যিহোশূয় এসব রাজকীয় নগর ও সেখানকার রাজাদের নিয়ন্ত্রণে এনে তাঁদের উপরে তরোয়াল চালিয়ে দিলেন। সদাপ্রভুর দাস মোশির আদেশানুসারে তিনি তাঁদের সম্পূর্ণরূপে ধ্বংস করলেন।

और उन सब नगरों को उनके सब राजाओं समेत यहोशू ने ले लिया, और यहोवा के दास मूसा की आज्ञा के अनुसार उनको तलवार से घात करके सत्यानाश किया।
यहोशू ने इन सभी नगरों और राजाओं को अपने अधिकार में कर लिया और तलवार से उनको मार दिया, जैसा याहवेह के सेवक मोशेह का आदेश था.
