Nehemiah 9:29
and testified against them, that you might bring them again to your law. Yet they were arrogant, and did not listen to your commandments, but sinned against your ordinances (which if a man does, he shall live in them), turned their backs, stiffened their neck, and would not hear.

| وَأَنْذَرْتَهُمْ لِتَرُدَّهُمْ إِلَى شَرِيعَتِكَ. غَيْرَ أَنَّهُمْ طَغَوْا وَتَمَرَّدُوا عَلَى وَصَايَاكَ وَأَخْطَأُوا ضِدَّ أَحْكَامِكَ، الَّتِي إِنْ مَارَسَهَا إِنْسَانٌ يَحْيَا بِهَا، وَاعْتَصَمُوا بِعِنَادِهِمْ وَأَغْلَظُوا قُلُوبَهُمْ وَلَمْ يُطِيعُوا. |
আপোনাৰ বিধানলৈ যাতে তেওঁলোক ঘূৰি আহে তাৰ বাবে আপুনি তেওঁলোকক সাৱধান কৰিলে। তথাপি তেওঁলোকে গৰ্ব্ব আচৰণ কৰি আপোনাৰ আজ্ঞাবোৰ নুশুনিলে। যি সকলে আপোনাৰ বিধান পালন কৰে, তেওঁলোকে জীৱন লাভ কৰে; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে সেই বিধানৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পাপ কৰিলে। তেওঁলোকে বিধানবোৰ পালন নকৰিলে, তালৈ মনোযোগো নিদিলে, আনকি তেওঁলোকে সেইবোৰ নিশুনিলেও।
Onlara xəbərdarlıq etdin ki, Sənin Qanununa tərəf dönsünlər. Amma onlar təkəbbürlü olub əmrlərinə qulaq asmadılar və hökmlərini pozub günah etdilər. Halbuki o hökmlərə əməl edən hər kəs həyat tapar. Onlar inadkarlıqla Sənə arxa çevirib dikbaşlıq və itaətsizlik etdilər.

তোমার ব্যবস্থার দিকে ফিরে আনার জন্য তুমি তাদের সাক্ষ্য দিতে, তবুও তাদের ব্যবহার ছিল অহঙ্কারে পূর্ণ; তারা তোমার সব আদেশ অমান্য করত। কিন্তু তোমার যে সব নির্দেশ পালন করলে মানুষ বাঁচে, তোমার সেই সব শাসনের বিরুদ্ধে তারা পাপ করত। তারা কাঁধ সরিয়ে এবং ঘাড় শক্ত করে তোমার কথা শুনত না।
“তোমার বিধানের দিকে ফিরে আসবার জন্য তুমি তাদের সতর্ক করেছিলে, কিন্তু তারা অহংকারে পূর্ণ ছিল, ও তোমার আজ্ঞা অমান্য করেছিল। তোমার যেসব নির্দেশ পালন করলে মানুষ বাঁচে তার বিরুদ্ধে তারা পাপ করেছিল। তারা একগুঁয়ে হয়ে এবং ঘাড় শক্ত করে তোমার কথা শুনতে চায়নি।
Ти и заявяваше против тях, за да ги обърнеш към закона Си; но те се гордееха и не слушаха Твоите заповеди, но съгрешаваха против съдбите Ти (чрез които, ако ги изпълнява човек, ще живее), и обръщаха към Тебе гърба си, и закоравяваха врата си та и не слушаха.

“Nangman na danthua ahung kilehei kitna diuvin nagih saljin ahinla amaho akiletsah un, alouchal’un, nathupeh anah sahmo jiuvin ahi. Chule na danthu ho hi ajuiju leh ahindoh jeng theina diu jong ajui nom pouvin ahi; amaho alouchal’un nangma nanung ngat’un nathu angai nom pouvin ahi.”

And gave witness against them so that you might make them come back again to your law: but their hearts were lifted up, and they gave no attention to your orders and went against your decisions (which, if a man keeps them, will be life to him), and turning their backs on you, made their necks stiff and did not give ear.

“You warned them that they should again [obey] your laws, but they became proud and stubborn, and they disobeyed your commands. They sinned by disobeying what you commanded them to do, the things that would enable them to live a good long life [if they obeyed them]. They stubbornly refused [IDM] to listen to you and continued sinning.
You warned them so they might turn back to your law. Yet they acted arrogantly and did not listen to your commands. They sinned against your decrees which give life to anyone who obeys them. They gave the stubborn shoulder-blade and stiffened their neck and refused to listen.

