Jeremiah 44:29
“‘This will be the sign to you,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that my words will surely stand against you for evil.’

| وَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: «وَهَذِهِ لَكُمْ عَلاَمَةٌ أَنَّنِي أُعَاقِبُكُمْ فِي هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ بِالذَّاتِ، لِتُدْرِكُوا أَنَّ قَضَائِي عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ حَتْماً يَتِمُّ. |

耶和华说：我在这地方刑罚你们，必有预兆，使你们知道我降祸与你们的话必要立得住。

इस बात का मैं यह चिन्ह देता हूँ, यहोवा की यह वाणी है, कि मैं तुम्हें इसी स्थान में दण्ड दूँगा, जिससे तुम जान लोगे कि तुम्हारी हानि करने में मेरे वचन निश्चय पूरे होंगे।
“‘तुम्हारे लिए इसका चिन्ह यह होगा,’ यह याहवेह की वाणी है, ‘मैं तुम्हें इसी स्थान पर दंड दूंगा, जिससे कि तुम यह समझ सको कि तुम्हारे संकट के लिए मेरी वाणी पूर्ण होकर ही रहेगी.’

Aku akan mendatangkan celaka ke atasmu di tempat ini untuk membuktikan kepadamu bahwa hukuman yang Kurencanakan untuk kamu, sungguh-sungguh akan terjadi.
Inilah tanda bagimu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, bahwa Aku akan menghukum kamu di tempat ini, supaya kamu mengetahui bahwa perkataan-perkataan-Ku terhadap kamu akan sungguh-sungguh terwujud untuk kecelakaanmu.
