2 i Kronikave 13

1 Në vitin e tetëmbëdhjetë të mbretërisë së Jeroboamit, Abijahu filloi të mbretërojë në Judë.

In year eight-teen of the king Jeroboam and he became king Abijah over Judah.

2 Ai mbretëroi tre vjet në Jeruzalem. E ëma quhej Mikajah; ishte bija e Urielit nga Gibeahu. Pati luftë midis Abijahut dhe Jeroboamit.

Three years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Micaiah [the] daughter of Uriel from Gibeah and war it was between Abijah and between Jeroboam.

3 Abijahu u përgatit për betejën me një ushtri me luftëtarë trima, katërqind mijë njerëz të zgjedhur; edhe Jeroboami u radhit në rend beteje kundër tij me tetëqind mijë burra të zgjedhur, njerëz të fortë dhe trima.

And he bound Abijah the battle with an army of mighty [men] of war four hundred thousand man chosen. And Jeroboam he drew up in formation with him battle with eight hundred thousand man chosen mighty of strength.

4 Duke qëndruar në malin e Tsemaraimit, që ndodhet në krahinën malore të Efraimit, Abijahu tha: “Më dëgjoni, Jeroboam dhe tërë Izraeli!

And he stood Abijah on [the] mountain of Zemaraim which [is] in [the] hill country of Ephraim and he said listen to me O Jeroboam and all Israel.

5 A nuk e dini vallë që Zoti, Perëndia i Izraelit, ia ka dhënë për gjithnjë Davidit mbretërimin mbi Izrael, atij dhe bijve të tij, me një besëlidhje kripe?

¿ Not [belong] to you [does] to know that Yahweh - [the] God of Israel he has given kingship to David over Israel for ever to him and to descendants his a covenant of salt.

6 Megjithatë Jeroboami, bir i Nebatit, shërbëtor i Salomonit, birit të Davidit, u ngrit dhe u rebelua kundër zotërisë së tij.

And he arose Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat [the] servant of Solomon [the] son of David and he rebelled on master his.

7 Rreth tij ishin mbledhur njerëz të neveritshëm dhe horra, që ishin bërë të fortë kundër Roboamit, birit të Salomonit, kur Roboami ishte i ri dhe pa përvojë, dhe nuk ishte mjaft i fortë sa t’u rezistonte atyre.

And they gathered to him men empty sons of worthlessness and they proved themselves strong over Rehoboam [the] son of Solomon and Rehoboam he was a young man and weak of heart and not he showed himself strong before them.

8 Tani ju mendoni të mund t’i rezistoni mbretërisë të Zotit, që është në duart e bijve të Davidit, sepse jeni një shumicë e madhe dhe keni me vete viçat e artë që Jeroboami ka bërë për ju si perënditë tuaja.

And now - you [are] saying to show yourselves strong before [the] kingdom of Yahweh in [the] hand of [the] descendants of David and you [are] a multitude great and [are] with you calves of gold which he made for you Jeroboam to gods.

9 A nuk keni dëbuar vallë priftërinjtë e Zotit, bij të Aaronit, dhe Levitët dhe nuk jeni bërë priftërinj si popujt e vendeve të tjera? Kështu kushdo që vjen me një dem të vogël dhe me shtatë desh për t’u shenjtëruar, mund të bëhet prift i atyre që nuk janë perëndi.

¿ Not have you driven out [the] priests of Yahweh [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites and you have appointed for yourselves priests like [the] peoples of the lands every [one who] comes to fill own hand his with a young bull a young one of cattle and rams seven and he will become a priest to not gods.

10 Sa për ne, Zoti është Perëndia ynë dhe ne nuk e kemi braktisur; priftërinjtë që i shërbejnë Zotit janë bij të Aaronit, ndërsa Levitët kryejnë detyrat e tyre.

And we Yahweh [is] God our and not we have forsaken him and [we are] priests serving Yahweh [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites [are] in the work.

