1 i Kronikave 28

1 Davidi mblodhi në Jeruzalem tërë krerët e Izraelit, të parët e fiseve, komandantët e divizioneve që ishin në shërbim të mbretit, komandantët e mijëshëve, komandantët e qindëshëve, administratorët

Therfor Dauid clepide togidere alle the princes of Israel, the duykis of lynagis, and the souereyns of cumpenyes, that `mynystriden to the kyng, also the tribunes, and centuriouns, and hem that weren souereyns ouer the catel and possessiouns of the kyng, and hise sones, with `nurchis, and techeris, and alle the myyti and strongeste men in the oost of Jerusalem.

2 Pastaj mbreti David u ngrit në këmbë dhe tha: “Më dëgjoni, o vëllezër të mi dhe o populli im! Unë kisha në zemër të ndërtoja një shtëpi paqeje për arkën e besëlidhjes të Zotit, për mbështetësen e këmbëve të Perëndisë tonë, dhe kisha bërë përgatitje për ta ndërtuar.

And whanne the kyng hadde rise, and `hadde stonde, he seide, My britheren and my puple, here ye me. Y thouyte for to bilde an hows, wherynne the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and the stool of the feet of oure God schulde reste; and Y made redi alle thingis to bilde.

3 Por Perëndia më tha: “Ti nuk do të ndërtosh një shtëpi në emrin tim, sepse ke qenë një njeri lufte dhe ke derdhur gjak”.

But God seide to me, Thou schalt not bilde an hows to my name, for thou art a man werriour, and hast sched blood.

4 Megjithatë Zoti, Perëndia i Izraelit, më ka zgjedhur mua nga tërë shtëpia e atit tim, që të bëhem mbret i Izraelit përjetë. Në fakt ai ka zgjedhur Judën si princ, dhe në shtëpinë e Judës shtëpinë e atit tim dhe midis bijve të atit tim i ka pëlqyer të më bëjë mua mbret të të gjithë Izraelit.

But the Lord God of Israel chees me of al the hows of my fadir, that Y schulde be kyng on Israel with outen ende; for of Juda he chees princes, sotheli of the hows of Juda he chees the hows of my fadir, and of the sones of my fadir it pleside hym to chese me kyng on al Israel.

5 Midis tërë bijve të mi (sepse Zoti më ka dhënë shumë fëmijë) ai ka zgjedhur birin tim Salomon, që të ulet në fronin e mbretërisë të Zotit mbi Izraelin.

But also of my sones, for the Lord yaf to me many sones, he chees Salomon, my sone, that he schulde sitte in the troone of the rewme of the Lord on Israel.

6 Ai më tha: “Do të jetë biri yt Salomon ai që ka për të ndërtuar shtëpinë time dhe oborret e mia, sepse kam zgjedhur atë si djalin tim, dhe unë do të jem për atë si një baba.

And he seide to me, Salomon, thi sone, schal bilde myn hows, and myn auters; for Y haue chose hym to me in to a sone, and Y schal be to hym in to a fadir;

7 Do ta bëj të qëndrueshme përjetë mbretërinë e tij në rast se u përmbahet në mënyrë të vendosur urdhërimeve dhe dekreteve të mia, ashtu si po bën sot”.

and Y schal make stidefast his rewme til in to with outen ende, if he schal contynue to do myn heestis and domes, as and to dai.

8 Kështu, pra, përpara tërë Izraelit, asamblesë së Zotit, dhe përpara Perëndisë tonë që na dëgjon, zbatoni dhe kërkoni tërë urdhërimet e Zotit, Perëndisë tuaj, me qëllim që të mund ta zotëroni këtë vend të mirë dhe t’ia lini si trashëgimi bijve tuaj mbas jush, përjetë.

Now therfor bifor al the cumpeny of Israel, `Y seie these thingis that suen in the heryng of God, kepe ye and seke ye alle the comaundementis of `youre Lord God, that ye haue in possessioun a good lond, and that ye leeue it to youre sones aftir you til in to with outen ende.

9 Ti Salomon, biri im njihe Perëndinë e atit tënd dhe shërbeji me gjithë zemër dhe me shpirt vullnetmirë, sepse Zoti heton të gjitha zemrat dhe kupton tërë qëllimet e mendimeve. Në rast se ti e kërkon, ai do të të lërë ta gjesh; por në rast se ti e braktis, ai do të të hedhë poshtë përjetë.

But thou, Salomon, my sone, knowe the God of thi fadir, and serue thou hym with perfit herte, and wilful soule; for the Lord serchith alle hertis, and vndirstondith alle thouytis of soulis; if thou sekist hym, thou schalt fynde hym; forsothe if thou forsakist hym, he schal caste thee awei with outen ende.

10 Tani ki parasysh që Zoti të ka zgjedhur për të ndërtuar një shtëpi si shenjtërore; tregohu i fortë dhe futju punës!”.

Now therfor, for the Lord chees thee, for to bilde the hows of seyntuarie, be thou coumfortid, and parforme.

