They raised over him a great heap of stones that remains to this day. The LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Therefore the name of that place was called “The valley of Achor” to this day.

আখনের উপরে তারা পাথরের বিশাল এক স্তূপ তৈরি করল, যা আজও পর্যন্ত বজায় আছে। পরে সদাপ্রভু তাঁর ভয়ংকর ক্রোধ থেকে নিবৃত্ত হলেন। তাই তখন থেকেই সেই স্থানটি আখোর উপত্যকা নামে পরিচিত হয়ে আছে।

et on éleva par-dessus un grand monceau de pierres, qui subsiste encore, et le courroux de l’Eternel s’apaisa. C’Est à cette occasion que l’endroit fut appelé la Vallée d’Akhor, nom qu’il a gardé jusqu’aujourd’hui.
