Joshua 7:7
Joshua said, “Alas, Lord GOD, why have you brought this people over the Jordan at all, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? I wish that we had been content and lived beyond the Jordan!
Pastaj Jozueu tha: “O Zot, o Zot, pse bëre që ky popull të kalojë Jordanin dhe të bjerë në duart e Amorejve për t’u vrarë? Ah, sikur të ishim kënaqur duke qëndruar këtej Jordanit!
| وَقَالَ يَشُوعُ: «آهِ يَا سَيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ! لِمَاذَا عَبَّرْتَ هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبَ ٱلْأُرْدُنَّ تَعْبِيرًا لِكَيْ تَدْفَعَنَا إِلَى يَدِ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ لِيُبِيدُونَا؟ لَيْتَنَا ٱرْتَضَيْنَا وَسَكَنَّا فِي عَبْرِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ. |
| وَقَالَ يَشُوعُ: «آهِ يَاسَيِّدُ الرَّبُّ، لِمَاذَا جَعَلْتَ هَذَا الشَّعْبَ يَجْتَازُ نَهْرَ الأُرْدُنِّ لِكَيْ تَدْفَعَنَا إِلَى يَدِ الأَمُورِيِّينَ حَتَّى يُبِيدُونَا؟ لَيْتَنَا كُنَّا قَنَعْنَا وَأَقَمْنَا شَرْقِيَّ نَهْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ. |
তেতিয়া যিহোচূৱাই ক’লে, “হায় হায়, হে প্ৰভু যিহোৱা, আমাক বিনষ্ট কৰাবৰ অৰ্থে এই ইমোৰীয়াসকলৰ হাতত আমাক শোধাই দিবলৈ, তুমি কিয় এই লোকসকলক যৰ্দ্দন পাৰ কৰি আনিলা? তাতকৈ আমি অন্য সিদ্ধান্তৰে ক্ষান্ত হৈ যৰ্দ্দনৰ সিপাৰে থকা হ’লেই কেনে ভাল আছিল!
Yeşua dedi: «Ah, ey Xudavənd Rəbb, bizi Emorlulara təslim etmək, bizi məhv etmək üçünmü bu xalqı İordan çayından keçirtdin? Kaş ki İordan çayının o tayında qalıb yaşayaydıq.
আর যিহোশূয় বললেন, “হায় হায়, হে প্রভু সদাপ্রভু, বিনাশের জন্য ইমোরীয়দের হাতে আমাদের সমর্পণ করবার জন্য তুমি কেন এই লোকদেরকে যর্দ্দন পার করে আনলে? হায় হায়, আমরা কেন সন্তুষ্ট হয়ে যর্দ্দনের ওপাড়ে থাকিনি।
আর যিহোশূয় বললেন, “হায়, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু, কেন তুমি এই লোকজনকে জর্ডন নদীর এপারে নিয়ে এসে আমাদের ধ্বংস করার জন্য ইমোরীয়দের হাতে সঁপে দিলে? জর্ডন নদীর ওপারে থাকাই আমাদের পক্ষে ভালো ছিল!
И рече Исус: Аз! Господи Иеова, защо преведе тия люде през Иордан, за да ни предадеш в ръцете на аморейците да ни погубят? О да бяхме били доволни да си седим оттатък Иордан!

约书亚说：“哀哉！主耶和华啊，你为什么竟领这百姓过约旦河，将我们交在亚摩利人的手中，使我们灭亡呢？我们不如住在约旦河那边倒好。
約書亞說：「哀哉！主耶和華啊，你為甚麼竟領這百姓過約旦河，將我們交在亞摩利人的手中，使我們滅亡呢？我們不如住在約旦河那邊倒好。
若蘇厄說：「唉，我主上主! 你為什麼領這百姓渡過約旦河，是為將我們交於阿摩黎人手中，讓我們消滅嗎﹖巴不得我們住在約旦河那邊倒好!
Tada reče Jošua: “Jao, Gospode Jahve, zašto si preveo ovaj narod preko Jordana? Da nas predaš u ruke Amorejaca da nas pobiju? Kamo sreće da smo stali s onu stranu Jordana!
I řekl Jozue: Ach, Panovníče Hospodine, proč jsi kdy převedl lid tento přes Jordán, abys nás vydal v ruku Amorejského, tak aby nás zahubil? Ó kdybychom byli raději zůstali za Jordánem.