11 Atëherë Davidi i dha birit të tij Salomonit projektin e portikut të tempullit, të godinave të tij, të dhomave të tij, të thesareve të tij, të dhomave të sipërme, të dhomave të brendshme dhe të vendit të pajtuesit,

Forsothe Dauid yaf to Salomon, his sone, the discryuyng, `ether ensaumple, of the porche, and of the temple, and of celeris, and of the soler, and of closetis in pryuy places, and of the hows of propiciacioun, `that is, of mersi;

12 si dhe projektin e të gjitha gjërave që kishte në mendje për Frymën lidhur me oborret e shtëpisë të Zotit, me të gjitha dhomat anësore, me thesaret e shtëpisë së Perëndisë dhe me thesaret e sendeve të shenjtëruara,

also and of alle thingis whiche he thouyte of the large places, and of chaumbris bi cumpas, in to the tresours of the hows of the Lord, and `in to the tresours of holi thingis,

13 me klasat e priftërinjve dhe të Levitëve, me tërë punën lidhur me shërbimin e shtëpisë të Zotit dhe me të gjitha veglat e nevojshme për shërbimin e shtëpisë të Zotit.

and of the departyngis of preestis and of dekenes, in to alle the werkis of the hows of the Lord, and alle vessels of the seruyce of the temple of the Lord.

14 I dha arin duke treguar peshën e sendeve prej ari, për të gjitha veglat që përdoren në çdo lloj shërbimi, dhe argjendin duke treguar peshën e të gjitha veglave prej argjendi, për të gjitha veglat që përdoren në çdo lloj shërbimi.

Of gold in weiyte bi ech vessel of the seruyce, and of siluer, for dyuersitee of vessels, and of werkis;

15 I dha gjithashtu peshën e arit për shandanët prej ari dhe për llambat e tyre prej ari, duke treguar peshën e çdo shandani dhe të llambave të tij, dhe peshën e argjendit për shandanët prej argjendi, duke treguar peshën e çdo shandani dhe të llambave të tij, sipas përdorimit të çdo shandani.

but also to goldun candilstikis, and to her lanternes, he yaf gold, for the mesure of ech candilstike and lanternes; also and in silueren candilstikis, and in her lanternes, he bitook the weiyte of siluer, for the dyuersite of mesure.

16 I dha gjithashtu, duke treguar peshën, arin për tryezat e bukëve të paraqitjes, për çdo tryezë, dhe argjendin për tryezat prej argjendi,

Also and he yaf gold in to the bord of settyng forth, for the dyuersite of mesure, also and he yaf siluer in to othere siluerne boordis;

17 dhe arin e kulluar për pirunët e mëdhenj, për legenët e vegjël dhe për kupat, dhe arin, duke treguar peshën për kupat prej ari, për çdo kupë, dhe argjendin, duke treguar peshën për kupat prej argjendi, për çdo kupë.

also to fleisch hookis, and viols, and censeris of pureste gold; and to litle goldun lyouns, for the maner of mesure, he departide a weiyte in to a litil lyoun and a litil lioun; also and in to siluerne liouns he departide dyuerse weiyte of siluer.

18 I dha gjithashtu ar të kulluar për altarin e temjanit, duke treguar peshën, dhe për modelin e qerres, domethënë, kerubinët prej ari që hapnin krahët dhe mbulonin arkën e besëlidhjes të Zotit.

Forsothe he yaf pureste gold to the auter, wherynne encense was brent, that a lickenesse of the cart of cherubyns, holdinge forth wyngis, and hilynge the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, schulde be maad therof.

19 “Tërë kjo”, tha Davidi, “m’u dha e shkruar nga dora e Zotit, që më bëri të kuptoj tërë punimet e këtij projekti”.

Dauid seide, Alle thingis camen writun bi the hond of the Lord to me, that Y schulde vndirstonde alle the werkis of the saumpler.

20 Davidi i tha pastaj të birit Salomon: “Ji i fortë dhe trim, përvishju punës, mos ki frikë dhe mos u trondit, sepse Zoti Perëndi, Perëndia im, do të jetë me ty. Ai nuk do të lërë dhe nuk do të braktisë deri sa të mbarosh tërë punën për shërbimin e shtëpisë të Zotit.

And Dauid seide to Salomon, his sone, Do thou manli, and be thou coumfortid, and make; drede thou not `with outforth, nether drede thou `with ynne; for `my Lord God schal be with thee, and he schal not leeue thee, nether schal forsake thee, til thou performe al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord.

21 Dhe ja klasat e priftërinjve dhe të Levitëve për tërë shërbimin e shtëpisë së Perëndisë; përveç kësaj, për çdo punë do të kesh në dispozicion lloj lloj specialistësh vullnetmirë, në çdo veprimtari; edhe krerët edhe tërë populli do të jenë plotësisht nën urdhrat e tua”.

Lo! the departyngis of prestis and of dekenes, in to al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord, schulen stonde niy thee; and thei ben redi, and bothe the princes and the puple kunnen do alle thi comaundementis.
