1 e Korintasve 10
1 Sepse, o vëllezër, unë nuk dua që ju të mos edini se gjithë etërit tanë ishin nën renë, dhe të gjithë shkuan nëpër det,
Britheren, Y nyle, that ye vnknowe, that alle oure fadris weren vndur cloude, and alle passiden the see;
2 dhe të gjithë u pagëzuan për Moisinë në re dhe në det,
and alle weren baptisid in Moises, in the cloude and in the see;
3 të gjithë hëngrën të njëjtën ushqim frymëror,
and alle eeten the same spiritual mete,
4 dhe të gjithë pinë të njëjtën pije frymërore, sepse pinin prej shkëmbi frymëror që i ndiqte; edhe ky shkëmb ishte Krishti.
and alle drunken the same spiritual drynke; thei drunken of the spiritual stoon folewynge hem; and the stoon was Crist.
5 Por Perëndia nuk pëlqeu shumicën prej tyre; sepse ranë të vdekur në shkretëtirë.
But not in ful manye of hem it was wel pleasaunt to God; for whi thei weren cast doun in desert.
6 Dhe këto u bënë si shembuj për ne, që ne të mos dëshirojmë gjëra të liga, ashtu si dëshiruan ata,
But these thingis ben don in figure of vs, that we be not coueyteris of yuele thingis, as thei coueitiden.
7 dhe që të mos bëheni idhujtarë si disa nga ata, sikurse është shkruar: “Populli u ul që të hajë dhe të pijë, dhe u ngrit për të luajtur”.
Nether be ye maad idolatreris, as summe of hem; as it is writun, The puple sat to ete and drynke, and thei risen vp to pleie.
8 Dhe të mos kurvërojmë, ashtu si kurvëruan disa nga ata edhe ranë të vdekur në një ditë njëzet e tre mijë.
Nether do we fornycacioun, as summe of hem diden fornicacioun, and thre and twenti thousyndis weren deed in o dai.
9 Dhe të mos e tundojmë Krishtin, ashtu si e tunduan disa nga ata dhe u vranë nga gjarpërinjtë.
Nethir tempte we Crist, as summe of hem temptiden, and perischiden of serpentis.
10 Dhe mos u ankoni, ashtu si u ankuan disa nga ata, dhe u vranë nga shkatërruesi.
Nether grutche ye, as summe of hem grutchiden, and thei perischiden of a distrier.
11 Dhe të gjitha këto gjëra u ndodhën atyre si shëmbull, dhe janë shkruar për paralajmërimin tonë, për ne që jemi në mbarim të epokët. (aiōn g165)
And alle these thingis felliden to hem in figure; but thei ben writun to oure amendyng, in to whiche the endis of the worldis ben comun. (aiōn g165)
12 Prandaj ai që mendon se qëndron më këmbë, le të shohë se mos bjerë.
Therfor he that gessith hym, `that he stondith, se he, that he falle not.
13 Asnjë tundim nuk ju ka gjetur juve, përveç se tundimi njerëzor; por Perëndia është besnik dhe nuk do të lejojë që t’ju tundojnë përtej fuqive tuaja, por me tundimin do t’ju japë dhe rrugë dalje, që ju të mund ta përballoni.
Temptacioun take `not you, but mannus temptacioun; for God is trewe, which schal not suffre you to be temptid aboue that that ye moun; but he schal make with temptacioun also purueyaunce, that ye moun suffre.
14 Prandaj, të dashurit e mi, largohuni nga idhujtaria.
Wherfor, ye most dereworthe to me, fle ye fro worschiping of maumetis.
15 Po ju flas si të mënçur, gjykojeni ju atë që them:
As to prudent men Y speke, deme ye you silf that thing that Y seie.
16 kupa e bekimit, që ne bekojmë, a nuk është vallë pjesëmarrje në gjakun e Krishtit? Buka që ne thyejmë, a nuk është vallë pjesëmarrje në trupin e Krishtit?
Whether the cuppe of blessyng which we blessen, is not the comynyng of Cristis blood? and whether the breed which we breken, is not the takyng of the bodi of the Lord?