Og Josva sagde: Ak, Herre, Herre! hvi lod du dog dette Folk gaa over Jordanen for at give os i Amoriternes Haand til vor Fordærvelse? og gid vi havde ladet os nøje og vare blevne paa hin Side Jordanen!

En Jozua zeide: Ach, Heere HEERE! waarom hebt Gij dit volk door de Jordaan ooit doen gaan, om ons te geven in de hand der Amorieten, om ons te verderven? Och, dat wij toch tevreden geweest en gebleven waren aan gene zijde van de Jordaan!
en Josuë sprak: Ach Jahweh, mijn Heer; waarom hebt Gij dit volk dan over de Jordaan gebracht? Om ons aan de Amorieten over te leveren, om ons in het verderf te storten? Hadden we toch maar besloten, om in het Overjordaanse te blijven!
En Jozua zeide: Ach, Heere HEERE! waarom hebt Gij dit volk door de Jordaan ooit doen gaan, om ons te geven in de hand der Amorieten, om ons te verderven? Och, dat wij toch tevreden geweest en gebleven waren aan gene zijde van de Jordaan!
And Joshua said, Alas, O lord Jehovah, why have thou at all brought this people over the Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? Would that we had been content and dwelt beyond the Jordan!
Joshua said, “Alas, Lord GOD, why have you brought this people over the Jordan at all, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? I wish that we had been content and lived beyond the Jordan!
And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord Jehovah, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over the Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? would that we had been content and dwelt beyond the Jordan!
“O, Lord GOD,” Joshua said, “why did You ever bring this people across the Jordan to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to be destroyed? If only we had been content to stay on the other side of the Jordan!
And Joshua said, O Lord God, why have you taken us over Jordan only to give us up into the hands of the Amorites for our destruction? If only it had been enough for us to keep on the other side of Jordan!
And Joshua said, I pray, Lord, wherefore has thy servant brought this people over Jordan to deliver them to the Amorite to destroy us? would we had remained and settled ourselves beyond Jordan.
And Joshua said, I pray, Lord, therefore has your servant brought this people over Jordan to deliver them to the Amorite to destroy us? would we had remained and settled ourselves beyond Jordan.
And Joshua said: “Alas, O Lord God! Why would you want to lead this people over the river Jordan, so that you might deliver us into the hand of the Amorite and destroy us? I wish that we had remained beyond the Jordan, as when we began.
And Joshua said, Alas, Lord Jehovah, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over the Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Oh that we had been content and had remained beyond the Jordan!
And Josue said: Alas, O Lord God, why wouldst thou bring this people over the river Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorrhite, and to destroy us? would God, we had stayed beyond the Jordan as we began.
Joshua cried, “Why, oh why, Lord God, did you bring us across the Jordan River only to hand us over to the Amorites for them to destroy us? We should have been satisfied to stay on the other side of the Jordan!
And Ioshua said, Alas, O Lord God, wherefore hast thou brought this people ouer Iorden, to deliuer vs into the hande of the Amorites, and to destroye vs? would God we had bene content to dwell on the other side Iorden.
And Joshua said: 'Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast Thou at all brought this people over the Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? would that we had been content and dwelt beyond the Jordan!
And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, why have you at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelled on the other side Jordan!

And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, wherefore have you at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!

And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord Eternal, wherefore hast thou caused this people to pass over the Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Emorites, to destroy us? and oh! that we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of the Jordan!
And Joshua says, “Aah! Lord YHWH, why have You caused this people to pass over the Jordan at all, to give us into the hand of the Amorite to destroy us? And oh that we had been willing—and we dwell beyond the Jordan!
Joshua said, "Alas, Lord GOD, why have you brought this people over the Jordan at all, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? I wish that we had been content and lived beyond the Jordan.

And Joshua said—Alas! My Lord Yahweh! Wherefore hast thou, brought, this people over the Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorite to destroy us? Would then we had been content to dwell on the other side of the Jordan!
And he said Joshua alas! - O Lord Yahweh why? have you brought over at all the people this the Jordan to give us in [the] hand of the Amorite[s] to destroy us and if we had been willing and we had remained on [the] other side of the Jordan.
and to say Joshua alas! Lord YHWH/God to/for what? to pass: bring to pass: bring [obj] [the] people [the] this [obj] [the] Jordan to/for to give: give [obj] us in/on/with hand: power [the] Amorite to/for to perish us and if be willing and to dwell in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan
Then Joshua prayed and said, “Lord God, you brought us Israelis [safely] across the Jordan River. So why are you now allowing the Amor people-group to defeat us [RHQ]? [This would not have happened] if we had stayed on the other side of the Jordan River!
Then Joshua said, “Ah, Yahweh Lord, why have you brought this people across the Jordan at all? To give us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us? If only we made a different decision and we had stayed on the other side of the Jordan!
And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD GOD, why hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? O that we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of Jordan.

