Then those who feared the LORD spoke one with another; and the LORD listened and heard, and a book of memory was written before him for those who feared the LORD and who honored his name.

| ثُمَّ حَدَّثَ خَائِفُو الرَّبِّ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضاً. فَأَصْغَى الرَّبُّ إِلَى كَلاَمِهِمْ وَسَمِعَهُمْ، فَتَمَّ تَدْوِينُ أَسْمَاءِ مُتَّقِيِّ الرَّبِّ وَالْمُتَأَمِّلِينَ بِاسْمِهِ أَمَامَهُ فِي كِتَابِ تَذْكِرَةٍ، وَرَدَ فِيهِ: |

তারপর যারা সদাপ্রভুকে ভয় করত তারা একে অপরের সাথে কথা বলল এবং সদাপ্রভু তাদের কথা মন দিয়ে শুনলেন। যারা সদাপ্রভুকে ভয় ও তাঁর নাম সম্মান করত, তাদের সম্মন্ধে স্মরণীয় পুঁথি তাঁর সামনে লেখা হল।

Men därunder hava också de som frukta HERREN talat med varandra; och HERREN har aktat på dem och hört dem, och en minnesbok har blivit skriven inför hans ansikte till åminnelse av dessa som frukta HERREN och tänka på hans namn.
Men de, som frukta Herran, trösta hvarann alltså: Herren märker det, och hörer det; och det är en tänkeskrift för honom skrifven, för dem som frukta Herran, och tänka uppå hans Namn.

Khi đó, những người kính sợ Chúa Hằng Hữu nói chuyện với nhau, thì Ngài lưu ý lắng nghe. Trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu có quyển sách ghi nhớ về những người kính sợ Chúa và quý mến Danh Ngài.