17 Sepse ne të shumtit, jemi një bukë, një trup, sepse të gjithë marrim pjesë në të vetmen bukë.
For we manye ben o breed and o bodi, alle we that taken part of o breed and of o cuppe.
18 Shikoni Izraelin sipas mishit: ata që hanë flijimet a nuk janë pjesëmarrës të altarit?
Se ye Israel aftir the fleisch, whethir thei that eeten sacrifices, ben not partyneris of the auter?
19 Çfarë them, pra? Se idhulli është diçka? Apo se ajo që u është flijuar idhujve është diçka?
What therfor seie Y, that a thing that is offrid to idols is ony thing, or that the idol is ony thing?
20 Jo, por them se gjërat që flijojnë johebrenjtë, ua flijojnë demonëve dhe jo Perëndisë; tani unë nuk dua që ju të keni pjesë me demonët.
But tho thingis that hethene men offren, thei offren to deuelis, and not to God. But Y nyle, that ye ben maad felowis of feendis; for ye moun not drynke the cuppe of the Lord, and the cuppe of fendis;
21 Ju nuk mund të pini kupën e Zotit dhe kupën e demonëve; ju nuk mund të merrni pjesë në tryezën e Zotit dhe në tryezën e demonëve.
ye moun not be parteneris of the boord of the Lord, and of the bord of feendis.
22 A duam ne të provokojmë Zotin deri në xhelozi? A jemi ne më të fortë se ai?
Whether we han enuye to the Lord? whether we ben strengere then he? Alle thingis ben leeueful to me, but not alle thingis ben spedeful.
23 Gjithçka më lejohet, por jo gjithçka është dobishme; gjithçka më lejohet, por jo çdo gjë ndërton.
Alle thingis ben leeueful to me, but not alle thingis edifien.
24 Askush të mos kërkojë interesin e vet, por atë të tjetrit.
No man seke that thing that is his owne, but that thing that is of an othere.
25 Hani çdo gjë që shitet te kasapi, pa bërë pyetje për shkak të ndërgjegjes,
Al thing that is seld in the bocherie, ete ye, axynge no thing for conscience.
26 sepse “toka është e Zotit dhe gjithçka që ajo përmban”.
The erthe and the plente of it is, the Lordis.
27 Dhe në qoftë se ndonjë jobesimtar ju fton dhe ju doni të shkoni, hani çdo gjë që t’u vihet përpara, pa bërë pyetje për shkak të ndërgjegjes.
If ony of hethene men clepith you to soper, and ye wole go, al thing that is set to you, ete ye, axynge no thing for conscience.
28 Por në qoftë se dikush ju thotë: “Kjo është nga flijim idhujsh”, mos hani, për atë që ju paralajmëroi dhe për shkak të ndërgjegjes, sepse “toka është e Zotit dhe gjithçka që ajo përmban”.
But if ony man seith, This thing is offrid to idols, nyle ye ete, for hym that schewide, and for conscience; and Y seie not,
29 Dhe them ndërgjegje, por jo tënden, por të tjetrit. Sepse përse të gjykohet liria ime nga ndërgjegja e një tjetri?
thi conscience, but of an othere. But wherto is my fredom demed of an othere mannus conscience?
30 Në qoftë se unë marr pjesë me falenderim, pse të shahem për atë gjë, për të cilin falenderoj?
Therfor if Y take part with grace, what am Y blasfemed, for that that Y do thankyngis?
31 Pra, nëse hani, nëse pini, nëse bëni ndonjë gjë tjetër, të gjitha t’i bëni për lavdinë e Perëndisë.
Therfor whether ye eten, or drynken, or don ony other thing, do ye alle thingis `in to the glorie of God.
32 Mos u bëni shkak skandali as për Judenj, as për Grekë, as për kishën e Perëndisë;
Be ye with outen sclaundre to Jewis, and to hethene men, and to the chirche of God;
33 sikurse edhe unë vetë përpiqem t’u pëlqej të gjithëve në çdo gjë, nuk kërkoj përfitimin tim, por të të shumtëve, që të shpëtohen.
as Y bi alle thingis plese to alle men, not sekynge that that is profitable to me, but that that is profitable to manye men, that thei be maad saaf.
