Seperti dahulu pada waktu Allah menunggangbalikkan Sodom dan Gomora serta kota-kota tetangganya, demikianlah firman TUHAN, demikianlah tidak akan ada orang lagi yang diam di sana dan seorang anak manusiapun tidak akan tinggal lagi di dalamnya.

ನಾನು ಕೆಡವಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೊಮೋರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ನರಪ್ರಾಣಿಯೂ ತಂಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
