Then they asked him, “Tell us, please, for whose cause this evil is on us. What is your occupation? Where do you come from? What is your country? Of what people are you?”

| فَقَالُوا لَهُ: «أَخْبِرْنَا لِمَاذَا جَرَى عَلَيْنَا هَذَا الْبَلاَءُ؟ وَمَا هِيَ حِرْفَتُكَ؟ وَمِنْ أَيْنَ أَقْبَلْتَ؟ وَمَا هِيَ بِلاَدُكَ؟ وَمَنْ هُمْ قَوْمُكَ؟» |
তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “কোন জনৰ দোষৰ বাবে আমালৈ এই অমংগল ঘটিছে, এই বিষয়ে আপুনি আমাক দয়া কৰি কওক। আপোনাৰ জীৱিকা কি? আপুনি ক’ৰ পৰা আহিছে? আপুনি কোন দেশৰ আৰু কোন জাতিৰ লোক?”
O zaman Yunusdan soruşdular: «Bizə de, başımıza gələn bu bəla kimə görədir? Sənin sənətin nədir? Haradan gəlirsən? Vətənin haradır? Hansı xalqdansan?»
তখন তারা তাকে বলল, “বল দেখি, কার দোষে আমাদের প্রতি এই অমঙ্গল ঘটছে? তোমার পেশা কি? কোন জায়গা থেকে এসেছ? তুমি কোন দেশের লোক? কোন জাতি?”
তাই তারা তাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল, “আমাদের বলো, আমাদের উপর এই সমস্ত সংকট আনার জন্য কে দায়ী? তুমি কী করো? তুমি এসেছই বা কোথা থেকে? তোমার দেশের নাম কী? তোমার জাতি কী?”

他們向他說：「請告訴我們：我們遇到這場災禍，是因什麼緣故﹖你是幹什麼的﹖從那裏來﹖你是什麼地方的人﹖屬於那一個民族﹖」

Toen zeiden zij tot hem: Verklaar ons nu, om wiens wil ons dit kwaad overkomt. Wat is uw werk en van waar komt gij? Welk is uw land en van welk volk zijt gij?
Nu zeiden ze hem: Zeg ons, waarom dit onheil ons treft; wat is uw beroep, waar komt ge vandaan, wat is uw vaderland, van welk volk stamt ge af.
Toen zeiden zij tot hem: Verklaar ons nu, om wiens wil ons dit kwaad overkomt. Wat is uw werk en van waar komt gij? Welk is uw land en van welk volk zijt gij?
Then they said to him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us. What is thine occupation? And from where do thou come? What is thy country, and of what people are thou?
Then they asked him, “Tell us, please, for whose cause this evil is on us. What is your occupation? Where do you come from? What is your country? Of what people are you?”
Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; what is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?
“Tell us now,” they demanded, “who is to blame for this calamity that is upon us? What is your occupation, and where have you come from? What is your country, and who are your people?”
Then they said to him, Now make clear to us what is your work, and where you come from? what is your country, and who are your people?
And they said to him, Tell us what is thine occupation, and whence comest thou, and of what country and what people art thou?
And they said to him, Tell us what is your occupation, and whence come you, and of what country and what people are you?
And they said to him: “Explain to us what is the reason that this disaster is upon us. What is your work? Which is your country? And where are you going? Or which people are you from?”
And they said unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us: what is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?
And they said to him: Tell us for what cause this evil is upon us, what is thy business? of what country art thou? and whither goest thou? or of what people art thou?
So they asked him, “Tell us who is responsible for this trouble that we're in. What do you do for a living? Where are you from? What is your country? What is your nationality?”
Then said they vnto him, Tell vs for whose cause this euill is vpon vs? what is thine occupation? and whence commest thou? which is thy countrey? and of what people art thou?
Then said they unto him: 'Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us: what is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?'

So [various ones of] them asked him, “Are you the one who has caused us all this trouble?” “What work do you do?” “Where are you [coming] from?” “What country and what people-group do you belong to?”
Then they said to Jonah, “Please tell us who is the cause of this evil that is happening to us. What is your occupation, and where did you come from? What is your country, and from which people are you?”
Then said they to him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil [is] upon us; What [is] thy occupation? and whence comest thou? what [is] thy country? and of what people [art] thou?

Τότε είπον προς αυτόν, Ειπέ τώρα προς ημάς, τίνος ένεκεν το κακόν τούτο ήλθεν εφ' ημάς; Τι είναι το έργον σου; και πόθεν έρχεσαι; τις ο τόπος σου; και εκ τίνος λαού είσαι;
καὶ εἶπον πρὸς αὐτόν ἀπάγγειλον ἡμῖν τίνος ἕνεκεν ἡ κακία αὕτη ἐστὶν ἐν ἡμῖν τίς σου ἡ ἐργασία ἐστίν καὶ πόθεν ἔρχῃ καὶ ἐκ ποίας χώρας καὶ ἐκ ποίου λαοῦ εἶ σύ
એટલે તેઓએ યૂનાને કહ્યું, “કૃપા કરીને અમને જણાવ કે તું કોણ છે કે જેના લીધે આ સંકટ આવી પડ્યું છે? તારો વ્યવસાય શો છે? તું ક્યાંથી આવ્યો છે? તારો દેશ કયો છે? તું કયા લોકોમાંથી આવે છે?”

| וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֵלָ֔יו הַגִּידָה־נָּ֣א לָ֔נוּ בַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר לְמִי־הָרָעָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את לָ֑נוּ מַה־מְּלַאכְתְּךָ֙ וּמֵאַ֣יִן תָּבֹ֔וא מָ֣ה אַרְצֶ֔ךָ וְאֵֽי־מִזֶּ֥ה עַ֖ם אָֽתָּה׃ |

तब उन्होंने उससे कहा, “हमें बता कि किसके कारण यह विपत्ति हम पर पड़ी है? तेरा व्यवसाय क्या है? और तू कहाँ से आया है? तू किस देश और किस जाति का है?”
इस पर उन्होंने योनाह से पूछा, “हमें बता कि हम पर यह विपत्ति किसके कारण आई है? तू क्या काम करता है? तू कहां से आ रहा है? तू किस देश और किस जाति का है?”

Anak buah kapal itu berkata kepada Yunus, “Apa betul kamulah penyebab terjadinya bencana ini? Apa pekerjaanmu? Kamu dari mana dan suku bangsa apa?”
