Nehemiah 5:9
Also I said, “The thing that you do is not good. Should not you walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the nations, our enemies?

| وَقُلْتُ: «لَيْسَ حَسَنًا ٱلْأَمْرُ ٱلَّذِي تَعْمَلُونَهُ. أَمَا تَسِيرُونَ بِخَوْفِ إِلَهِنَا بِسَبَبِ تَعْيِيرِ ٱلْأُمَمِ أَعْدَائِنَا؟ |
| ثُمَّ اسْتَطْرَدْتُ: «هَذَا تَصَرُّفٌ سَيْءٌ. أَلاَ تَسْلُكُونَ فِي خَوْفِ إِلَهِنَا تَفَادِياً لِتَعْيِيرِ الأُمَمِ أَعْدَائِنَا؟ |
মই পুনৰ ক’লোঁ, “আপোনালোকে যি কৰি আছে সেয়া ভাল নহয়। আমাৰ দেশৰ শত্রুবোৰে আমাক নিন্দা কৰাটো নিষেধ কৰিবলৈ আপোনালোকে আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰলৈ ভয় ৰাখি চলা উচিত নহয় নে?
Sonra mən dedim: «Etdiyiniz bu iş yaxşı deyil. Siz düşmənlərimiz olan yadelli millətlərin danlağından qurtulmaq üçün Allahımıza ehtiram göstərərək yaşamalı deyilsinizmi?
আমি আরও বললাম, “তোমাদের এই কাজ ভালো না; আমাদের শত্রু জাতিদের টিটকারির জন্য তোমরা আমাদের ঈশ্বরের ভয়ে চলবে না?

Пак рекох: Не е добро това, което правите. Не трябва ли да ходите в страха на нашия Бог, за да не ни укоряват езичниците, нашите неприятели?

Kotero ndinapitiriza kunena kuti, “Zimene mukuchitazi si zabwino. Kodi inu simungakhale ndi moyo woopa Mulungu wathu kuti tipewe kunyoza kwa adani athu, anthu a mitunda inayi?

Chuin keiman kaseibe kitin, “Nathil bol’u hi adihpoi! I-melma nam hohin einoise louna diuvin I-Pathen’u ginna a hi ikimanchah lou diu ham?
我又说：“你们所行的不善！你们行事不当敬畏我们的 神吗？不然，难免我们的仇敌外邦人毁谤我们。
我又說：「你們所行的不善！你們行事不當敬畏我們的上帝嗎？不然，難免我們的仇敵外邦人毀謗我們。
我接著說：「你們作的這事實在不對! 為避免異民—我們仇敵的辱罵，你們豈不應懷著敬畏我們天主的心行事嗎﹖

Eka ne adhi nyime ka awacho niya, “Gima utimoni ok ber. Donge duluorie Nyasachwa mondo ugengʼ achaya mar joma ok jo-Yahudi ma wasikwa ochayowago?
Voorts zeide ik: De zaak is niet goed, die gijlieden doet; zoudt gij niet wandelen in de vreze onzes Gods, om de versmading der heidenen, onze vijanden?
Ik vervolgde: Het is niet goed, wat gij doet. Moet gij niet leven in de vrees van onzen God, om de smaad der heidenen, onze vijanden, te ontgaan?
Voorts zeide ik: De zaak is niet goed, die gijlieden doet; zoudt gij niet wandelen in de vreze onzes Gods, om de versmading der heidenen, onze vijanden?
Also I said, The thing that ye do is not good. Ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God, because of the reproach of the nations our enemies?
Also I said, “The thing that you do is not good. Should not you walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the nations, our enemies?

So I continued, “What you are doing is not right. Shouldn’t you walk in the fear of our God to avoid the reproach of our foreign enemies?
And I said, What you are doing is not good: is it not the more necessary for you to go in the fear of our God, because of the shame which the nations may put on us?
And I said, The thing which ye do [is] not good; ye will not so walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the Gentiles our enemies.
And I said, The thing which you do [is] not good; you will not so walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the Gentiles our enemies.
And I said to them: “The thing that you are doing is not good. Why are you not walking in the fear of our God, so that there may be no reproach against us from our enemies, the Gentiles?
And I said, The thing that ye do is not good. Ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God, so as not to be the reproach of the nations our enemies?
And I said to them: The thing you do is not good: why walk you not in the fear of our God, that we be not exposed to the reproaches of the Gentiles our enemies?
“What you're doing isn't right,” I told them. “Don't you think you should respect our God so that enemy nations don't criticize us?
I said also, That which ye do, is not good. Ought ye not to walke in the feare of our God, for the reproche of the heathen our enemies?
Also I said: 'The thing that ye do is not good; ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God, because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
Also I said, It [is] not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
Also I said, It is not good that you do: should you not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?