And Joshua saith, 'Ah, Lord Jehovah, why hast Thou at all caused this people to pass over the Jordan, to give us into the hand of the Amorite to destroy us? — and oh that we had been willing — and we dwell beyond the Jordan!
Kaj Josuo diris: Ho, mia Sinjoro, Eternulo, kial Vi transirigis ĉi tiun popolon trans Jordanon, por transdoni nin en la manon de la Amoridoj, por pereigi nin? ho, kial ni ne restis sur tiu flanko de Jordan?

Ja Josua sanoi: Ah Herra, Herra, miksis tämän kansan annoit olleenkaan tulla Jordanin ylitse, antaakses meitä Amorilaisten käsiin, hukuttaakses meitä? jospa me olisimme tyytyneet ja pysähtyneet sille puolelle Jordania!
Ja Joosua sanoi: "Voi, Herra, Herra, minkätähden toit tämän kansan Jordanin yli antaaksesi meidät amorilaisten käsiin ja tuhotaksesi meidät? Oi, jospa olisimme päättäneet jäädä tuolle puolelle Jordanin!
Josué dit: « Ah! Seigneur Yahweh, pourquoi avez-vous fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer entre les mains des Amorrhéens, afin de nous faire périr? Que n'avons-nous su rester de l'autre côté du Jourdain!
Josué dit: « Hélas, Seigneur Yahvé, pourquoi as-tu fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer entre les mains des Amoréens et nous faire périr? J'aurais voulu que nous soyons satisfaits et que nous vivions au-delà du Jourdain!
Et Josué dit: Hélas, Seigneur Éternel! pourquoi donc as-tu fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer en la main de l’Amoréen, pour nous faire périr? Si seulement nous avions su être contents, et que nous soyons demeurés au-delà du Jourdain!
Et Josué dit: Hélas! Seigneur Eternel, pourquoi as-tu fait [si magnifiquement] passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer entre les mains de l'Amorrhéen, [et] nous faire périr? Ô que n'avons-nous eu dans l'esprit [de demeurer], et que ne sommes-nous demeurés au delà du Jourdain!
Et Josué dit: Hélas, Seigneur Dieu! avez-vous donc voulu faire passer à ce peuple le fleuve du Jourdain pour nous livrer entre les mains des Amorrhéens, et pour nous perdre? Il eût été à souhaiter que nous fussions demeurés au-delà du Jourdain, comme nous avions commencé de le faire.
Josué dit: Ah! Seigneur Éternel, pourquoi as-tu fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer entre les mains des Amoréens et nous faire périr? Oh! Si nous eussions su rester de l’autre côté du Jourdain!
Josué dit: « Ah! Seigneur Yahweh, pourquoi avez-vous fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer entre les mains des Amorrhéens, afin de nous faire périr? Que n’avons-nous su rester de l’autre côté du Jourdain!
Et Josué dit: Ah! Seigneur Éternel, pourquoi as-tu fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer entre les mains de l'Amoréen, pour nous faire périr? Oh! que n'avons-nous pris le parti de demeurer au delà du Jourdain!
Et Josué dit: Ah! Seigneur, Éternel, pourquoi as-tu fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer aux mains des Amoréens, pour nous perdre? si seulement nous nous étions contentés de rester au delà du Jourdain!
Et Josué dit: Je vous conjure, Seigneur, pourquoi votre serviteur a-t-il fait passer le Jourdain à ce peuple pour être livré à l'Amorrhéen et périr? Que ne sommes-nous restés, que ne nous sommes-nous établis sur l'autre rive!
Et Josué dit: "Ah! Seigneur, Elohim! Pourquoi as-tu fait traverser le Jourdain à ce peuple, pour nous livrer au pouvoir des Amorréens, pour nous faire périr? Que ne sommes-nous, de préférence, restés sur l’autre bord du Jourdain!
Und Josue sprach: "Ach Herr, Herr! Warum hast Du dies Volk aber den Jordan geführt, wenn Du uns den Amoritem zur Vernichtung preisgeben willst? Wären wir lieber jenseits des Jordan geblieben!
Und Josua sprach: Ach, Herr, Jehova! warum hast du denn dieses Volk über den Jordan ziehen lassen, um uns in die Hand der Amoriter zu geben, uns zu Grunde zu richten? O hätten wir es uns doch gefallen lassen und wären jenseit des Jordan geblieben!
Und Josua sprach: Ach, Herr, Jehova! Warum hast du denn dieses Volk über den Jordan ziehen lassen, um uns in die Hand der Amoriter zu geben, uns zu Grunde zu richten? O hätten wir es uns doch gefallen lassen und wären jenseit des Jordan geblieben!
Und Josua sprach: Ach Herr, Jahwe! Hast du denn dieses Volk den Jordan überschreiten lassen, um uns den Amoritern zu überliefern, damit sie uns vernichten? O hätten wir uns doch entschlossen, jenseits des Jordan wohnen zu bleiben!
Und Josua sprach: Ach, HERR, HERR, warum hast du dies Volk über den Jordan geführet, daß du uns in die Hände der Amoriter gäbest, uns umzubringen? O daß wir wären jenseit des Jordans geblieben, wie wir angefangen hatten!
Und Josua sprach: Ach Herr HERR, warum hast du dies Volk über den Jordan geführt, daß du uns in die Hände der Amoriter gäbest, uns umzubringen? O, daß wir's uns hätten gefallen lassen, jenseit des Jordans zu bleiben!
Darauf betete Josua: »Ach, HERR, mein Gott! Warum hast du dieses Volk über den Jordan geführt? Um uns in die Hand der Amoriter fallen zu lassen, damit sie uns vernichten? O hätten wir uns doch daran genügen lassen, jenseits des Jordans wohnen zu bleiben!
Und Josua sprach: Ach, Herr, HERR, warum hast du doch dieses Volk über den Jordan geführt, daß du uns in die Hände der Amoriter gebest, uns umzubringen? O daß wir doch jenseits des Jordan geblieben wären!
Und Joschua sprach: Ach, Herr, Jehovah! Warum ließest Du doch dieses Volk über den Jordan herüberziehen, um uns in die Hand des Amoriters zu geben und uns zu zerstören! Hätten wir doch jenseits des Jordans bleiben wollen!
Nake Joshua akiuga atĩrĩ, “Hĩ, Mwathani Jehova, nĩ kĩĩ gĩatũmire ũrehe andũ aya mũrĩmo ũyũ wa Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani nĩguo ũtũneane moko-inĩ ma Aamori, matũniine? Naarĩ korwo nĩtwaiganĩire tũtũũre mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani!
Και είπεν ο Ιησούς, Α Δέσποτα Κύριε, διά τι διεβίβασας τον λαόν τούτον διά του Ιορδάνου, διά να μας παραδώσης εις τας χείρας των Αμορραίων, ώστε να αφανίσωσιν ημάς; είθε να ευχαριστούμεθα καθήμενοι πέραν του Ιορδάνου

