behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have spoken.”

| سَأَضَعُ اللَّيْلَةَ جَزَّةَ صُوفٍ فِي الْبَيْدَرِ، فَإِنِ ابْتَلَّتِ الْجَزَّةُ وَحْدَهَا بِالنَّدَى، وَبَقِيَتِ الأَرْضُ كُلُّهَا جَافَّةً، أُدْرِكُ أَنَّكَ تُنْقِذُ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى يَدَيَّ كَمَا وَعَدْتَنِي». |

gut, so will ich ein Schaffel auf der Tenne ausbreiten; wenn dann der Tau bloß auf dem Fell liegen wird, der ganze übrige Boden aber trocken bleibt, so will ich daran erkennen, daß du Israel durch meine Hand erretten willst, wie du verheißen hast.«
