1 Pjetri, apostull i Jezu Krishtit, të zgjedhurve që rrijnë në diasporën e Pontit, të Galatisë, të Kapadokisë, të Azisë dhe të Bitinisë,
Peter an apostle of Jesus Christ To [the] elect sojourners of [the] Dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 të zgjedhurve sipas paranjohjes së Perëndisë, Atit, me anë të shenjtërimit të Frymës, për t’u bindur dhe për t’u spërkatur me gjakun e Jezu Krishtit; hiri dhe paqja u shtoftë mbi ju.
according to [the] foreknowledge of God [the] Father by [the] sanctification of [the] Spirit unto [the] obedience and sprinkling of [the] blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace would be multiplied.
3 Qoftë bekuar Perëndia edhe Ati i Zotit tonë Jezu Krisht, i cili me anë të mëshirës së tij të madhe na rilindi për një shpresë të gjallë me anë të ringjalljes së Jezu Krishtit prej së vdekurish,
Blessed [be] the God and Father of the Lord of us Jesus Christ, the [One] according to the great of Him mercy having begotten again us to a hope living through [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ out from [the] dead,
4 për një trashëgim të paprishshëm, të panjollë dhe të pafishkur, që është ruajtur në qiejt për ju,
to an inheritance imperishable and undefiled and unfading reserved in [the] heavens for (you *NK+O)
5 që nga fuqia e Perëndisë me anë të besimit jeni të ruajtur, për shpëtimin gati për t’u zbuluar në kohët e fundit.
who by [the] power of God [are] being guarded through faith for [the] salvation ready to be revealed in [the] time last;
6 Për këtë gëzohuni, ndonëse, në qoftë se duhet, për pak kohë, tani duhet të trishtoheni nga prova të ndryshme,
in which you greatly rejoice for a little while at present, if being necessary it is, (having been put to grief *NK+o) by various trials
7 që prova e besimit tuaj, që është shumë më i çmuar nga ari që prishet, edhe pse provohet me zjarr, të dalë për lëvdim, nder e lavdi në zbulesën e Jezu Krishtit,
so that the proven genuineness of your faith (more precious *N+kO) than gold which is perishing through fire though being refined it may be discovered towards praise and (towards *o) glory and honor in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ;
8 të cilin, megjithëse ju nuk e keni parë, e doni, duke besuar në të, megithëse tani nuk e shihni, dhe ngazëllohuni nga një hare e patregueshme dhe e lavdishme,
whom not (having seen *N+kO) you love, on whom now [though] not seeing believing now (you yourself rejoice *NK+o) with joy inexpressible and glory-filled,
9 duke arritur përmbushjen e besimit tuaj, shpëtimin e shpirtrave.
receiving the outcome of the faith of you, [the] salvation of [your] souls;
10 Për këtë shpëtim kërkuan dhe hetuan profetët që profetizuan nga hirin për ju,
Concerning this salvation sought out and searched out diligently [the] prophets of the toward you grace having prophesied,
11 duke kërkuar të njohin kohën dhe rrethanat që tregonte Fryma e Krishtit që ishte në ta, dhe që dëshmonte që më parë për vuajtjet që do të vinin mbi Krishtin dhe për lavditë që do të pasonin.
inquiring into what or what manner of time was signifying the in them Spirit of Christ testifying beforehand unto Christ's sufferings and the after these glories;
12 Dhe atyre iu zbulua se ata i administronin jo për vete, po për ne, ato gjëra që po ju rrëfehen tani nga ata që ju kanë predikuar ungjillin, me anë të Frymës së Shenjtë të dërguar nga qielli; gjëra të cilat engjëjt dëshirojnë t’i vëzhgojnë.
to whom it was revealed that not themselves (you *N+KO) however they were serving in those things which now have been proclaimed to you through those having evangelised you by [the] Spirit Holy having been sent from heaven, into which desire angels to look.
13 Prandaj, ngjeshni ijët e mendjes suaj, rrini zgjuar dhe mbani shpresë të plotë në hirin që do vijë mbi ju në zbulesën e Jezu Krishtit.
Therefore having girded up the loins of the mind of you, being sober-minded, fully do set [your] hope upon which is being brought to you grace in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ.
14 Si bij të bindur, mos iu përshtatni lakmive të mëparshme kur ishit në padijen tuaj,
as children of obedience not fashioning yourselves to the former in the ignorance of you desires,
15 por ashtu si është i shenjtë ai që ju thirri, të jini edhe ju të shenjtë në gjithë sjelljen tuaj,
But as the [One] having called you [is] holy also yourselves holy in all [your] conduct do be,
16 sepse është shkruar: “Jini të shenjtë, sepse unë jam i shenjtë”.
because it has been written: (that *no) Holy (you will be, *N+k+o) because I myself holy (am. *NK)
17 Dhe në qoftë se thërrisni si Atë atë që, pa favorizuar njeri, gjykon sipas veprës së gjithsecilit, kalojeni kohën e shtegtimit tuaj mbi dhe me frikë,
And if [as] Father you call on the [One] impartially judging according to the of each work, in fear during the of the sojourn of you time do conduct yourselves;
18 duke ditur se jo me anë gjërash që prishen, si argjendi ose ari, jeni shpenguar nga mënyra e kotë e të jetuarit të trashëguar nga etërit,
knowing that not by perishable things — by silver or by gold — you were redeemed from the futile of you manner of life handed down from [your] fathers,
19 por nga gjaku i çmuar i Krishtit, si të Qengjit të patëmetë dhe të panjollë,
but by [the] precious blood as of a lamb without blemish and without spot of Christ,
20 të paranjohur përpara krijimit të botës, por të shfaqur kohët e fundit për ju,
foreknown indeed before [the] foundation [the] world, having been revealed however in ([this] last *N+kO) of the times for the sake of you
21 që, nëpërmjet tij, të besoni në Perëndinë që e ringjalli prej së vdekurish dhe i dha lavdi, që besimi juaj dhe shpresa të jenë në Perëndinë.
who through Him (believing *N+kO) in God, the [one] having raised up Him out from [the] dead and glory Him having given, so as for the faith of you and hope to be in God.
22 Mbasi të pastroni shpirtrat tuaj me bindjen ndaj së vërtetës me anë të Frymës, për të pasur një dashuri vëllazërore pa hipokrizi, të doni fort njeri tjetrin me zemër të pastër,
The souls of you having purified by obedience to the truth (through spirit *K) unto brotherly love sincere out of purity of heart one another do love fervently;
23 sepse jeni ringjizur jo nga një farë që prishet, por që nuk prishet, me anë të fjalës së Perëndisë së gjallë dhe që mbetet përjetë. (aiōn g165)
born again not of seed perishable but of imperishable through [the] word living of God and abiding (into the age; *K) (aiōn g165)
24 Sepse çdo mish është si bari dhe çdo lavdi njeriu si lule e barit; bari thahet dhe lulja bie,
because All flesh [is] like grass, and all [the] glory (of it *N+KO) like [the] flower of grass; Withers the grass, and the flower (of him *K) falls away;
