Judges 11:2
Gilead’s wife bore him sons. When his wife’s sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out and said to him, “You will not inherit in our father’s house, for you are the son of another woman.”

| وَأَنْجَبَ جِلْعَادُ أَيْضاً عَدَداً مِنَ الأَبْنَاءِ مِنْ زَوْجَتِهِ، فَلَمَّا كَبِرُوا طَرَدُوا يَفْتَاحَ قَائِلِينَ لَهُ: «أَنْتَ ابْنُ عَاهِرَةٍ، وَلَنْ تَرِثَ شَيْئاً مِنْ بَيْتِ أَبِينَا». |

Gilead’s wife gave birth to several sons. When they grew up, they forced Jephthah to leave home, saying to him, “You are the son of a prostitute, [not the son of our mother]. So [when] our father [dies], you will not receive any of his property.”

Als nun die (rechtmäßige) Frau des (betreffenden) Gileaditers ihm Söhne gebar und die Söhne dieser Frau herangewachsen waren, hatten sie Jephtha ausgestoßen und zu ihm gesagt: »Du sollst in unserer Familie nicht miterben!, denn du bist der Sohn einer fremden Frau!«
Als aber das Weib Gileads ihm Söhne gebar und die Söhne dieses Weibes groß wurden, stießen sie den Jephtah aus und sprachen zu ihm: Du sollst nicht erben in unsres Vaters Haus; denn du bist der Sohn eines andern Weibes!

καὶ ἔτεκεν ἡ γυνὴ Γαλααδ αὐτῷ υἱούς καὶ ἡδρύνθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ τῆς γυναικὸς καὶ ἐξέβαλον τὸν Ιεφθαε καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ οὐ κληρονομήσεις ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν ὅτι υἱὸς γυναικὸς ἑταίρας σύ
ગિલ્યાદની પત્નીએ પણ દીકરાઓને જન્મ આપ્યો હતો. જયારે તે દીકરાઓ મોટા થયા, ત્યારે તેઓએ યિફતાને ઘર છોડી દેવા બળજબરી કરી અને તેને કહ્યું, “અમારા ઘરમાંથી તને કોઈપણ પ્રકારનો વારસો મળશે નહિ. કેમ કે તું બીજી સ્ત્રીનો દીકરો છે.”