Ils ont toujours tiré l'épaule en arrière, et ont roidi leur cou, et n'ont pas écouté.
De plus, vous les avez pressés de venir à votre loi; mais ils ont agi insolemment; ils n’ont pas écouté vos commandements, et ils ont péché contre vos ordonnances dans lesquelles l’homme qui les pratiquera, trouvera la vie; mais ils ont tourné l’épaule en arrière; ils ont rendu leur cou inflexible, et n’ont pas écouté.
Tu les conjuras de revenir à ta loi; et ils persévérèrent dans l’orgueil, ils n’écoutèrent point tes commandements, ils péchèrent contre tes ordonnances, qui font vivre celui qui les met en pratique, ils eurent une épaule rebelle, ils raidirent leur cou, et ils n’obéirent point.

Et tu les adjurais de revenir à ta loi; mais ils se sont élevés avec orgueil, et n'ont point obéi à tes commandements; ils ont péché contre tes ordonnances, qui feront vivre quiconque les observera. Ils ont tiré l'épaule en arrière; ils ont roidi leur cou, et n'ont pas écouté.

Et vous les avez admonestés pour qu'ils se convertissent à votre loi; mais ils ne nous ont point écouté, et ils ont péché contre vos commandements et vos jugements, par lesquels, en les faisant, l'homme vivra. Et ils ont tourné le dos, et ils ont endurci leur cœur, et ils ne vous ont pas écouté.
Tu leur faisais des remontrances pour les ramener à ta loi; mais eux, ils étaient arrogants, n’obéissant pas à tes préceptes et péchant contre tes statuts, par lesquels l’homme, qui les pratique, obtient la vie; ils présentaient un cou rebelle, raidissaient leur nuque et n’écoutaient point.
Du warntest sie, um sie zu Deiner Lehre wieder hinzuführen. Auf Deine Vorschrift hatten sie in ihrem Frevelsinne nicht gehört. Sie hatten gegen Deine Rechte sich verfehlt, durch die ein Mensch am Leben bleibt, erfüllt er sie. Sie aber zeigten sich gar störrisch. Hartnäckig waren sie geworden, ungehorsam.
Und du zeugtest wider sie, [O. warntest, ermahntest sie; so auch v 30 usw.] um sie zu deinem Gesetz zurückzuführen, sie aber waren übermütig und gehorchten deinen Geboten nicht, sondern sündigten wider deine Rechte, durch welche der Mensch, wenn er sie tut, leben wird; und sie zogen die Schulter widerspenstig zurück und verhärteten ihren Nacken und gehorchten nicht.
Und du zeugtest wider sie, um sie zu deinem Gesetz zurückzuführen, sie aber waren übermütig und gehorchten deinen Geboten nicht, sondern sündigten wider deine Rechte, durch welche der Mensch, wenn er sie tut, leben wird; und sie zogen die Schulter widerspenstig zurück und verhärteten ihren Nacken und gehorchten nicht.
Und du verwarntest sie, um sie zu deinem Gesetze zurückzuführen; sie aber waren übermütig und hörten nicht auf deine Gebote und versündigten sich gegen deine Ordnungen, durch die doch leben soll, wer nach ihnen thut. Sie aber kehrten dir widerspenstig den Rücken zu und zeigten sich halsstarrig und gehorchten nicht.

Obgleich du sie aber ernstlich warnen ließest, um sie zu deinem Gesetz zurückzuführen, waren sie doch trotzig und gehorchten deinen Geboten nicht, sondern sündigten gegen deine Verordnungen, obwohl der Mensch doch durch deren Beobachtung sein Leben bewahrt; sie wollten sich kein Joch auf ihre Schulter legen lassen und waren halsstarrig, so daß sie nicht gehorchten.
Und du ließest ihnen bezeugen, daß sie zu deinem Gesetze zurückkehren sollten; aber sie waren übermütig und folgten deinen Geboten nicht, sondern sündigten gegen deine Rechte, durch die der Mensch, wenn er sie befolgt, leben wird, und kehrten dir widerspenstig den Nacken zu und folgten nicht.

ನಿನ್ನ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪುನಃ ಮನಗೊಟ್ಟು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಲಾಲಿಸದೆ ಗರ್ವಿಗಳೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರೂ ಆದರು. ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಜೀವಾಧಾರವಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಧಿನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿ ಮೊಂಡು ಬಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದರು.
