1 i Samuelit 20
1 Davidi iku nga Najothi i Ramahut, shkoi te Jonathani dhe i tha: “Çfarë kam bërë? Cili është faji im dhe cili është mëkati im kundër atit tënd, që ai kërkon jetën time?”.

2 Jonathani iu përgjegj: “Mos ndodhtë kurrë! Ti nuk ke për të vdekur; ja im atë nuk bën asnjë veprim të madh apo të vogël pa ma njoftuar mua. Pse im atë të ma fshihte këtë gjë? Nuk është e mundur”.
and to say to/for him forbid not to die behold (not to make: do *QK) father my word: thing great: large or word: thing small and not to reveal: reveal [obj] ear: to ears my and why? to hide father my from me [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this nothing this
3 Davidi u betua përsëri dhe tha: “Yt atë e di me siguri që unë gëzoj hirin tënd dhe do të ketë thënë: “Jonathani të mos e dijë këtë, që të mos hidhërohet”. Por siç është e vërtetë që Zoti jeton, dhe që rron shpirti yt, mua nuk më ndan nga vdekja veçse një hap”.

4 Jonathani i tha Davidit: “Çfarëdo gjë që të më kërkosh, unë do ta bëj për ty”.
and to say Jonathan to(wards) David what? to say soul: myself your and to make: do to/for you
5 Davidi iu përgjegj Jonathanit: “Ja, nesër fillon hëna e re dhe unë duhet të ulem në tryezë me mbretin, por të më lër të shkoj dhe unë do të fshihem në fshatrat deri në mbrëmjen e ditë së tretë.
and to say David to(wards) Jonathan behold month: new moon tomorrow and I to dwell to dwell with [the] king to/for to eat and to send: let go me and to hide in/on/with land: country till [the] evening [the] third
6 Në qoftë se atit tënd i bie në sy mungesa ime, ti do t’i thuash: “Davidi më është lutur me insistim të hidhet për pak kohë deri në Betlem, në qytetin e tij, sepse aty kremtohet flijimi për tërë familjen e tij”.
if to reckon: missing to reckon: missing me father your and to say to ask to ask from me David to/for to run: run Bethlehem Bethlehem city his for sacrifice [the] day: year there to/for all [the] family
7 Në qoftë se thotë: “Mirë”, shërbëtori yt ka për të shpëtuar. Por në rast se zemërohet, dije se ka vendosur të ma bëjë të keqen.

