2 e Korintasve 11
1 Oh, sa do të dëshiroja që ju të duronit pak marrëzi me mua! Po në fakt, ju më duroni.
I would that ye could bear with me a little, that I might talk foolishly: and indeed, bear ye with me.
2 Jam xheloz për ju me xhelozinë e Perëndisë, sepse ju fejova me një burrë, që t’ju nxjerr para Krishtit si virgjëreshë të dlirë.
For I am jealous over you, with a godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to a husband as a chaste virgin, whom I would present to the Messiah.
3 Por druaj se, ashtu si gjarpëri e gënjeu Evën me dinakërinë e tij, kështu edhe mendja juaj të mos prishet duke u shmangur nga thjeshtësia ndaj Krishtit.
But I fear, lest, as the serpent beguiled Eve by his craftiness, so your minds should be corrupted from simplicity towards the Messiah.
4 Sepse, po të vinte dikush dhe t’ju predikonte një Jezus tjetër, që ne nuk e kemi predikuar, ose, po të merrnit një frymë tjetër që nuk e keni marrë, ose një ungjill tjetër që nuk e keni pranuar, do ta duronit fort mirë.
For if he that cometh to you, had proclaimed to you another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed; or if ye had received another Spirit, which ye have not received; or another gospel, which ye have not accepted; ye might well have given assent.
5 Unë mendoj se nuk kam qenë aspak më poshtë nga apostujt më të shquar.
For, I suppose, I came not short of those legates who most excel.
6 Dhe, megjithëse jam i thjeshtë në të folur, nuk jam i tillë në dituri; madje me të gjitha mënyrat dhe në të gjitha gjërat jua kemi treguar.
For, though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but in all things we have been manifest among you.
7 Mos vallë bëra mëkat duke e ulur veten time që të lartoheni ju, sepse ju kam predikuar falas ungjillin e Perëndisë?
Did I indeed commit an offence, by humbling myself that ye might be exalted? and by proclaiming the gospel of God to you gratis?
8 Unë shfyrtësova kishat e tjera, duke marrë një rrogë që t’ju shërbej juve.
And I robbed other churches, and I took pay of them for ministering to you.
9 Dhe, kur isha midis jush dhe isha nevojtar, nuk iu bëra barrë askujt; sepse nevojat e mia i plotësuan vëllezërit që erdhën nga Maqedonia; dhe në çdo gjë u ruajta që të mos ju bëhem barrë ju, edhe për të ardhmen do të ruhem.
And when I came among you and was needy, I was burdensome to none of you; for the brethren who came from Macedonia, supplied my wants: and in all things I kept myself, and I will keep myself, from being burdensome to you.
10 Duke qenë se e vërteta e Krishtit është në mua, kjo mburrje, përsa më përket mua, nuk do të më ndalohet në vendet e Akaisë.
As the truth of the Messiah is in me, this glorying shall not be made vain as to me in the regions of Achaia.
11 Pse? Ndoshta sepse nuk ju dua? Perëndia e di.
Why? Because I do not love you? God knoweth.
12 Por atë që bëj, do ta bëj përsëri, që t’u pres çdo shkas atyre që duan shkas, që ata të gjenden si edhe ne, në atë gjë, për të cilën mburren.
But what I do, that also I will do; that I may cut off occasion, from them who seek occasion: so that in the thing wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
13 Të tillë apostuj të rremë, janë punëtorë hileqarë, që shndërrohen në apostuj të Krishtit.
For they are false legates, crafty workers, and feign themselves to be legates of the Messiah.
14 Dhe nuk është për t’u çuditur, sepse Satanai vet shndërrohet në engjëll drite.
And in this there is nothing strange. For if Satan feigneth himself an angel of light,
15 Nuk është, pra, gjë e madhe, nëse edhe punëtorët e tij shndërrohen në punëtorë (marrin trajtën e punëtorëve) të drejtësisë, fundi i të cilëve do të jetë sipas veprave të tyre.
it is no great thing if his ministers feign themselves ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
16 Po e them përsëri: Askush të mos mendojë se jam i marrë; në mos, më pranoni edhe si të marrë, që edhe unë të mburrem pakëz.
Again I say, let no one think of me, as being a fool: or if otherwise, receive me as a fool, that I may glory a little.