ત્યારે યહોશુઆ બોલ્યો, ‘અરે! હે પ્રભુ યહોવાહ, અમને અમોરીઓના હાથમાં સોંપીને અમારો નાશ કરવા સારુ તમે આ લોકોને યર્દન પાર કેમ લાવ્યા? અમે યર્દનની પેલે પાર રહેવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો હોત તો કેવું સારું!

और यहोशू ने कहा, “हाय, प्रभु यहोवा, तू अपनी इस प्रजा को यरदन पार क्यों ले आया? क्या हमें एमोरियों के वश में करके नष्ट करने के लिये ले आया है? भला होता कि हम संतोष करके यरदन के उस पार रह जाते!
यहोशू ने प्रभु याहवेह से बिनती की, “हे याहवेह परमेश्वर, आप इन लोगों को यरदन से पार क्यों लाए, क्या इसलिये कि हम अमोरियों के अधीन कर दिया जाए और हम नष्ट कर दिए जाएं? अच्छा होता कि हम यरदन के पार ही बस जाते!

Dan berkatalah Yosua: "Ah, Tuhanku ALLAH, mengapa Engkau menyuruh bangsa ini menyeberangi sungai Yordan? supaya kami diserahkan kepada orang Amori untuk dibinasakan? Lebih baik kalau kami putuskan tadinya untuk tinggal di seberang sungai Yordan itu!
Yosua berseru, “Ya, TUHAN Penguasaku, mengapa Engkau menyuruh kami menyeberangi sungai Yordan? Apakah hanya untuk dibinasakan oleh orang Amori?! Ah, seandainya kami sudah merasa puas tinggal di sana dan tidak mau menyeberangi sungai Yordan pasti hal itu tidak terjadi!

| یوشع چنین دعا کرد: «آه ای خداوند، چرا ما را به این سوی رود اردن آوردی تا به دست این اموریها کشته شویم؟ ای کاش راضی شده بودیم که همان طرف رودخانه بمانیم. |

И сказал Иисус: о, Господи Владыка! для чего Ты перевел народ сей чрез Иордан, дабы предать нас в руки Аморреев и погубить нас? о, если бы мы остались и жили за Иорданом!
И рече Исус: Јао! Господе Боже, зашто преведе овај народ преко Јордана да нас предаш у руке Аморејцима да нас побију? О, да хтесмо остати преко Јордана!
I reèe Isus: jaoh! Gospode Bože, zašto prevede ovaj narod preko Jordana da nas predaš u ruke Amorejcima da nas pobiju? o, da šæasmo ostati preko Jordana!

И рече Иисус: молюся, Господи Господи, вскую преведе раб Твой люди сия чрез Иордан предати их Аморреом на погубление? От, да быхом пребыли и вселилися у Иордана:
Józue je rekel: »Ojoj, oh Gospod Bog, čemu si to ljudstvo sploh privedel čez Jordan, da nas izročiš v roko Amoréjcev, da nas uničijo? Bog daj, da bi bili zadovoljni in prebivali na drugi strani Jordana!

Y Josué dijo: ¡Ah, Señor DIOS! ¿Por qué hiciste pasar a este pueblo el Jordán, para entregarnos en las manos de los amorreos, que nos destruyan? ¡Mejor nos hubiéramos quedado al otro lado del Jordán!
Josué gritó: “¿Por qué, oh por qué, Señor Dios, nos trajiste al otro lado del río Jordán sólo para entregarnos a los amorreos para que nos destruyan? ¡Deberíamos habernos conformado con quedarnos al otro lado del Jordán!
Josué dijo: “Ay, Señor Yahvé, ¿por qué has hecho pasar a este pueblo por el Jordán, para entregarnos en manos de los amorreos y hacernos perecer? ¡Ojalá nos hubiéramos contentado y hubiéramos vivido más allá del Jordán!
Josué dijo: ¡Ay, ʼAdonay Yavé! ¿Por qué ordenaste a este pueblo pasar el Jordán y nos entregaste en las manos de los amorreos para que nos destruya? ¡Ojalá nos hubiéramos quedado a vivir al otro lado del Jordán!
Y Josué dijo: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! por qué hiciste pasar a este pueblo el Jordán, para entregarnos en las manos de los Amorreos, que nos destruyan. ¡Oh, si nos hubiésemos quedado de la otra parte del Jordán!