9 Jonathani tha “Larg qoftë ky mendim! Po ta dija që im atë ka vendosur të ta bëjë të keqen, nuk do të ta tregoja ty?”.
and to say Jonathan forbid to/for you for if: except to know to know for to end: decides [the] distress: harm from from with father my to/for to come (in): come upon you and not [obj] her to tell to/for you
10 Davidi i tha Jonathanit: “Kush do të më njoftojë në se yt atë të përgjigjet rëndë?”.
and to say David to(wards) Jonathan who? to tell to/for me or what? to answer you father your severe
11 Jonathani i tha Davidit: “Eja, të dalim ndër fusha!”. Kështu që të dy dolën jashtë, në fushë.
and to say Jonathan to(wards) David to go: come! [emph?] and to come out: come [the] land: country and to come out: come two their [the] land: country
12 Atëherë Jonathani i tha Davidit: “Paça dëshmitar Zotin, Perëndinë e Izraelit! Nesër ose pasnesër, në këtë orë, do të hetoj qëllimet e atit tim, për të parë në se ai e shikon me sy të mirë Davidin, dhe po të mos dërgoj njeri të të njoftojë,
and to say Jonathan to(wards) David LORD God Israel for to search [obj] father my like/as time tomorrow [the] third and behold pleasant to(wards) David and not then to send: depart to(wards) you and to reveal: reveal [obj] ear: to ears your
13 Zoti le t’i bëjë këtë gjë Jonathanit, madje edhe më keq. Në qoftë se përkundrazi im atë ka ndërmend të të bëjë një të keqe, unë do të të njoftoj dhe do të lë të shkosh me qëllim që ti të shkosh në paqe; dhe Zoti qoftë me ty, ashtu siç ka qenë me atin tim!
thus to make: do LORD to/for Jonathan and thus to add for be good to(wards) father my [obj] [the] distress: harm upon you and to reveal: reveal [obj] ear: to ears your and to send: depart you and to go: went to/for peace: well-being and to be LORD with you like/as as which to be with father my
14 Deri sa të jem gjallë, a nuk do të përdorësh ndaj meje mirësinë e Zotit, me qëllim që mos vritem?”.
and not if still I alive and not to make: do with me me kindness LORD and not to die
15 Por nuk do të heqësh dorë kurrë të përdorësh mirësinë ndaj shtëpisë sime, as atëherë kur Zoti të ketë shfarosur nga faqja e dheut tërë armiqtë e Davidit”.
and not to cut: eliminate [obj] kindness your from from with house: household my till forever: enduring and not in/on/with to cut: eliminate LORD [obj] enemy David man: anyone from upon face: surface [the] land: planet
16 Kështu Jonathani lidhi një besëlidhje me shtëpinë e Davidit, duke thënë: “Zoti t’u kërkojë llogari armiqve të Davidit për gjakun!”.
and to cut: make(covenant) Jonathan with house: household David and to seek LORD from hand: to enemy David
17 Për hir të dashurisë që kishte për të, Jonathani e vuri përsëri Davidin të betohet, sepse ai e donte si shpirtin e vet.
and to add: again Jonathan to/for to swear [obj] David in/on/with love his [obj] him for love soul his to love: lover him
18 Pastaj Jonathani i tha: “Nesër fillon hëna e re dhe mungesa jote do të bjerë në sy, sepse vendi yt do të mbetet bosh.
and to say to/for him Jonathan tomorrow month: new moon and to reckon: missing for to reckon: missing seat your
19 Do të lësh të kalojmë tri ditë, pastaj do të zbresësh me të shpejtë dhe do të shkosh në vendin ku u fshehe ditën e ngjarjes, dhe do të rrish pranë gurit të Ezelit.
and to do three to go down much and to come (in): towards to(wards) [the] place which to hide there in/on/with day [the] deed and to dwell beside [the] stone [the] Ezel
20 Unë do të hedh tri shigjeta përbri gurit sikur të gjuaja në shenjë.
and I three [the] arrow side [to] to shoot to/for to send: depart to/for me to/for guardhouse
21 Pastaj do të dërgoj një djalosh, duke i thënë: “Shko të kërkosh shtigjeta”. Në rast se i them djaloshit: “Shiko, shigjetat janë nga ana jote, prandaj merri!” atëherë eja sepse, ashtu si Zoti jeton, punët të ecin mbarë ty dhe nuk ka asnjë rrezik.
and behold to send: depart [obj] [the] youth to go: went to find [obj] [the] arrow if to say to say to/for youth behold [the] arrow from you and here/thus to take: take him and to come (in): come [emph?] for peace: well-being to/for you and nothing word: thing alive LORD
22 Në qoftë se përkundrazi i them djaloshit: “Shiko, shigjetat janë matanë teje”, atëherë shko, sepse Zoti të bën të ikësh.
and if thus to say to/for youth behold [the] arrow from you and further to go: went for to send: depart you LORD
23 Sa për gjërat për të cilat kemi folur midis nesh, ja, Zoti qoftë dëshmitar midis teje dhe meje për gjithnjë”.
and [the] word: thing which to speak: speak I and you(m. s.) behold LORD between me and between you till forever: enduring
24 Kështu Davidi u fsheh nëpër ara; kur filloi hëna e re, mbreti u ul për të ngrënë.
and to hide David in/on/with land: country and to be [the] month: new moon and to dwell [the] king (to(wards) *QK) [the] food to/for to eat
25 Mbreti u ul në karrigen e tij, si herët e tjera, në karrigen pranë murit; Jonathani u ul përballë tij. Abneri u ul pranë Saulit, por vendi i Davidit mbeti bosh.
and to dwell [the] king upon seat his like/as beat in/on/with beat to(wards) seat [the] wall and to arise: establish Jonathan and to dwell Abner from side Saul and to reckon: missing place David
26 Megjithatë Sauli nuk tha asgjë atë ditë, sepse mendonte: “Do t’i ketë ndodhur diçka; nuk do të jetë i pastër; me siguri ai nuk është i pastër”.

27 Por të nesërmen, ditën e dytë të hënës së re, vendi i Davidit ishte akoma bosh. Atëherë Sauli i tha Jonathanit, birit të tij: “Pse biri i Isait nuk erdhi për të ngrënë as dje, as sot?”.