17 Atë që po them në mburrjen e guximit tim, nuk po e them sipas Zotit, por në marrëzi.
What I am now saying, I say not in our Lord, but as in folly, in this matter of glorying.
18 Duke qenë se shumë vetë mburren sipas mishit, edhe unë do të mburrem.
Because many glory after the flesh, I also will glory.
19 Sepse ju që jeni të ditur, i duroni lehtë të marrët.
For ye hear with indulgence them who lack reason, seeing ye are wise.
20 Sepse tashmë ju duroni, nëse dikush ju robëron, nëse dikush ju gllabëron, nëse dikush ju grabit, nëse dikush krenohet, nëse dikush ju godet në fytyrë.
And ye give ear to him, who putteth you in bondage; and to him, who devoureth you; and to him, who taketh from you; and to him, who exalteth himself over you; and to him, who smiteth you in the face.
21 Flas për turpin tim, sikurse ne të ishim të dobët; megjithatë në çdo gjë që dikush guxon, po flas si i marrë, marr guxim edhe unë.
I speak as if under contempt: I speak as if we were impotent, through deficiency of understanding; that in whatever thing any one is presuming, I also am presuming.
22 Janë ata Hebrenj? Jam edhe unë! Janë ata Izraelitë? Jam edhe unë! janë ata pasardhës të Abrahamit? Jam edhe unë.
If they are Hebrews, so I also: or if they are Israelites, I also. If they are the seed of Abraham, I also.
23 Janë ata shërbëtorë të Krishtit? Po flas si i pamend, unë jam edhe më tepër si këta; në mundime më tepër, në goditje më tepër, në burgje më tepër dhe shpesh në rrezik për vdekje.
If they are ministers of the Messiah, (in defect of understanding, I say it, ) I am superior to them: in toils more than they, in stripes more than they, in bonds more than they, in deaths many times.
24 Nga Judenjtë mora pesë herë nga dyzetë kamxhike pa një.
By the Jews, five times was I scourged, each time with forty stripes save one.
25 Tri herë më rrahën me shkopinj, një herë më qëlluan me gurë, tri herë m’u mbyt anija në det, kalova një ditë e një natë në humnerë.
Three times was I beaten with rods: at one time I was stoned: three times I was in shipwreck, by day and by night; I have been in the sea, without a ship.
26 Në udhëtime të shpeshta në rreziqe lumenjsh, në rreziqe kusarësh, në rrezik nga ana e bashkëtdhetarëve, rreziqe nga ana johebrenjve, rreziqe në qytet, rreziqe në shkretëtirë, rreziqe në det, rreziqe midis vëllezërve të rremë,
In journeyings many, in peril by rivers, in peril by robbers, in peril from my kindred, in peril from Gentiles: I have been in peril in cities; I have been in peril in the desert, in peril in the sea, in peril from false brethren.
27 në lodhje e në mundim, në netët pa gjumë, në uri e në etje, shpesh herë në agjërime, në të ftohtë dhe në të zhveshur.
In toil and weariness, in much watching, in hunger and thirst, in much fasting, in cold and nakedness:
28 Përveç këtyre gjërave të jashtme, ajo që më mundon çdo ditë është kujdesja për të gjitha kishat.
besides many other things, and the thronging around me every day, and my anxiety for all the churches.
29 Kush është i dobët, që të mos jem edhe unë? Kush është skandalizuar dhe unë të mos përvëlohem?
Who becometh weak, and I become not weak? Who is stumbled, and I burn not?
30 Në qoftë se duhet të mburrem, unë do të mburrem me ato që kanë të bëjnë me dobësinë time.
If I must glory, I will glory in my infirmities.
31 Perëndia dhe Ati i Zotit tonë Jezu Krisht, që është i bekuar përjetë, e di se unë nuk gënjej. (aiōn g165)
God, the Father of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, blessed for ever and ever, he knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn g165)
32 Në Damask, qeveritari i mbretit Areta e ruante qytetin e Damaskasve për të më zënë,
At Damascus, the commander of the army of Aretas the king, guarded the city of the Damascenes, to seize me.
33 por nga një dritare më ulën përgjatë murit me një shportë, dhe shpëtova nga duart e tij.
And from a window, in a basket, they let me down from the wall, and I escaped from his hands.
