1 i Samuelit 18
1 Kur mbaroi së foluri me Saulin, shpirti i Jonathanit mbeti i lidhur me shpirtin e Davidit, dhe Jonathani e deshi si shpirtin e vet.
And it was when finished he to speak to Saul and [the] self of Jonathan it was bound with [the] self of David (and he loved him *Qk) Jonathan like own self his.
2 Po atë ditë Sauli e mori me vete dhe nuk e lejoi të kthehet në shtëpinë e atit të tij.
And he took him Saul on the day that and not he permitted him to return [the] house of father his.
3 Kështu Jonathani lidhi një besölidhje me Davidin, sepse e donte si shpirtin e vet.
And he made Jonathan and David a covenant in love his him like own self his.
4 Pastaj Jonathani hoqi mantelin që kishte veshur dhe ia dha Davidit, dhe i shtoi gjithashtu rrobat, shpatën, harkun dhe brezin e tij.
And he stripped himself Jonathan the robe which [was] on him and he gave it to David and garments his and to sword his and to bow his and to belt his.
5 Davidi shkonte kudo që Sauli e dërgonte dhe dilte me sukses. Kështu Sauli e vuri në krye të luftëtarëve dhe shihej me sy të mirë nga gjithë populli, madje edhe nga shërbëtorët e Saulit.
And he went out David in every where he sent him Saul he prospered and he appointed him Saul over [the] men of war and it was good in [the] eyes of all the people and also in [the] eyes of [the] servants of Saul.
6 Gjatë kthimit të tyre, kur Davidi po kthehej nga vrasja e Filisteut, gratë e të gjitha qyteteve të Izraelit i dolën para mbretit Saul, duke kënduar dhe hedhur valle me dajre, me thirrje gëzimi dhe me vegla muzikore.
And it was when came they when returned David from striking down the Philistine and they came out the women from all [the] cities of Israel (to sing *Qk) and the dancing to meet Saul the king with tambourines with joy and with three-stringed instruments.
7 Kështu gratë u përgjigjeshin njera tjetrës duke kënduar, dhe thoshnin: “Sauli vrau mijëshn e tij dhe Davidi dhjetëmijëshn e tij.
And they sang the women who were playing and they said he has struck down Saul (thousands his *QK) and David ten thousands his.
8 Kjo gjë e pezmatoi shumë Saulin dhe këto fjalë nuk i pëlqyen; ai tha: “Davidit i njohin dhjetë mijë dhe mua vetëm një mijë. Tani nuk i mungon veçse mbretëria!”.
And it burned to Saul exceedingly and it was displeasing in eyes his the matter this and he said they have ascribed to David ten thousands and to me they have ascribed the thousands and yet for him only the kingship.
9 Kështu nga ajo ditë Sauli e shikoi me zili Davidin.
And he was Saul (looking at *QK) David from the day that and onwards.
10 Të nesërmen një frym i keq nga ana e Perëndisë e zotëroi Saulin që sillej si një i marrë në mes të shtëpisë, kurse Davidi i binte harpës me dorën e tij si ditët e tjera dhe Sauli mbante në dorë shtizën.
And it was from [the] next day and it rushed a spirit of God - evil - to Saul and he prophesied in [the] midst of the house and David [was] playing an instrument with hand his as a day - in a day and the spear [was] in [the] hand of Saul.
11 Kështu Sauli e vërtiti shtizën, duke thënë: “Do ta gozhdoj Davidin në mur!”. Por Davidi iu shmang goditjes dy herë.
And he threw Saul the spear and he said I will strike David and the wall and he went around David from before him two times.
12 Sauli kishte frikë nga Davidi, sepse Zoti ishte me të dhe e kishte braktisur Saulin.
And he was afraid Saul from to before David for he was Yahweh with him and from with Saul he had turned aside.
13 Prandaj Sauli e largoi nga vetja dhe e bëri komandant të një mijë njerëzve; dhe ai shkonte e vinte në krye të popullit.
And he removed him Saul from with him and he appointed him for himself a commander of a thousand and he went out and he came before the people.
14 Davidit i shkonin mbarë të gjitha veprat, dhe Zoti ishte me të.
And he was David to all (ways his *QK) successful and Yahweh [was] with him.
15 Sauli, duke parë që atij i shkonte shumë mbarë çdo gjë, kishte frikë prej tij;
And he saw Saul that he [was] successful exceedingly and he was afraid of him.
16 por tërë Izraeli dhe Juda e donin Davidin, sepse shkonte e vinte në krye të tyre.
And all Israel and Judah [were] loving David for he [was] going out and [was] coming before them.
17 Pastaj Sauli i tha Davidit: “Ja Merabi, bija ime më e madhe; do të ta jap për grua; u bëfsh për mua një bir trim dhe març pjesë në betejat e Zotit”. Sauli mendonte kështu: “Të mos jetë dora ime ta godasë, por dora e Filisejve”.
