Leviticus 11:4
“‘Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because it chews the cud but does not have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.

| أَمَّا الْحَيَوَانَاتُ الْمُجْتَرَّةُ فَقَطْ، أَوِ الْمَشْقُوقَةُ الظِّلْفِ فَقَطْ، فَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْهَا، فَالْجَمَلُ غَيْرُ طَاهِرٍ لَكُمْ لأَنَّهُ مُجْتَرٌّ وَلَكِنَّهُ غَيْرُ مَشْقُوقِ الظِّلْفِ، |
তথাপি ঘাঁহ পাগুলা বা খুৰা দুফাল হোৱাবোৰৰ মাজত তোমালোকে কোনোমতে খাব নলগীয়া পশু এইবোৰ; উট, কিয়নো সি ঘাঁহ পাগুলে হয়, কিন্তু দুফলীয়া খুৰা থকা নহয়, সি তোমালোকৰ পক্ষে অশুচি।
Lakin gövşəyən yaxud qoşadırnaqlı heyvanlar içində bunları yeməyin: dəvə, çünki o gövşəsə də, qoşadırnaqlı deyil, buna görə də sizin üçün haramdır;

কিন্তু যারা জাবর কাটে, কিংবা দুই টুকরো খুরবিশিষ্ট, তাদের মধ্যে তোমরা এই এই পশু খাবে না। উট তোমাদের পক্ষে অশুচি, কারণ সে জাবর কাটে বটে, কিন্তু দুই টুকরো খুরবিশিষ্ট নয়।
“‘পশুদের মধ্যে যে পশুরা কেবল জাবর কাটে অথবা কেবল দ্বিখণ্ড খুরবিশিষ্ট, তোমরা কোনোভাবে সেই পশু ভক্ষণ করবে না। উট যদিও জাবর কাটে, কিন্তু দ্বিখণ্ড খুরবিশিষ্ট নয়, তাই আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে তোমাদের পক্ষে উট অশুচি।

There are some animals that chew their cuds but do not have split hooves, and some animals that have split hooves but do not chew their cuds. You must not eat any of those animals. [For example], camels chew their cuds but do not have split hooves, so they are unacceptable for you to eat.
However, some animals either chew the cud or have a split hoof, and you must not eat them, animals such as the camel, because it chews the cud but does not have a split hoof. So the camel is unclean to you.

Dagegen dürft ihr von den Wiederkäuern nicht die genießen, die gespaltene Klauen haben: das Kamel; denn es hat, wenn auch Wiederkäuer, doch keine ganz gespaltenen Klauen. Unrein sei es euch!
Nur diese sollt ihr nicht essen von den wiederkäuenden und von denen, die gespaltene Hufe haben: das Kamel, denn es wiederkäut, aber es hat keine gespaltenen Hufe: unrein soll es euch sein;

“‘Akwai waɗanda suke tuƙa ko kuwa suna da rababben kofato kawai, duk da haka ba za ku ci su ba. Waɗannan kuwa su ne, raƙumi, ko da yake yana tuƙa, amma ba shi da rababben kofato; saboda haka cin namansa haram ne gare ku.
Aka, aole oukou e ai i keia mau mea o na mea nau i ka mea hoolualuaiia, a o na mea mahele maiuu, o ke kamelo, no ka mea, ua nau ia i ka mea hoolualuaiia, aole nae i mahele i ka maiuu, he haumia ia ia oukou.
