1 i Samuelit 23

1 Pastaj i thanë Davidit: “Ja, Filistejtë janë duke luftuar kundër Kejlahut dhe po plaçkisnin lëmenjtë”.

And people told to David saying there! [the] Philistines [are] fighting against Keilah and they [are] plundering the threshing floors.

2 Kështu Davidi u këshillua me Zotin, duke thënë: “Të shkoj unë t’i mund këta Filistej?”. Zoti iu përgjegj me këto fjalë Davidit: “Shko, mundi Filistejtë dhe shpëto Kejlahun”.

And he enquired David by Yahweh saying ¿ will I go and will I strike? the Philistines these. And he said Yahweh to David go and you will strike the Philistines and you will deliver Keilah.

3 Por njerëzit e Davidit i thanë: “Ja, ne na ka zënë frika që këtu në Jude, si do të bëhet pastaj në rast se shkojmë në Kejlah kundër trupave të Filistejve?”.

And they said [the] men of David to him here! we here in Judah [are] fearful and indeed? if we will go Keilah against [the] battle lines of [the] Philistines.

4 Davidi u këshillua përsëri me Zotin dhe Zoti iu përgjegj dhe i tha: “Çohu, zbrit në Kejlah, sepse unë do t’i jap Filistejtë në duart e tua”.

And he repeated again David to enquire by Yahweh. And he answered him Yahweh and he said arise go down Keilah for I [am] about to give [the] Philistines in hand your.

5 Atëherë Davidi shkoi me njerëzit e tij në Kejlah, luftoi kundër Filistejve, ua mori bagëtinë dhe bëri kërdi të madhe në radhët e tyre. Kështu Davidi çliroi banorët e Kejlahut.

And he went David (and men his *QK) Keilah and he fought against the Philistines and he drove away livestock their and he defeated them a defeat great and he delivered David [the] inhabitants of Keilah.

6 Kur Abiathari, bir i Ahimelekut, u strehua pranë Davidit në Kejlah, solli me vete edhe efodin.

And it was when fled Abiathar [the] son of Ahimelech to David Keilah an ephod it came down in hand his.

7 Saulin e njoftuan që Davidi kishte arritur në Kejlah. Atëherë Sauli tha: “Perëndia e ka dorëzuar në duart e mia, sepse vajti të mbyllet në një qytet që ka porta dhe shule”.

And it was told to Saul that he had gone David Keilah and he said Saul he has alienated him God in hand my for he has shut himself up by going in a city of doors and bar[s].

8 Sauli mblodhi tërë popullin për luftë, për të zbritur në Kejlah dhe për të rrethuar Davidin dhe njerëzit e tij.

And he summoned Saul all the people for battle to go down Keilah to lay siege against David and against men his.

9 Kur Davidi mësoi që Sauli po kurdiste të keqen kundër tij, i tha priftit Abiathar: “Sille këtu efodin”.

And he knew David that on him Saul [was] plotting evil and he said to Abiathar the priest bring near! the ephod.

10 Pastaj Davidi tha: “O Zot, Perëndi i Izraelit, shërbëtori yt e ka kuptuar qartë që Sauli kërkon të vijë në Kejlah për ta shkatërruar qytetin për shkakun tim.

And he said David O Yahweh [the] God of Israel certainly he has heard servant your that [is] seeking Saul to come to Keilah to destroy the city because of me.

11 Krerët e Kejlahut a do të më dorëzojnë në duart e tij? A do të zbresë Sauli si ka dëgjuar shërbëtori yt? O Zot, Perëndi i Izraelit, bëja të ditur shërbëtorit tënd!”. Zoti u përgjegj: “Ka për të zbritur”.

¿ Will they deliver up me [the] citizens of Keilah in hand his ¿ will he come down Saul just as he has heard servant your O Yahweh [the] God of Israel tell please to servant your. And he said Yahweh he will come down.

12 Davidi pyeti akoma: “Krerët e Kejlahut a do të më dorëzojnë mua dhe njerëzit e mi në duart e Saulit?”. Zoti u përgjegj: “Do t’ju dorëzojnë”.

And he said David ¿ will they deliver up [the] citizens of Keilah me and men my in [the] hand of Saul and he said Yahweh they will deliver [you] up.

13 Atëherë Davidi dhe njerëzit e tij, rreth gjashtëqind veta, dolën nga Kejlahu dhe brodhën sa andej e këtej. Kur Sauli u njoftua që Davidi kishte ikur nga Kejlahu, ai hoqi dorë nga fushata e tij.

And he arose David and men his about six hundred man and they went out from Keilah and they went about at where they went about and to Saul it was told that he had escaped David from Keilah and he ceased to go forth.

14 Davidi banoi në fortesa të shkretëtirës dhe qëndroi në krahinën malore të shkretëtirës së Zifit. Sauli e kërkonte vazhdimisht, por Perëndia nuk ia dorëzoi në dorë.

And he dwelt David in the wilderness in the strongholds and he dwelt in the hill country in [the] wilderness of Ziph and he sought him Saul all the days and not he gave him God in hand his.