Also I said, It is not good that all of you do: ought all of you not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
And I said, The thing which you do [is] not good; you will not so walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the Gentiles our enemies.
Then said I, The thing is not good which ye are doing: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God, because of the taunting of the nations, our enemies?
And I say, “The thing that you are doing [is] not good; do you not walk in the fear of our God, because of the reproach of the nations our enemies?
Also I said, "The thing that you do is not good. Ought you not to walk in the fear of our God, to prevent the taunts of the nations our enemies?
Also I said, "The thing that you do is not good. Ought you not to walk in the fear of our God, to prevent the taunts of the nations our enemies?

Then said I, Not good, is the thing which ye are doing, —ought ye not, in the fear of God, to walk, because of the reproach of the nations, our enemies?

Then I said to them, “What you are doing is terrible [EUP]! You certainly ought to [RHQ] obey God and do what is right! If you did that, our enemies who do not revere Yahweh [would see that we are doing what is right and] would not ridicule us.
Also I said, “What you are doing is not good. Should you not walk in the fear of our God to prevent the taunts of the nations that are our enemies?
Also I said, That [is] not good which ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?

Kaj mi diris: Ne bona estas tio, kion vi faras. Ĉu vi ne devas konduti kun timo antaŭ nia Dio, por eviti malhonoron de la flanko de la nacioj, niaj malamikoj?

J’ajoutai: « Ce n’est pas une bonne action que vous faites là! Ne devriez-vous pas marcher dans la crainte de notre Dieu, pour éviter l’insulte des nations, nos ennemies?
Et je dis: Ce que vous faites n'est pas bien. Ne voulez-vous pas marcher dans la crainte de notre Dieu, pour n'être pas l'opprobre des nations qui sont nos ennemies?
Alors ils se turent, et ils ne trouvèrent mot à dire. Et je dis: Il n'est pas bien à vous d'en agir de la sorte! Ne devriez-vous pas marcher dans la crainte de notre Dieu, pour n'être pas honnis par les peuples, nos ennemis?
Et je dis: Elle n'est pas bonne l'action que vous faites; ce n'est pas ainsi que vous vous soustrairez, par la crainte de Dieu, aux outrages des nations, vos ennemies.
J’Ajoutai: "Ce que vous faites n’est pas bien. Ne devriez-vous pas marcher dans la crainte de notre Dieu, ne serait-ce qu’à cause des outrages des Gentils, qui sont nos ennemis?
Ich sprach: "Nichtsnutzig ist, was ihr tut. Solltet ihr nicht in der Furcht vor unserem Gott wandeln, schon aus Scham vor den Heiden, unseren Feinden?
Und ich sprach: Nicht gut ist die Sache, die ihr tut! Solltet ihr nicht in der Furcht unseres Gottes wandeln, daß wir nicht den Nationen, unseren Feinden, zum Hohne seien?

Und ich sprach: es ist nicht schön, daß ihr so handelt! Solltet ihr nicht vielmehr in der Furcht unseres Gottes wandeln, schon um der Schmähung der Heiden, unserer Feinde, willen?
Und ich sprach: Es ist nicht gut, das ihr tut. Solltet ihr nicht in der Furcht Gottes wandeln um der Schmach willen der Heiden, unserer Feinde?
Und ich sprach: Es ist nicht gut, was ihr tut. Solltet ihr nicht in der Furcht Gottes wandeln um des Hohnes willen der Heiden, unsrer Feinde?
fuhr ich fort: »Was ihr da tut, ist unwürdig! Ihr solltet doch in der Furcht unsers Gottes wandeln, damit wir unseren heidnischen Feinden keine Veranlassung zu Lästerungen geben!
Und ich sprach: Was ihr da tut, ist nicht gut. Solltet ihr nicht in der Furcht unsres Gottes wandeln wegen der Schmähungen der Heiden, unsrer Feinde?
Ningĩ ngĩthiĩ na mbere ngiuga atĩrĩ, “Ũrĩa mũreka ti wega. Githĩ mũtiagĩrĩirwo nĩ gũthiiaga mwĩtigĩrĩte Ngai witũ nĩgeetha tũtikanyararwo nĩ ndũrĩrĩ iria irĩ ũthũ na ithuĩ?
Και είπα, Δεν είναι καλόν το πράγμα το οποίον σεις κάμνετε· δεν πρέπει να περιπατήτε εν τω φόβω του Θεού ημών, διά να μη ονειδίζωσιν ημάς τα έθνη, οι εχθροί ημών;
καὶ εἶπα οὐκ ἀγαθὸς ὁ λόγος ὃν ὑμεῖς ποιεῖτε οὐχ οὕτως ἐν φόβῳ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἀπελεύσεσθε ἀπὸ ὀνειδισμοῦ τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν ἐχθρῶν ἡμῶν
વળી મેં કહ્યું કે, “તમે જે કરી રહ્યા છો તે સારું નથી. આપણા વિદેશી શત્રુઓ નિંદા કરે એવી બીક રાખીને શું તમારે આપણા ઈશ્વરનો ભય રાખીને વર્તવું ન જોઈએ?

