bischedde with watir, and spredde abrood on the face of hym; and whanne he was deed, Azael regnede for hym.
16 Vitin e pestë të Joramit, birit të Ashabit, mbret i Izraelit, Jehorami, bir i Jozafatit, mbret i Judës, filloi të mbretërojë mbi Judën.
In the fyuethe yeer of Joram, sone of Achab, kyng of Israel, and of Josephat, kyng of Juda, Joram, sone of Josephat, kyng of Juda, regnede.
17 Ai ishte tridhjetë e dy vjeç kur filloi të mbretërojë, dhe mbretëroi tetë vjet në Jeruzalem.
He was of two and thretti yeer whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede eiyte yeer in Jerusalem.
18 Ndoqi rrugën e mbretërve të Izraelit, ashtu si kishte bërë shtëpia e Ashabit, sepse gruaja e tij ishte një bijë e Ashabit, dhe bëri atë që është e keqe në sytë e Zotit.
And he yede in the weies of the kyngis of Israel, as the hows of Achab hadde go; for the douyter of Achab was his wijf; and he dide that, that is yuel in the siyt of the Lord.
19 Megjithatë Zoti nuk deshi ta shkatërronte Judën, për hir të dashurisë që kishte për Davidin, shërbëtorin e tij, sepse i kishte premtuar t’u jepte një llambë për gjithnjë atij dhe bijve të tij.
Forsothe the Lord nolde distrie Juda, for Dauid, his seruaunt, as he `hadde bihiyt to Dauid, that he schulde yyue to hym a lanterne, and to hise sones in alle daies.
20 Gjatë ditëve të mbretërimit të tij, Edomi ngriti krye kundër pushtetit të Judës dhe zgjodhi edhe një mbret.
In tho daies Edom, `that is, Ydumee, yede awei, that it schulde not be vndur Juda; and made a kyng to it silf.
21 Atëherë Jorami shkoi në Tsair me gjithë qerret e tij; pastaj natën u ngrit dhe mundi Edomitët që e kishin rrethuar dhe kapitenët e qerreve, ndërsa njerëzit mundën të ikin në çadrat e tyre.
And Joram cam to Seira, and alle the charis with hym; and he roos bi nyyt, and smoot Ydumeis, that cumpassiden hym, and the princis of charis; sotheli the puple fledde in to her tabernaclis.
22 Kështu Edomi ka qenë i panënshtruar ndaj pushtetit të Judës deri më ditën e sotme. Në atë kohë edhe Libnahu ngriti krye.
Therfor Edom yede awei, that it was not vndur Juda `til to this day; thanne also Lobna yede awey in that tyme.
23 Pjesa tjetër e bëmave të Joramit dhe të gjitha ato që bëri a nuk janë të shkruara në librin e Kronikave të mbretërve të Judës?
Forsothe the residues of wordis of Joram, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kingis of Juda?
24 Kështu Joramin e zuri gjumi bashkë me etërit e tij dhe u varros bashkë me ta në qytetin e Davidit. Në vend të tij mbretëroi i biri, Ashaziahu.
And Joram slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid; and Ocozie, his sone, regnede for hym.
25 Në vitin e dymbëdhjetë të Joramit, birit të Ashabit, mbreti i Izraelit, filloi të mbretërojë Ashaziahu, bir i Jerohamit, si mbret i Judës.
In the tweluethe yeer of Joram, sone of Achab, kyng of Israel, Ocozie, sone of Joram, kyng of Juda, regnede.
26 Ashaziahu ishte njëzet e dy vjeç kur filloi të mbretërojë, dhe mbretëroi një vit në Jeruzalem. E ëma quhej Athaliah, ishte mbesa e Omrit, mbretit të Izraelit.
Ocozie, the sone of Joram, was of two and twenti yeer whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede o yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his moder was Athalia, the douyter of Amry, kyng of Israel.
27 Ai vazhdoi rrugën e shtëpisë së Ashabit dhe bëri atë që është e keqe në sytë e Zotit, ashtu si shtëpia e Ashabit, sepse ishte i lidhur me marrëdhënie krushqie me shtëpinë e Ashabit.
And he yede in the waies of the hows of Achab, and dide that, that is yuel, bifor the Lord, as the hows of Achab dide; for he was hosebonde of a douyter of the hows of Achab.
28 Me Joramin, birin e Ashabit, ai shkoi të luftojë kundër Hazaelit, mbretit të Sirisë, në Ramoth të Galaadit; por Sirët plagosën Joramin;
Also he yede with Joram, sone of Achab, to fiyt ayens Azael, kyng of Sirie, in Ramoth of Galaad; and men of Sirie woundiden Joram.
29 atëherë mbreti Joram u kthye në Jezreel për të mjekuar plagët që kishte marrë nga Sirët në Ramah, kur luftonte kundër Hazaelit, mbretit të Sirisë. Dhe Ashaziahu, bir i Jerohamit mbret i Judës, zbriti në Jezreel për të parë Joramin, birin e Ashabit, sepse ky ishte i sëmurë.
Which turnede ayen, to be heelid in Jezrael; for men of Sirie woundiden hym in Ramoth, fiytynge ayens Azael, kyng of Sirye. Forsothe Ocozie, sone of Joram, the kyng of Juda, cam doun to se Joram, sone of Achab, in to Jezrael, that was sijk there.
