Jeremiah 51:64
Then you shall say, ‘Thus will Babylon sink, and will not rise again because of the evil that I will bring on her; and they will be weary.’” Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

और यह कहना, ‘इस प्रकार बाबेल डूब जाएगा और मैं उस पर ऐसी विपत्ति डालूँगा कि वह फिर कभी न उठेगा और वे थके रहेंगे।’” यहाँ तक यिर्मयाह के वचन हैं।
उसे फेंकते हुए तुम यह कहना, ‘बाबेल इसी प्रकार डूब जाएगा और फिर कभी उठकर ऊपर न आएगा, क्योंकि मैं उस पर ऐसा संकट डालने पर हूं. और उसके लोग गिर जाएंगे.’” येरेमियाह के शब्द यहीं तक हैं.

而していふべしバビロンは我これに災菑をくだすによりて是しづみて復おこらざるべし彼らは絕はてんと／此まではヱレミヤの言なり
そして言いなさい、『バビロンはこのように沈んで、二度と上がってこない。わたしがこれに災を下すからである』と」。ここまではエレミヤの言葉である。