| ויאמר (ואמר) לא טוב הדבר אשר אתם עשים הלוא ביראת אלהינו תלכו מחרפת הגוים אויבינו |
| וַיֹּאמֶר (וָאֹומַ֕ר) לֹא־טֹ֥וב הַדָּבָ֖ר אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּ֣ם עֹשִׂ֑ים הֲלֹ֞וא בְּיִרְאַ֤ת אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ תֵּלֵ֔כוּ מֵחֶרְפַּ֖ת הַגֹּויִ֥ם אֹויְבֵֽינוּ׃ |
| (ויאמר) [וָאוֹמַר] לֹא־טוֹב הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּם עֹשִׂים הֲלוֹא בְּיִרְאַת אֱלֹהֵינוּ תֵּלֵכוּ מֵחֶרְפַּת הַגּוֹיִם אוֹיְבֵֽינוּ׃ |
| ויאמר לא טוב הדבר אשר אתם עשים הלוא ביראת אלהינו תלכו מחרפת הגוים אויבינו׃ |
| ויאמר וָאוֹמַר לֹא־טוֹב הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּם עֹשִׂים הֲלוֹא בְּיִרְאַת אֱלֹהֵינוּ תֵּלֵכוּ מֵחֶרְפַּת הַגּוֹיִם אוֹיְבֵֽינוּ׃ |
| ויאמר לֹא־ט֥וֹב הַדָּבָ֖ר אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּ֣ם עֹשִׂ֑ים הֲל֞וֹא בְּיִרְאַ֤ת אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ תֵּלֵ֔כוּ מֵחֶרְפַּ֖ת הַגּוֹיִ֥ם אוֹיְבֵֽינוּ׃ |
फिर मैं कहता गया, “जो काम तुम करते हो वह अच्छा नहीं है; क्या तुम को इस कारण हमारे परमेश्वर का भय मानकर चलना न चाहिये कि हमारे शत्रु जो अन्यजाति हैं, वे हमारी नामधराई न करें?
मैंने उन्हें दोबारा चेतावनी दी, “आप जो कुछ कर रहे हैं, वह गलत है. हमारे शत्रु देश हमारी निंदा करें, इस बात का ध्यान रखते हुए क्या यह सही नहीं कि आप अपने परमेश्वर का भय मानकर चलें?
És mondék: Nem jó dolog ez, a mit ti cselekesztek. Hát nem fogtok a mi Istenünk félelmében járni, hogy valahára ne gyalázzanak már minket a pogányok, a mi ellenségeink?
És mondtam: Nem jó a dolog, a mit ti cselekszetek. Nemde a mi Istenünk félelmében kellene járnotok, a nemzeteknek, ellenségeinknek gyalázása miatt!

Kataku: "Tidaklah patut apa yang kamu lakukan itu! Bukankah kamu harus berlaku dengan takut akan Allah kita untuk menghindarkan diri dari cercaan bangsa-bangsa lain, musuh-musuh kita?
Saya melanjutkan, “Cara berdagangmu itu salah! Seharusnya kamu menunjukkan rasa hormat kepada Allah, sehingga orang dari bangsa-bangsa musuh tidak dapat menemukan kesalahan kita.

我また言けるは汝らの爲すところ善らず汝らは我らの敵たる異邦人の誹謗をおもひて我儕の神を畏れつつ事をなすべきに非ずや
わたしはまた言った、「あなたがたのする事はよくない。あなたがたは、われわれの敵である異邦人のそしりをやめさせるために、われわれの神を恐れつつ事をなすべきではないか。
我また言けるは汝らの爲すところ善らず汝らは我らの敵たる異邦人の誹膀をおもひて我儕の神を畏れつつ事をなすべきに非ずや

ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಮಾಡುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಲ್ಲ. ಇತರ ದೇಶದವರಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಭಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ.
ಆನಂತರ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವಲ್ಲ; ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಅನ್ಯಜನರ ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ.
