1 Këta ishin bijtë e Davidit, që i lindën në Hebron; i parëlinduri ishte Amnoni, nga Ahinoami, Jezreelitja; i dyti ishte Danieli, nga Abigail, Karmelitja;
And these were the sons of David, who were born unto him in Hebron: The first-born, Amnon, of Achino'am the Jizre'elitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigayil the Carmelitess;
2 i treti ishte Absalomi, bir i Maakahut, e bija e Talmait, mbret i Geshurit; i katërti ishte Adonijahu, bir i Haghithit;
The third, Abshalom the son of Ma'achah the daughter of Thalmai the king of Geshur; the fourth, Adoniyah the son of Chaggith;
3 i pesti ishte Shefatiahu nga Abitali; i gjashti ishte Ithreami, nga Eglahu, bashkëshortja e tij.
The fifth, Shephatyah of Abital; the sixth, Yithre'am of 'Eglah his wife.
4 Këta të gjashtë i lindën në Hebron. Ai mbretëroi atje shtatë vjet e gjashtë muaj, kurse në Jeruzalem mbretëroi tridhjetë e tre vjet.
Six were born unto him in Hebron: and he reigned there seven years and six months; and thirty and three years he reigned in Jerusalem.
5 Këta përkundrazi i lindën në Jeruzalem; Shimea, Shobabi, Nathani dhe Salomoni, domethënë katër fëmijë të lindur nga Bath-Sheba, e bija e Amielit.
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shim'a! and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua' the daughter of 'Ammiel;
6 Ishin përveç tyre Ibhari, Elishama, Elifeleti,
And Yibchar, and Elishama', and Eliphelet,
7 Nogahu, Nefegu, Jafia,
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia'.
8 Elishama, Eliada dhe Elifeleti, gjithsej nëntë.
And Elishama', and Elyada', and Eliphelet, nine.
9 Tërë këta ishin bijtë e Davidit, pa llogaritur bijtë e konkubinave të tij. Tamara ishte motra e tyre.
[These were] all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Thamar their sister.
10 I biri i Salomonit ishte Roboami, bir i të cilit ishte Abijahu, bir i të cilit ishte Asa, bir i të cilit ishte Jozafati,
And Solomon's son was Rehobo'am. Abiyah his son, Assa his son, Jehoshaphat his son.
11 bir i të cilit ishte Jorami, bir i të cilit ishte Ahaziahu, bir i të cilit ishte Joasi,
Joram his son, Achazyahu his son, Joash his son,
12 bir i të cilit ishte Amatsiahu, bir i të cilit ishte Azariahu, bir i të cilit ishte Jothami,
Amazyahu his son, 'Azaryah his son, Jotham his son,
13 bir i të cilit ishte Ashazi, bir i të cilit ishte Ezekia, bir i të cilit ishte Manasi,
Achaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Menasseh his son,
14 bir i të cilit ishte Amoni, bir i të cilit ishte Josia.
Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 Bijtë e Josias ishin Johnani, i parëlinduri, i dyti Jehojakimi, i treti Sedekia dhe i katërti Shalumi.
And the sons of Josiah were, the first-born Jochanan, the second Jehoyakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16 Bijtë e Jehojakimit ishin djali i tij Jekoniahu, bir i të cilit ishte Sedekia.
And the sons of Jehoyakim: Jechonyah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17 Bijtë e Jekoniahut, të të burgosurit, ishin i biri Shealtieli,
And the sons of Jechonyah: Assir, Shealthiel his son,
18 dhe Malkirami, Pedajahu, Shenatsari, Jekamiahu, Hoshama dhe Nedabiahu.
And Malkiram, and Pedayah, and Shenazzar, Jekamyah, Hoshama', and Nedabyah.
19 Bijtë e Pedajahut ishin Zorobabeli dhe Shimei. Bijtë e Zorobabelit ishin Meshulami, Hananiahu dhe Shelomith, motra e tyre;
And the sons of Pedayah were, Zerubbabel, and Shim'i: and the sons of Zerubbabel were, Meshullam, and Chananyah, and Shelomith their sister;
20 pastaj vinin Hashubahu, Oheli, Berekiahu, Hasadiahu dhe Jushab-Hasedi, gjithsej pesë.
And Chashubah, and Ohel, and Berechyah, and Chassadyah, Jushab-chessed, five.
21 Bijtë e Hananiahut ishin Pelatisahu dhe Jeshajahu, bijtë e Refajahut, bijtë e Arnanit, bijtë e Obadiahut, bijtë e Shekaniahut.
And the sons of Chananyah: Pelatyah, and Jesha'yah; the sons of Rephayah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of 'Ohadiah, the sons of Shechanyah.
22 Biri i Shakaniahut ishte Shemajahu. Bijtë e Shemajahut ishin Hatushi, Igali, Bariahu, Neraiahu dhe Shafati, gjithsej gjashtë.
And the sons of Shechanyah: Shema'yah: and the sons of Shema'yah were Chattush, and Yigal, and Bariach, and Ne'aryah, and Shaphat, six.
23 Bijtë e Neariahut ishin Elioenai, Ezekia dhe Azrikami, gjithsej tre.
And the sons of Ne'aryah: Elyo'enai, and Hezekiah, and 'Azrikam, three.
24 Bijtë e Elioenait ishin Hodaviahu, Eliashibi, Pelajahu, Akubi, Johanani, Delajahu dhe Anani, gjithsej shtatë.
And the sons of Elyo'enai were, Hodavyahu, and Elyashib, and Pelayah, and 'Akkub, and Jochanan, and Delayah, and 'Anani, seven.
