Malachi 1:13
You say also, ‘Behold, what a weariness it is!’ And you have sniffed at it”, says the LORD of Armies; “and you have brought that which was taken by violence, the lame, and the sick; thus you bring the offering. Should I accept this at your hand?” says the LORD.

| وَقُلْتُمْ: مَا هَذِهِ ٱلْمَشَقَّةُ؟ وَتَأَفَّفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْجُنُودِ. وَجِئْتُمْ بِٱلْمُغْتَصَبِ وَٱلْأَعْرَجِ وَٱلسَّقِيمِ، فَأَتَيْتُمْ بِٱلتَّقْدِمَةِ. فَهَلْ أَقْبَلُهَا مِنْ يَدِكُمْ؟ قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ. |
| ثُمَّ قُلْتُمْ: مَا هَذِهِ الْمَشَقَّةُ الَّتِي نَتَكَبَّدُهَا؟ وَتَأَفَّفْتُمْ عَلَيَّ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ. وَتُقَرِّبُونَ إِلَيَّ مَا اسْتَوْلَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ ظُلْماً وَمَا هُوَ أَعْرَجُ أَوْ مَرِيضٌ، فَيَكُونُ هَذَا تَقْدِمَةَ قُرْبَانِكُمْ فَهَلْ أَقْبَلُ هَذَا مِنْ أَيْدِيكُمْ؟ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ. |

Ja te sanotte: "Mikä vaiva!" ja ylenkatsotte sen, sanoo Herra Sebaot, ja tuotte ryöstettyä, ontuvaa ja sairasta-tuotte uhrilahjaksi. -Minäkö mielistyisin ottamaan sen teidän kädestänne? sanoo Herra.

Et vous dites: Voilà, quel ennui! et vous soufflez dessus, dit l’Éternel des armées, et vous apportez ce qui a été déchiré, et la [bête] boiteuse, et la malade; c’est ainsi que vous apportez l’offrande. Agréerais-je cela de votre main? dit l’Éternel.
Vous dites aussi: Voici, ô que de travail! et vous soufflez dessus, a dit l'Eternel des armées. Vous amenez ce qui a été dérobé, ce qui est boiteux, et malade, vous l'amenez, dis-je, pour m'être offert. Accepterai-je cela de vos mains, a dit l'Eternel?
Et vous avez dit: Voilà de notre travail, et vous avez soufflé dessus, dit le Seigneur des armées; et vous avez amené un animal boiteux et malade, fruit de vos rapines, et vous l’offrez en présent; est-ce que je le recevrai de votre main? dit le Seigneur.
