1 Thesalonikasve 1

1 Pali, Silvani dhe Timoteu, kishës së Thesalonikasve në Perëndinë Atë dhe në Zotin Jezu Krisht: paçi hir dhe paqe prej Perëndisë, Atit tonë, dhe prej Zotit Jezu Krisht.

Paul and Silvanus and Timothy To the church of the Thessalonians in God [the] Father and in [the] Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace (from of God Father of us and Lord Jesus Christ. *K)

2 Ne përherë e falënderojmë Perëndinë për ju të gjithë, duke ju kujtuar në lutjet tona,

We give thanks to God always concerning all of you mention (of you *k) making in the prayers of us,

3 duke kujtuar vazhdimisht veprën tuaj të besimit, mundimin e dashurisë suaj dhe qëndrueshmërinë e shpresës në Zotin tonë Jezu Krisht përpara Perëndisë, Atit tonë,

unceasingly remembering your work of faith and labor of love and the endurance of the hope of the Lord of us Jesus Christ before the God and Father of us;

4 duke ditur, vëllezër të dashur prej Perëndisë, të zgjedhurit tuaj,

knowing, brothers beloved by God, the election of you;

5 sepse ungjilli ynë nuk erdhi deri te ju vetëm me fjalë, por edhe me fuqi dhe me Frymë të Shenjtë, dhe me shumë bindje; ju e dini se si jemi sjellë në mes tuaj për hirin tuaj.

because the gospel of us not came to you in word only but also in power and in [the] Spirit Holy and with full assurance much even as you know what we were among you on account of you;

6 Dhe ju u bëtë imituesit tanë dhe të Zotit, duke e pranuar fjalën në mes të një pikëllimi të madh, me gëzimin e Frymës së Shenjtë,

And you yourselves imitators of us became and of the Lord having received the word in tribulation much with [the] joy of [the] Spirit Holy,

7 për t’u bërë kështu shëmbull për të gjithë besimtarët e Maqedonisë dhe të Akaisë.

so as for to became you (an example *N+KO) to all the believing [ones] in Macedonia and (in *no) Achaia.

8 Në fakt prej jush jehoi fjala e Perëndisë jo vetëm në Maqedoni dhe në Akai, por edhe në çdo vend u përhap besimi juaj tek Perëndia, sa që ne s’kemi nevojë të themi ndonjë gjë,

From you for has sounded forth the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and (in *no) Achaia, but (also *k) in every place the faith of you toward God has gone abroad, so as for not need to have us to say anything.

9 sepse vetë ata tregojnë për ne, si qe ardhja jonë ndër ju si u kthyet nga idhujt te Perëndia, për t’i shërbyer Perëndisë së gjallë e të vërtetë,

They themselves for concerning us report what reception (we had *N+kO) from you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve [the] God living and true

10 dhe për të pritur prej qiejve Birin e tij, të cilin ai e ngjalli prej së vdekurish, Jezusin, që na çliron nga zemërim që po vjen.

and to await the Son of Him from the heavens, whom He raised out from the dead, Jesus who is delivering us (from *N+kO) the wrath which is coming.