Y Josué dijo: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿Por qué hiciste pasar á este pueblo el Jordán, para entregarnos en las manos de los Amorrheos, que nos destruyan? ¡Ojalá nos hubiéramos quedado de la otra parte del Jordán!
Y Josué dijo: Oh Señor Dios, ¿por qué nos has tomado sobre el Jordán solo para entregarnos en manos de los amorreos para nuestra destrucción? ¡Si solo hubiera sido suficiente para nosotros mantenernos al otro lado del Jordán!
Y dijo Josué: “¡Ay, Señor, Yahvé! ¿Por qué has hecho pasar a este pueblo el Jordán para entregarnos en manos de los amorreos y destruirnos? ¡Ojalá hubiéramos preferido quedarnos al otro lado del Jordán!
Kisha Yoshua akasema, “Oo, Yahweh Bwana, kwanini umewavusha watu hawa ng'ambo ya Yordani? Kutuweka katika mikono ya Waamori ili kutuangamiza? ikiwa kama tulifanya maamuzi tofauti na tungekaa katika upande mwingine wa Yordani!
Yoshua akasema, “Ee Bwana Mwenyezi, kwa nini umewavusha watu hawa ngʼambo ya Yordani ili kututia mikononi mwa Waamori watuangamize? Laiti tungeliridhika kukaa ngʼambo ile nyingine ya Yordani!
Och Josua sade: "Ack, Herre, HERRE, varför har du då fört detta folk över Jordan, om du vill giva i amoréernas hand och så förgöra oss? O att vi hade beslutit oss för att stanna på andra sidan Jordan!
Och Josua sade: Ack! Herre, Herre, hvi hafver du fört detta folket öfver Jordan, att du skulle gifva oss uti de Amoreers händer, till att förgöra oss? Ack! det vi dock hade blifvit på hinsidon Jordan, såsom vi begynt hade.
Och Josua sade: »Ack, Herre, HERRE, varför har du då fört detta folk över Jordan, om du vill giva i amoréernas hand och så förgöra oss? O att vi hade beslutit oss för att stanna på andra sidan Jordan!
At sinabi ni Josue, Ay, Oh Panginoong Dios, bakit mo pinatawid ang bayang ito sa Jordan, upang ibigay kami sa kamay ng mga Amorrheo, na ipalipol kami? nakatigil sana kaming masaya at nakatahan sa dakong yaon ng Jordan!
At sinabi ni Josue, Ay, Oh Panginoong Dios, bakit mo pinatawid ang bayang ito sa Jordan, upang ibigay kami sa kamay ng mga Amorrheo, na ipalipol kami? nakatigil sana kaming masaya at nakatahan sa dakong yaon ng Jordan!
Pagkatapos sinabi ni Josue, “Ah Panginoong Yahweh, bakit mo dinala ang bayang ito sa kabila ng Jordan? Para ibigay kami sa mga kamay ng mga Amoreo para lipulin kami? Kung gagawa lamang kami ng magkakaibang desisyon at manatili sa ibayong dako ng Jordan!
யோசுவா: ஆ, யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவரே, எங்களை அழிக்கும்படிக்கு எமோரியர்களின் கைகளில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பதற்காகவா இந்த மக்களை யோர்தான் நதியைக் கடக்கச்செய்தீர்? நாங்கள் யோர்தானுக்கு மறுபுறத்தில் மனதிருப்தியாக இருந்துவிட்டோமானால் நலமாக இருக்கும்.
அப்பொழுது யோசுவா, “ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, இந்த மக்களை ஏன் யோர்தானைக் கடக்கப்பண்ணி இங்கு கொண்டுவந்தீர்? எங்களை எமோரியர் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அழிப்பதற்காகவோ? நாங்கள் யோர்தானின் மறுகரையில் குடியிருப்பதில் திருப்தியடைந்திருந்தால் நலமாயிருந்திருக்குமே!