28 Jonathani iu përgjegj Saulit: “Davidi më kërkoi me insistim ta lë të shkojë në Betlem;
and to answer Jonathan [obj] Saul to ask to ask David from with me me till Bethlehem Bethlehem
29 dhe tha: “Të lutem lermë të shkoj, sepse kemi në qytet një flijim në familje, dhe vëllai im më ka detyruar të marr pjesë në të; tani, pra, po të gëzoj hirin tënd, të lutem, lermë të hidhem shpejt për të parë vëllezërit e mi”. Për këtë arësye nuk erdhi në tryezën e mbretit”.
and to say to send: let go me please for sacrifice family to/for us in/on/with city and he/she/it to command to/for me brother: male-sibling my and now if to find favor in/on/with eye: appearance your to escape please and to see: see [obj] brother: male-sibling my upon so not to come (in): come to(wards) table [the] king
30 Atëherë zemërimi i Saulit u ndez kundër Jonathanit dhe i tha: “O bir i çoroditur dhe rebel, vallë nuk e di unë që ti mban anën e birit të Isait, për turpin tënd dhe për turpin e lakuriqësisë të nënës sate?
and to be incensed face: anger Saul in/on/with Jonathan and to say to/for him son: child to pervert [the] rebellious not to know for to choose you(m. s.) to/for son: child Jesse to/for shame your and to/for shame nakedness mother your
31 Sepse për deri sa biri i Isait do të jetojë mbi tokë, nuk do të ketë qëndrueshmëri as për ty, as për mbretërinë tënde. Prandaj dërgo ta marrin dhe sille tek unë, sepse ai duhet të vdesë.
for all [the] day which son: child Jesse to live upon [the] land: planet not to establish: establish you(m. s.) and royalty your and now to send: depart and to take: bring [obj] him to(wards) me for son: type of death he/she/it
32 Jonathani iu përgjegj Saulit, atit të tij duke i thënë: “Pse duhet të vdesë? Çfarë ka bërë?”.
and to answer Jonathan [obj] Saul father his and to say to(wards) him to/for what? to die what? to make: do
33 Atëherë Sauli e vërtiti ushtën kundër tij për ta vrarë. Jonathani e kuptoi që vrasja e Davidit ishte diçka e vendosur nga ana e të atit.
and to cast Saul [obj] [the] spear upon him to/for to smite him and to know Jonathan for to end: decides he/she/it from from with father his to/for to die [obj] David
34 Kështu Jonathani u ngrit i zemëruar nga tryeza dhe nuk hëngri gjë as ditën e dytë të hënës së re, mbasi ishte i hidhëruar për Davidin, sepse i ati e kishte trajtuar në mënyrë të turpshme.
and to arise: rise Jonathan from from with [the] table in/on/with burning face: anger and not to eat in/on/with day [the] month [the] second food for to hurt to(wards) David for be humiliated him father his
35 Të nesërmen në mëngjes, Jonathani doli në fushë në vendin e caktuar me Davidin, duke pasur me vete një djalosh.
and to be in/on/with morning and to come out: come Jonathan [the] land: country to/for meeting: time appointed David and youth small with him
36 Ai i tha djaloshit: “Vrapo të më sjellësh shigjetat që unë gjuaj”. Ndërsa djaloshi vraponte, ai hodhi një shigjetë që kaloi përtej tij.
and to say to/for youth his to run: run to find please [obj] [the] arrow which I to shoot [the] youth to run: run and he/she/it to shoot [the] arrow to/for to pass him
37 Kur djaloshi arriti në vendin ku ndodhej shigjeta që Jonathani kishte hedhur, Jonathani i bërtiti nga prapa: “Shigjeta, vallë ka rënë matanë teje?”.
and to come (in): come [the] youth till place [the] arrow which to shoot Jonathan and to call: call to Jonathan after [the] youth and to say not [the] arrow from you and further
38 Pastaj Jonathani i bërtiti akoma djaloshit: “Vepro shpejt, mbaro punë, mos u ndal!”. Kështu djaloshi i Jonathanit mblodhi shigjetat dhe u kthye tek i zoti.
and to call: call to Jonathan after [the] youth haste to hasten [emph?] not to stand: stand and to gather youth Jonathan [obj] ([the] arrow *QK) and to come (in): come to(wards) lord his
39 Por djaloshi nuk e dinte asgjë; vetëm Jonathani dhe Davidi e dinin si qëndronte çështja.
and [the] youth not to know anything surely Jonathan and David to know [obj] [the] word: thing
40 Pastaj Jonathani ia dha armët e tij djaloshit dhe i tha: “Nisu, çoji në qytet”.
and to give: give Jonathan [obj] article/utensil his to(wards) [the] youth which to/for him and to say to/for him to go: went to come (in): bring [the] city
41 Me t’u nisur djaloshi, Davidi u ngrit nga krahu jugor, ra përmbys tri herë me fytyrë për tokë; pastaj të dy puthen me njeri tjetrin dhe qanë bashkë; por Davidi qau më tepër.
[the] youth to come (in): come and David to arise: rise from beside [the] south and to fall: fall to/for face his land: soil [to] and to bow three beat and to kiss man: anyone [obj] neighbor his and to weep man: anyone [obj] neighbor his till David to magnify
42 Pastaj Jonathani i tha Davidit: “Shko në paqe, tani që ne të dy jemi betuar në emër të Zotit; Zoti le të jetë përgjithmonë dëshmitar midis meje dhe teje dhe ndërmjet pasardhësve të tu dhe pasardhësve të mi”. Pastaj Davidi u ngrit dhe iku; dhe Jonathani u kthye në qytet.
and to say Jonathan to/for David to go: went to/for peace which to swear two our we in/on/with name LORD to/for to say LORD to be between me and between you and between seed: children my and between seed: children your till forever: enduring and to arise: rise and to go: went and Jonathan to come (in): come [the] city
