यहोवा ने तुम्हारे सामने से बड़ी-बड़ी और बलवन्त जातियाँ निकाली हैं; और तुम्हारे सामने आज के दिन तक कोई ठहर नहीं सका।
“याद रहेः याहवेह ने बड़े एवं बलवंत लोगों को तुम्हारे बीच से निकाला है, और कोई तुम्हारे सामने ठहर न सका.

“യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെമുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് വലുപ്പവും ബലവുമുള്ള ദേശവാസികളെ ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. നിങ്ങളോട് എതിർത്തുനിൽക്കാൻ ഇന്നുവരെ ഒരുത്തനും സാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
कारण, परमेश्वराने तुमच्यापुढून मोठी व पराक्रमी राष्ट्रे वतनातून घालवली, परंतु तुमची अशी गोष्ट आहे की तुमच्यापुढे आजपर्यंत कोणीही मनुष्य उभा राहू शकला नाही.
