Fqinjët i vunë një emër dhe thonin: “I lindi një djalë Naomit!”. E quajtën Obed. Ai qe ati i Isait, ati i Davidit.
وَسَمَّتْهُ ٱلْجَارَاتُ ٱسْمًا قَائِلَاتٍ: «قَدْ وُلِدَ ٱبْنٌ لِنُعْمِي» وَدَعَوْنَ ٱسْمَهُ عُوبِيدَ. هُوَ أَبُو يَسَّى أَبِي دَاوُدَ.