І сказав Ісус: „Ах, Владико Господи, для чого Ти конче перепровадив цей наро́д через Йорда́н, щоб дати нас у руку аморе́янина, щоб вигубити нас? О, коли б ми були позоста́лися, і осіли по той бік Йорда́ну!
और यशू'अ ने कहा, “हाय ऐ मालिक ख़ुदावन्द! तू हमको अमोरियों के हाथ में हवाला करके, हमारा नास कराने की ख़ातिर इस क़ौम को यरदन के इस पार क्यों लाया? काश कि हम सब्र करते और यरदन के उस पार ही ठहरे रहते।

Giô-suê nói: Oâi! Chúa Giê-hô-va, sao Ngài đem dân này qua sông Giô-đanh đặng phó chúng tôi vào tay dân A-mô-rít mà làm cho diệt đi? Oâi! chớ chi chúng tôi chọn phần ở lại bên kia sông Giô-đanh!
Giô-suê nói: Ôi! Chúa Giê-hô-va, sao Ngài đem dân này qua sông Giô-đanh đặng phó chúng tôi vào tay dân A-mô-rít mà làm cho diệt đi? Ôi! chớ chi chúng tôi chọn phần ở lại bên kia sông Giô-đanh!
Giô-suê thưa: “Đức Chúa Trời Hằng Hữu ôi! Ngài đem chúng con qua sông Giô-đan làm gì? Để cho người A-mô-rít tiêu diệt chúng con sao? Nếu thế, chúng con thà ở lại bên kia sông cho xong.
Joṣua sì wí pé, “Háà, Olúwa Olódùmarè, nítorí kín ni ìwọ ṣe mú àwọn ènìyàn yìí kọjá Jordani, láti fi wọ́n lé àwọn ará Amori lọ́wọ́, láti pa wọn run? Àwa ìbá mọ̀ kí a dúró ní òdìkejì Jordani?
