Judges 9:48
Abimelech went up to Mount Zalmon, he and all the people who were with him; and Abimelech took an ax in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it up, and laid it on his shoulder. Then he said to the people who were with him, “What you have seen me do, make haste, and do as I have done!”

| فَارْتَقَى هُوَ وَجَيْشُهُ جَبَلَ صَلْمُونَ، وَأَخَذَ فَأْساً بِيَدِهِ وَقَطَعَ غُصْنَ شَجَرَةٍ وَرَفَعَهُ وَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى كَتِفِهِ، وَقَالَ لِرِجَالِهِ: «كُلَّ مَا تَرَوْنَنِي أَفْعَلُهُ فَأَسْرِعُوا وَافْعَلُوا مِثْلِي». |
তেতিয়া তেওঁ নিজৰ লোকসকলক লগত লৈ চলমোন পৰ্ব্বতলৈ উঠি গ’ল। তেওঁ কুঠাৰ ললে আৰু গছৰ পৰা এটা ডাল কাটি নিজৰ কান্ধত তুলি ল’লে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ লগত থকা লোকসকলক আদেশ দিলে, “তোমালোকে মোক যি যি কৰা দেখিলা, তোমালোকেও শীঘ্রে তেনেকুৱা কৰিবা।”

তখন সে এবং তার সব লোকজন সল্মন পর্বতে উঠে গেল। সে একটি কুড়ুল নিয়ে গাছের কয়েকটি ডালপালা কেটে, সেগুলি তার কাঁধে তুলে নিল। তার সঙ্গে থাকা লোকদের সে আদেশ দিল, “তাড়াতাড়ি করো! আমাকে যা করতে দেখছ, তোমরাও তাই করো!”