And he said Saul to David here! daughter my old Merab her I will give to you to a wife only become of me a son of strength and fight [the] battles of Yahweh and Saul he said may not it be hand my on him and let it be on him [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
18 Por Davidi iu përgjegj Saulit: “Kush jam unë dhe çfarë është jeta ime dhe familja e atit tim në Izrael, që unë të bëhem dhëndri i mbretit?”.
And he said David to Saul who? [am] I and who? [are] kinsfolk my [the] clan of father my in Israel that I will be a son-in-law of the king.
19 Kur erdhi çasti për t’ia dhënë Davidit Merabin, bijën e Saulit, atë ia dhanë për grua Meholathitit Adriel.
And it was at [the] time gave Merab [the] daughter of Saul to David and she she was given to Adriel the Meholathite to a wife.
20 Por Mikal, bija e Saulit, e dashuronte Davidin; këtë ia njoftuan Saulit dhe kjo gjë i pëlqeu.
And she loved Michal [the] daughter of Saul David and people told to Saul and it was pleasing the matter in eyes his.
21 Kështu Sauli mendoi: “Do t’ia jap, në mënyrë që ky të jetë një lak për të dhe ai të bjerë në duart e Filistejve”.
And he said Saul I will give her to him so she may become for him a snare so it may be on him [the] hand of [the] Philistines and he said Saul to David in two [times] you will be a son-in-law to me this day.
22 Pas kësaj Sauli i urdhëroi shërbëtorët e tij: “Bisedoni fshehurazi me Davidin dhe i thoni: “Ja, mbreti ështëi kënaqur nga ti dhe të gjithë shërbëtorët e tij të duan, prandaj bëhu dhëndri i mbretit”.
And he commanded Saul (servants his *QK) speak to David in secrecy saying here! he delights in you the king and all servants his they love you and therefore be son-in-law to the king.
23 Shërbëtorët e Saulit ia çuan këto fjalë Davidit. Por Davidi u përgjegj: “Ju duket gjë e vogël të bëhesh dhëndri i mbretit? Unë jam një njeri i varfër dhe nga shtresë e ulët”.
And they spoke [the] servants of Saul in [the] ears of David the words these and he said David ¿ trifling in eyes your [is] to be son-in-law to the king and I [am] a man poor and lightly esteemed.
24 Shërbëtorët i njoftuan Saulit: “Davidi u përgjegj në këtë mënyrë”.
And they told [the] servants of Saul to him saying according to the words these he spoke David.
25 Atëherë Sauli tha: “Do t’i thoni kështu Davidit: “Mbreti nuk dëshëron asnjë prikë, por njëqind lafsha të Filisejve për t’u hakmarrë me armiqtë e mbretit””. Sauli kurdiste komplote për të shkaktuar vdekjen e Davidit me anë të Filistejve.
And he said Saul thus you will say to David not delight [belongs] to the king in bride-price for for a hundred foreskins of Philistines to avenge himself on [the] enemies of the king and Saul he planned to make fall David by [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
26 Kur shërbëtorët i njoftuan Davidit këto fjalë, Davidit iu duk gjë e mirë të bëhej dhëndër i mbretit. Ditët e caktuara nuk kishin kaluar akoma,
And they told servants his to David the words these and it was pleasing the matter in [the] eyes of David to be son-in-law to the king and not they were completed the days.
27 kur Davidi u ngrit dhe iku me njerëzit e tij, dhe vrau dyqind veta nga Filistejtë. Pastaj Davidi solli lafshat e tyre dhe dorëzoi mbretit këtë sasi të saktë për t’u bërë dhëndër i tij. Atëherë Sauli i dha të bijën Mikal për grua.
And he arose David and he went - he and men his and he struck down among the Philistines two hundred man and he brought David foreskins their and people gave in full them to the king to be son-in-law to the king and he gave to him Saul Michal daughter his to a wife.
28 Kështu Sauli e pa dhe e kuptoi që Zoti ishte me Davidin; dhe Mikal, bija e Saulit, e donte.
And he saw Saul and he knew that Yahweh [was] with David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she loved him.
29 Sauli pati edhe më tepër frikë nga Davidi dhe mbeti armiku i tij gjatë gjithë ditëve që jetoi.
And he increased Saul to be afraid of David again and he was Saul an enemy David all the days.
30 Pastaj princat e Filistejve dolën për të luftuar por, sa herë që dilnin, Davidi ia dilte më mirë se të gjithë shërbëtorët e Saulit; kështu emri i tij u bë shumë i famshëm.
And they went out [the] commanders of [the] Philistines and it was - as often as went out they he was successful David more than all [the] servants of Saul and it was esteemed name his exceedingly.