15 Davidi, duke ditur që Sauli ishte nisur për ta vrarë, mbeti në shkretëtirën e Zifit, në pyll.

And he saw David that he had come forth Saul to seek life his and David [was] in [the] wilderness of Ziph at Horesh.

16 Atëherë Jonathani, bir i Saulit, u ngrit dhe shkoi te Davidi në pyll; dhe e ndihmoi të gjejë forcë te Perëndia.

And he arose Jonathan [the] son of Saul and he went to David Horesh and he strengthened hand his in God.

17 Pastaj i tha: “Mos ki frikë, sepse Sauli, ati im, nuk do të arrijë të të shtjerë në dorë; ti do të mbretërosh mbi Izraelin dhe unë do të jem i dyti pas teje. Vetë Sauli, ati im, e di këtë”.

And he said to him may not you be afraid for not it will find you [the] hand of Saul father my and you you will reign over Israel and I I will become to you second in rank and also Saul father my [is] knowing [it is] thus.

18 Kështu të dy bënë një besëlidhje para Zotit; pas kësaj Davidi mbeti në pyll, kurse Jonathani shkoi në shtëpinë e tij.

And they made [the] two of them a covenant before Yahweh and he remained David at Horesh and Jonathan he went to house his.

19 Pastaj Zifejtë shkuan te Sauli në Gibeah dhe i thanë: “A nuk rri Davidi i fshehur në fortesa në pyll, mbi kodrën e Hakilahut që ndodhet në jug të shkretëtirës?

And they went up Ziphites to Saul Gibeah towards saying ¿ not [is] David hiding himself with us in the strongholds at Horesh on [the] hill of Hakilah which [is] from [the] south of Jeshimon.

20 Prandaj, o mbret, zbrit, sepse gjithë dëshira e shpirtit tënd është të zbresësh; do të mendojmë ne ta dorëzojmë në duart e mbretit”.

And now to all [the] desire of self your O king to come down come down and [belongs] to us to deliver up him in [the] hand of the king.

21 Sauli tha: “Qofshi të bekuar nga Zoti, sepse ju ka ardhur keq për mua!

And he said Saul [be] blessed you by Yahweh for you have had compassion on me.

22 Shkoni, ju lutem, dhe sigurohuni më mirë për të njohur dhe për të parë vendin ku strehohet, dhe kush e ka parë atje, sepse më thonë që ai është shumë dinak.

Go please prepare still and know and see place his where it is foot his who? has he seen him there for someone has said to me certainly he is crafty he.

23 Përpiquni të njihni të gjitha vendet e fshehta ku strehohet; pastaj kthehuni tek unë me lajme të sigurta dhe unë do të vij me ju. Kështu, në qoftë se ai është në atë vend, unë do ta kërkoj midis të gjithë mijërave të Judës”.

And see and know from all the hiding places where he hides himself there and you will return to me to a certain [thing] and I will go with you and it will be if there he [is] in the land and I will search out him among all [the] thousands of Judah.

24 Atëherë ata u ngritën dhe shkuan në Zif, përpara Saulit: por Davidi dhe njerëzit e tij ishin në shkretëtirën e Maonit, në Arabah, në jug të shkretëtirës.

And they arose and they went Ziph towards before Saul and David and men his [were] in [the] wilderness of Maon in the Arabah to [the] south of Jeshimon.

25 Kur Sauli dhe njerëzit e tij shkuan ta kërkojnë, Davidin e kishin lajmëruar; prandaj ai zbriti te shkëmbi dhe mbeti në shkretëtirën e Maonit. Kur e mori vesh Sauli, e ndoqi Davidin në shkretëtirën e Maonit.

And he went Saul and men his to seek [him] and people told to David and he went down the rock and he remained in [the] wilderness of Maon and he heard Saul and he pursued after David [the] wilderness of Maon.

26 Sauli ecte mbi një anë të malit, ndërsa Davidi me gjithë njerëzit e tij ecnin në anën tjetër. Kur Davidi po shpejtonte marshimin e tij për t’i shpëtuar Saulit, ndërsa Sauli dhe njerëzit e tij ishin duke rrethuar Davidin dhe njerëzit e tij për t’i kapur,

And he went Saul from [the] side of the mountain from this and David and men his [were] from [the] side of the mountain from this and he was David hurrying away to go from before Saul and Saul and men his [were] surrounding David and men his to catch them.

27 arriti te Sauli një lajmëtar që tha: “Shpejtohu të vish, sepse Filistejtë kanë pushtuar vendin”.

And a messenger he came to Saul saying make haste! and come! for they have made a raid [the] Philistines on the land.

28 Kështu Sauli nuk e ndoqi më Davidin dhe shkoi të përballojë Filistejtë; prandaj ky vend u quajt “shkëmbi i ndarjes”.

And he turned back Saul from pursuing after David and he went to meet [the] Philistines there-fore people called the place that Sela Hammahlekoth.

29 Pastaj që andej Davidi shkoi për t’u vendosur në fortesat e En-Gedit.

And he went up David from there and he dwelt in [the] strongholds of En Gedi.