11 Çdo mëngjes e çdo mbrëmje ata i ofrojnë Zotit olokauste dhe temjan erëmirë; për më tepër ata i vendosin bukët e paraqitjes në një tryezë të pastër, dhe çdo mbrëmje ndezin shandanin e artë me llambat e tij, sepse ne respektojmë urdhrin e Zotit, Perëndisë tonë, por ju e keni braktisur.

And [are] making smoke to Yahweh burnt offerings in the morning in the morning and in the evening in the evening and incense of perfume and [the] row of bread on the table clean and [the] lampstand of gold and lamps its to burn in the evening in the evening for [are] keeping we [the] duty of Yahweh God our and you you have forsaken him.

12 Dhe ja, vet Perëndia është me ne, mbi kryet tonë dhe priftërinjtë me buri kumbonjëse janë duke i rënë alarmit kundër jush. O bij të Izraelit, mos luftoni kundër Zotit, Perëndisë të etërve tuaj, sepse nuk do të keni sukses”.

And here! [is] with us at the head God - and priests his and [the] trumpets of the alarm to sound [the] battle signal on you O people of Israel may not you do battle with Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your for not you will succeed.

13 Ndërkaq Jeroboami me një pritë u mori krahët për t’i sulmuar; kështu ndërsa ai ishte radhitur para Judës, ata të pritës ndodheshin prapa tyre.

And Jeroboam he had caused to go round the ambush to come from behind them and they were to front of Judah and the ambush [was] from behind them.

14 Kur ata të Judës u kthyen, vunë re që beteja i priste si nga përpara ashtu dhe nga prapa. Atëherë i klithën Zotit dhe priftërinjtë u ranë borive.

And they turned Judah and there! [was] to them the battle before and behind and they cried out to Yahweh and the priests ([were] blowing a trumpet *Qk) on trumpets.

15 Pastaj njerëzit e Judës lëshuan një britmë dhe, ndërsa njerëzit e Judës ulërinin, ndodhi që Perëndia goditi Jeroboamin dhe tërë Izraelin përpara Abijahut dhe Judës.

And they sounded [the] battle signal [the] man of Judah and it was when sounded [the] battle signal [the] man of Judah and God he defeated Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

16 Kështu bijtë e Izraelit ikën përpara Judës, dhe Perëndia i dorëzoi në duart e tij.

And they fled [the] people of Israel from before Judah and he gave them God in hand their.

17 Abijahu dhe njerëzit e tij i mundën keq; nga radhët e Izraelitëve ranë të vdekur pesëqind mijë luftëtarë të zgjedhur.

And they struck down among them Abijah and people his a striking great and they fell slain of Israel five hundred thousand man chosen.

18 Kështu në atë kohë bijtë e Izraelit u poshtëruan, ndërsa bijtë e Judës u përforcuan sepse ishin mbështetur tek Zoti, Perëndia i etërve të tyre.

And they were humbled [the] people of Israel at the time that and they were strong [the] people of Judah for they depended on Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.

19 Abijahu e ndoqi Jeroboamin dhe i mori qytetet që vijojnë: Bethelin me fshatrat përreth, Jeshanahun me fshatrat përreth dhe Efraimin me fshatrat përreth.

And he pursued Abijah after Jeroboam and he captured from him cities Beth-el and daughters its and Jeshanah and daughters its and (Ephrayin *QK) and daughters its.

20 Kështu gjatë jetës së Abijahut, Jeroboami nuk e mblodhi më veten; pastaj Zoti e goditi dhe ai vdiq.

And not he retained [the] strength of Jeroboam again in [the] days of Abijah and he struck him Yahweh and he died.

21 Abijahu përkundrazi u bë i fuqishëm, mori katërmbëdhjetë gra dhe pati njëzet e dy djem dhe gjashtëmbëdhjetë vajza.

And he strengthened himself Abijah and he took for himself wives four-teen and he fathered twenty and two sons and six-teen daughters.

22 Pjesa tjetër e bëmave të Abijahut, sjellja dhe fjalët e tija janë përshkruar në kronikat e profetit Ido.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Abijah and ways his and words his [are] written in [the] record of the prophet Iddo.
