Then the five men who went to spy out the country of Laish answered and said to their brothers, “Do you know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a carved image, and a molten image? Now therefore consider what you have to do.”

| فَقَالَ الرِّجَالُ الْخَمْسَةُ الَّذِينَ ذَهَبُوا لاِسْتِكْشَافِ أَرْضِ لايِشَ لِقَوْمِهِمْ: «أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ فِي هَذِهِ الْبُيُوتِ أَفُوداً وَتَرَافِيمَ وَتِمْثَالاً مَنْحُوتاً وَآخَرَ مَسْبُوكاً، فَانْظُرُوا مَاذَا تَفْعَلُونَ». |

Bedenkt also, was ihr zu tun habt!«
Da hoben die fünf Männer, die gegangen waren, das Land Lais auszukundschaften, an und sprachen zu ihren Brüdern: Wisset ihr, daß sich in diesen Häusern ein Ephod und Teraphim befinden, auch ein geschnitztes und gegossenes Bild? Und nun überlegt, was ihr tun wollt!
Und die fünf Männer, die gegangen waren, das Land Laisch auszukundschaften, hoben an und sprachen zu ihren Brüdern: Wisset ihr, daß da ist in diesen Häusern ein Ephod und Teraphim, und ein Schnitzbild und ein Gußbild? Und nun wisset ihr, was ihr tun sollt.
